Review for Silsoe Prestige Motors
Review for Silsoe Prestige Motors
I cannot recommend Silsoe Prestige Motors highly enough. From start to finish, my experience with them has been exceptional. They have a fantastic selection of high-end vehicles, catering to every preference and need.
What truly sets Silsoe apart is their outstanding after-sales service. Any issues that arose were handled promptly and efficiently, reflecting their commitment to customer satisfaction. Their warranty options are also impressive, providing peace of mind for buyers.
I wholeheartedly recommend Silsoe Prestige Motors to anyone in the market for a luxury vehicle. Their dedication to their customers is evident, and I would not hesitate to refer them to friends and family. A truly great company to deal with!

Do not trust
Do not trust. Tried to make out my px had issues which wasn't there. I'm a mechanic so I know there wasn't. Told me lies to get my car cheap to which i wasnt falling for, just plain and simple Con-men at work here. Wasted my day.

Very friendly and they gave me a great customer service and delivered my car to my home. Happy customer 👌
Tim is awful….. don’t trust him! Nothing but a liar
If it was a choice I would give a minus rating, we brought a car from these earlier this year, the fight has been unreal.
First off, upon collection there was a warning light which Tim assured me my husband was aware of (he was out of country when I collected the car) so I continued with collection however it transpired this was not brought to light. The handover of the car was appalling, basically passed me the keys, took a picture and went and sat back in his office, my father in law had to go get him to discuss the warning light, he he didn’t even come out of the office!!
Upon driving the vehicle home, a few things came to light, there was a shake on the steering when braking, turned out the brake discs were warped. I had in writing from Tim to take this to a garage to for diagnosis and he would re-imburst any costs incurred, thought great seems genuine. This is where the problems started, once I had put it into a garage we also had a diagnostic test to see if there were any other problems, well the list was endless, two main concerns turbo flagged up and glow plugs did, however these must have been cleared before pick up! Once highlighted to Tim, the fun began, calls were being ignored, messages read with no response.
When hubby returned home, he looked through all paperwork and there was no service history record so we requested this also as the vehicle was sold as full service history (we have proof from their website and another one we found the vehicle on). To this day we still have no service history, which will devalue the car a fair amount!
Following the return of hubby more problems were found, by this point we were over £500 out of pockets ourselves with NO sign of re-imbursement as Tim had gone radio silence on us! So we found the details of the directors and started to make things clear of our intentions, all of sudden Tim awakened! We receive a measly payment of £247 back, which came from a cafe and not the garage directly!
We continued to pursue as we were still out of pocket and the mis-selling of the car needed addressing, luckily for us we have had some support from our finance company which has now seen at least our costs recovered however Tim /Silsoe Prestige motors also won’t communicate with our finance company!
These guys are cowboys, they show no compassion or care once the vehicle leaves the forecourt, we have also reported them to trading standards for the falsely advertising and mis-selling of vehicles, if you look back far enough on the reviews this is a common occurrence with this, don’t waste your time!
AVOID ,AVOID ,AVOID I purchased a SUBARU wrx sti…
AVOID I purchased a SUBARU wrx sti PX15WCU from here . At the time of purchase, I dealt with sales manager Tim, who was helpful at the time. However, rushed me through the purchase process.
The first problem I experienced was the fact that I was told the printer was not working and I did not see any terms and conditions when I purchased the car instead recived them via a photo on whats app .
The next problem I had was when the car was advertised with having full service history and I only recived 1 peice of paper which had come from subaru showing only proof of 4 services, I tried to get hold of the rest but was ignored by Tim and had to get in touch on somebody else's phone number , after a few attempts I did eventually recieve one more piece of paper showing 1 in depth service from a mobile garage but I first recived this from the previous owner first as the garage gave me paper work with their name and adress on .
After, the next two weeks of driving the car i noticed it was using excessive amounts of oil (over 3LITRES within 2 weeks ) to be exact although this was not the fault of Silsoe Prestige Motors however, when I called and sent emails I had no reply which is when I decided to book the car in for my own check at a subaru speciallist who advised me that the car will require a lot of money spent on it due to requiring an engine rebuild , this is when I decided to use my 30 day short term right to reject so I sent of an official letter and email then to my surprise I received a phone call from Tim who told me that I had to give them a chance to repair the vehicle before I could return it which turns out I didn't have to do , this is when they told me to book the car in at my local subaru dealership and they would pay for a service and dignostics, when taking the car to subaru it also turned out silsoe prestige motors had also sold me a car with an outstanding recall without making me aware and after it was checked at subaru by speciallists I was also advised to return the vehicle using my short term right to reject as it would need a very expensive engine rebuild and silsoe prestige motors had not authorised subaru to look into the exact problems futher .
After exchanging various emails with silsoe prestige motors they eventually exepted my 30 day short term right to reject because I threatened legal acton .
Whilst all of this was unfolding I then recived a letter of final warning from a debt recovery company where it turned out silsoe prestige motors had recived a fine for not paying the m6 toll and had not payed it which then came to myself which was also rather threatening, when I recieved this letter I also noticed my name was spelt wrong which meant that when Tim taxed my vehicle he had spelt my name wrong which then went on my log book .
After afew painful weeks and legal advice I did eventually return the car but when I arrived at Silso prestige motors they told my that the speciallist technitions at subaru dont know what they are talking about and tried stating there was nothing wrong with the veicle even after two checks by speciallists.
I would also like to add that Tim is especially rude as when sitting in there shed sorting out my refund with shaun ,Tim aggressivly shouted from his desk at the other side of their small shed at my mother to "be quiet " which was very rude considering we were only talking with inside voices ,When they are operating from a small shed at the end if a field it is very hard not to hear the other conversations in the vicinity.
They then tried to tell me that there terms and conditions which I had never seen before and not signed state that they can deduct money for usage of the car at a pound a mile which they cannot do if the vehicle is returned withing 30 days , when I asked to see thease terms and conditions sales manager Sean couldn't find any and returned with a signed recipt stating that I would get a full refund within 14 days , on the 13th day i recived my refund but with £245 missing , when I emailed them about there short payment Tim emailed back telling me that they took the money as a non refundable deposit when I purchased the vehicle, I never left a deposit , when i questioned this Tim then changed his mind and told me that the money was being deducted for millage but I already had a recipt stating that I was to get a full refund, I then informed the AA and threatened legal action and I then recived my remaining £245 the same day as a "good will gesture "
It All worked out well in the end for myself however I would like to point out that 2 hours after returning the vehicle it was back up for sale for 500 pound more, since then I have noticed the car has been sold to an unaware owner just hope they check the oil before starting the car and they notice the problem before its too late .
Before buying from this garage please make sure you know your legal rights incase you have problems .
AVOID!!
AVOID!!
lying and thieving. I’m not sure what sort of power trip Tim thinks he’s on, but he genuinely thinks he’s the dogs nuts.
Paid a hefty deposit, continually said it was being refunded - no monies appeared. Weeks passed. Ignored calls/messages. Finally snapped and he said because of that, he was keeping the deposit.
I think I’ve been more intimidated by the postman but 10/10 for effort.
AVOID, AVOID, AVOID
Tim is a liar
Very disappointed with the service I received. Use extreme caution with dealing with this company as there is nothing prestige about them. The fact they operate from a shed in the middle of nowhere set alarm bells ringing. The sales man Tim is a liar and a fraud do not trust a word that he says.
AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS
This is the worst experience I have EVER HAD buying anything and I only hope people read all of the negative reviews about this awful company.
I don't normally write reviews but was compelled to after the appalling service we received from Tim. I genuinely have never met anyone who cares so little for his customers.
I took my son to look at a Fiesta ST they had. As soon as we walked in Tim started filling out the paperwork without even offering my son a test drive. I said that he would obviously like to drive the car first before deciding whether to buy or not. The car had just had an MOT and it showed some advisories on it including 2 rear tyres one of which was cracking and could have blown out at any time. Tim wouldn't offer any compensation for 2 new tyres even though we were paying the full asking price. He told my son that he could get new tyres for £50 each!! I would love to know where you can find tyres for a Fiesta ST for £50. Also the rear brake pads were wearing thin and again this was just brushed under the carpet. Perhaps worst of all was the lie that he told my son who he knew was 19 that he got free drive away insurance. When we got there he then told us it was for over 25's only. I said to him how are we supposed to drive the vehicle home if we aren't insured and he just shrugged his shoulders and walked off with no offer of trying to help us out. I work in sales and if I treated my customers like he does I wouldn't have any customers. I am sure over a period of time that their appalling service will catch up with them.
Do not buy a car from this company.
🤬🤬🤬🤬WARNING ‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️
Calm down, do not buy a car from this company and people, they are very dishonest people, 90% of the cars are broken and have accidents. They only sell broken cars to their customers and steal people's money and rights. Do not trust or believe me. I am still trying to get my money for which I paid £3000 debit. It has been 1 year. Do not calmly buy the porsche panemara in the ad. There is DPF on the car. And there is an electrical problem. I have all the documents as proof, especially from the AC company.

I can’t thank Tim enough for all his help. He literally bent over backwards to help us. Tim has fantastic customer service and kept us updated every step of the way. Thank you Tim I highly recommend this company
The sales advisor known as Tim is not…
The sales advisors known to work at Silsoe Prestige Motors Ltd, are not to be trusted.
Agreed a sale for a car - working out the finance deal, just before the offer is due to come out he sells to someone else and ignores my calls and messages with no explanation. Managed to get another car, but what a terrible, treacherous, arrogant individual this is.
Will also leave my comments on Google to warn other genuine buyers of this Rogue individual and poor run family business.

Company is not worth dealing with told me a lot of lies be very careful when dealing with them
So after looking for a convertible c63…
So after looking for a convertible c63 I found one here, first impression was ok Tim was polite and eager so I paid my deposit and sent payment in full before the car was picked up by a driver the car had no road tax and wasn’t a issue as Tim said he can tax it for me so sent him £230 and thought nothing of it until I asked for proof of tax I received a picture of a receipt for £180 and I asked what the £50 extra was for conveniently Tim was busy with other customers so no answer provided the car arrived with me minus the full service history minus the spare key fob and minus the air scarf it had stated in the description anyway all was not lost as we buy any car offered me £4300 for my bmw I had had it a while so Tim asked what I wanted and I said £10k he said can’t do £10k but can do £9k so I was ok with that so I took my new car to a garage for a health check and came back with a cracked alloy wheel and the trim on the rear of the roof was siliconed down as when they took the wrap off the car it must have been snapped by them anyway after £470 for a new fob £100 for the wheel to be welded £130 for a tyre had a side wall issue £900 for a dint to be removed and full spray the car is up to scratch so I guess the extra I got for my part ex covered my losses which is why iam not as peeved as I should be so today I got a email stating my bank account details and saying I have successfully set up a direct debit for road tax for my old car I part exchanged to them I would avoid this company all I seem to get is fobbed off I should have paid extra and gone to a professional outfit like Mercedes themselves anyway done the car up and think iam going to have a years fun with it and part ex at Mercedes for a gls63
Shocking!!
I purchased a BMW from this company in September. Once I left the car lot I had nothing but issues. The number of previous owners stipulated on the website was erroneous, the servicing they claimed had taken place 24 hours before I picked the car up was questionable as the brake pad lights came on within 2 days, the lights stopped working, the sensors stopped working - the list goes on. The main problem is trying to get a response from the company- they refuse to take or return calls. My concern is that I may have to go legal to get any form of remediation. I would advise any potential buyers bring a mechanic with you when viewing!!!!!

We traded in a car Tim gave a great price bought a great x5 very well priced very good ppl there no pressure like you get in some places all round great place highly recommend
A good used car dealership
We were part exchanging my wife's car for a Volvo S90. The entire process was very straightforward. We were offered a very fair part exchange price, the car we were purchasing was very well presented, we were permitted an extensive test drive and the actual transaction itself could not have been easier. Recommended.
Excellent treatment and purchase - 5 stars
Tim and company were great from the initial contact, I registered an interest in an Audi RS3 they had posted on Autotrader looking for more information and the same day we had a call to discuss, pictures videos etc. Tim was great in helping me find a deal that suited and the eventual purchase of the car. I travelled a 700 mile round trip to collect the car and honestly this has been my best car purchasing experience to date. Will definitely buy from Silsoe in future regardless of the distance. Thanks again mate!

Extremely pleased with the vehicle I purchased.
Was delivered FOC
Tim was very helpful
Will definitely use this company again.
Highly recommendable, extremely helpful
Being the manager of the Motor Vehicle Department at Central Bedfordshire College, I contacted this business for some cars to assist the students with their studies. From the initial phone call Tim and all staff could not have been more helpful, h sourced cars for us and had them delivered to him to save us travelling. Nothing was too much trouble and he went over and above to make sure the purchase and delivery of the vehicles was a smooth process.
I would highly recommend this company for the purchase of a car, the whole experience, including after sale has been amazing.
