Falsely advertised, my card was charged months after I cancelled my business with them, still no refund or response
Simple Health was advertised to accept insurance. I answered their questions but there was nowhere to put my insurance information. I waited weeks for a response back but it turned out they no longer accept insurance. I got a prescription from a different online company that accepts insurance and received it immediately. I told Simple Health I would not be continuing forward with them. One month later I got a reply from them telling me they were proceeding to charge my card the $20 prescriber's fee.
I understand that the prescriber's fee was for the doctor's time and not dependent on whether they were actually able to provide me with the prescription, but the whole experience was ridiculous and wasted so much time that my personal health was dependent on.
They told me a manager would reach out to me to discuss a refund but that was about 6 months ago. I have sent several emails following up but no response.
Horrible customer service
Horrible customer service. I have advised of my issue through chat and the bot’s answers were completely irrelevant. I was instructed to email the customer support center. I have emailed twice and received no response. They do not bill my insurance company and just charge my credit card each month. Do not use this company!
Don't get your birth control from SimpleHealth
I have been using this service for about a year now and EVERY time I had to get a new shipment, I had issues. I have Anthem Blue Cross and for the first two shipments everything went fine, everything was covered and stress-free. By my third shipment, my birth control wasn't covered anymore and I had to jump through hoops to get my money back. Now I have to renew my prescription and my insurance doesn't cover my birth control anymore even though it has for the past year. I am not one to leave reviews, especially negative ones, but please stay away from SimpleHealth. They are scammers and I really regret getting my birth control through them. For the past 6 months, they have stressed me out about my birth control.
I ended up having to go somewhere else…
I ended up having to go somewhere else to get another prescription because they refused to write it for a simple generic that my insurance would cover. Wasted weeks and lots of stress for nothing.
They are horrible an absolute crooks
They are horrible an absolute crooks. I tried to order birth control through my insurance but they sent back that they don't take kaiser so they couldnt do it. An all of this was sent through text. Next thing I know they're charging my card. When I had already went somewhere else to get it. They didn't contact me about an I never gave consent to charge my card at all. An then I contacted them about it an their email was literally so short an said sorry fda doesn't allow returns or refunds thanks have a nice day. Smh lol .. unbelievable. Best chances are going with someone else trust me. An p.s. their reviews on their site are fake. You literally have to send them a message to their email about giving a review then they will let you. If it's good. Hence all the positive reviews on their site. Smh
Definitely a scam
Well, I wish I had read these reviews before trying SimpleHealth. Despite having Blue Cross Blue Shield (a very very common insurance), they do not accept my insurance. They threatened to charge me for $75 unless I cancelled the subscription within 24 hours. They also refused to refund me for a $20 consultation fee. No doubt in my mind this company is a scam. What healthcare subscription service wouldn't accept Blue Cross?
Deceptive Company
Very deceptive company. Sent me a message over the weekend that insurance was no longer covering my prescription and that I would be charged $60 automatically if I didn't cancel the order within 24 hours. I didn't see this message in time because it was on a Saturday and I was out of town, and their customer service refuses to address the issue.
Avoid Pandia Health at All Costs!!!
Terrible experience so far and I'm starting to feel like this company is nothing but a scam! I paid $35 for an acne consultation for skin medication back on 12/12/2022. The doctor wrote 2 prescriptions which I still haven't received to this date! I was told from the beginning that my insurance would cover the medication. Days have turned into weeks without anyone from Pandia contacting me to let me know my insurance wouldn't cover one of the medications. I had to contact Pandia on my own doing last week to find this information out. After agreeing to pay an additional $90 out of pocket for the medication and being charged for it, I still haven't received anything! The prescriptions the doctor wrote are also showing as expired as of 12/13/2022 under my profile. This isn't a fast process at all, nor is it an easy one as they claim! Nothing but a bunch of run around from the Pandia customer service team to keep you from demanding your money back! I could have been to my Dermatologist by now and he could have prescribed the same medications so I wouldn't have to pay out of pocket!
Money grabbing scam.
Only use if you like being scammed out of $80.
I noticed an $80 charge and wrote to ask. They said that when I refilled my prescription in October they Simple Health was “not accepting insurance on new orders”. They didn’t warn me about that and just shipped it out without giving me a chance to cancel. So I had no option.
Then in December they send me a 2nd refill, again at $80. This time the excuse was that I was supposed to put my insurance in? Which it is on their website. I checked and it is there. They didn’t warn me (again!!) and just shipped out and charged me.
I used them before October when my prescription expired and they had been reliable back then, clearly something changed.
I have insurance and have normally received this prescription free.

Just want your money
I have been using simple health now for a couple of year. I never had a problem till recently. As of today I noticed that for whatever reason I’m being charged $80 for my birth control that I used to get for free with my insurance. Apparently I was charged $80 in August too but I didn’t notice. Normally this wouldn’t be a problem if I was notified of this new change. But I wasn’t notified whatsoever. My insurance also didn’t change so that is very frustrating. They act like they want to help women and make things easy and affordable but it looks to me that they don’t care anymore. Very disappointed they definitely lost a patient.
20 dollar consultation fee done prior…
20 dollar consultation fee done prior to prescribing or “consulting” and refuse to refund even if you receive nothing from them
They'll take your money and ghost you
Used them for awhile and they were pretty consistent; although there were issues of them substituting my scripts without telling me and a few other things, they were willing to fix them. They charged me for the yearly fee in September 2022. Then in late November, they notify me that they're not taking my insurance and I need to either pay or transfer my script. I tried until a few days ago to text, email and contact them to crickets. I FINALLY got someone to email me back on how to get my pharmacy take over the LAST REFILL from the script they had given me a year ago. I then asked them to refund me the annual fee as I hadn't gotten any services and it had taken so long to get anyone to fill me in on what to do. Thankfully I have records of all communications. They just replied back that they can't refund me because I had "been offered a valid prescription based on (my) health needs". So, I'm being charged for something i was offered? But I never received. I'm sure that there are many other people they've scammed this way, but just in case there are people researching, don't bother with this company. They're losing insurance companies (wonder why) and they're looking for cash grabs any way they can get it.
It’s a SCAM COMPANY
Do not use this company. They post so many FAKE reviews.
I used them for a 6 months birth control prescription. Went okay. And was notified after 6 month for renewal. Contacted them before pills were shipped to cancel. No reply.
I moved, so the pill never got delivered. Usps sent it right back to the company because address no longer existed.
When I asked them for a refund. They said they cannot issue refund for pills. Okay? I understand if I actually returned it which I didn’t.
So no pill. No return. Had to contact my bank to dispute the charges but it may be too late since it took simple health a month to reply to my email.
They lied to my face in writing and…
They lied to my face in writing and told me my insurance “changed and stopped supporting simplehealth” and auto charged me $80 a month for birth control. I called my insurance and they said nothing had changed and they still supported my prescription. I confronted them with the reference number and immediately they confirmed and sent out my order within minutes. Complete lied to my face to try to get me to pay cash. What a SCAM
Simple Health is a good idea In theory
Simple Health is a good idea, and that used to work great, but now its just a pain to deal with.
All last year I struggled with getting birth control prescription on time, I had to go to a different doctor to get a prescription to substitute their continuous delay.
Then randomly in the spring they change my prescription for valacyclovir. Are used to take a daily as preventative, now they refused to uphold that prescription and will only prescribe 12 pills a month. The recommendation was for me to find another doctor for that prescription.
Now my birth control prescription is coming early, but I've had cold sores for three months straight.
So if I have to go to another doctor to get a prescription, then why would I still use them?
Moving away from insurance to cash is…
Moving away from insurance to cash is the worst thing you can do to people, especially during these horrendous financial times. Such a slap in the face and its just plain selfish. Another example of how healthcare has moved away from taking care of the patient. Its all about making money off of people
Don’t trust
Simple Health has now turned into a scam. I used their company for 2 years with no problem until now. They randomly switched to a “cash-pay only” platform and do not accept insurance anymore. They also didn’t alert their customers of this change and expected us all to be okay with it. My birth control went from free with insurance to $60 every refill. They claim to provide “affordable birth control”, but that’s just a lie now.
So many hoops to jump through
So many hoops to jump through. Paused a prescription, wanted to resume, essentially impossible to do. Simple Health was less than helpful. Additionally I chose to add an Ella emergency contraception to my next auto ship birth control order and by the time it was finally ready to ship they told me my prescription had expired and I'd need to get the emergency contraception with my next auto ship, another 3 months out. Would not recommend.
I've been using simple health for my…
I've been using simple health for my birth control pills almost 2 years with no issues until recently. I was told on September 25th via text to be on the look out for my prescription.A week later no prescription. I was then told my bc pills was sent to another pharmacy which made no sense so I reached out to see what was going on. I was told I had to renew my yearly subscription for 20$ . Fine no problem so when I try to renew they are now trying to charge me cash when I have insurance and it's supposed to be free. Come to find out they no longer accept insurance and are cash based only. They never once informed me of these changes in fact they have been playing games for weeks when they could of been told me this information smh ridiculous I could been got my prescription filled elsewhere instead of waiting on them.
