Avoid like the plague.

An awful experience in every way. Non-existant communications, zero expectations management, failed to perform basic tasks, caused unnecessary delays. Very almost led to the collapse of transaction.

I could go on but I feel I am wasting my time. They have caused me unbelievable stress. I would not wish this company on my worst enemy.

Given the other reviews this could be a bad agent, however, I escalated my complaint and nothing improved.

I had a main person to deal with throughout the whole process, when she went on holiday I was introduced to the cover person, and the cover person was fully up to date with all the details. They were polite and helpful throughout the process, explaining everything language appropriately and not in legal jargon. I could not fault them, they were excellent.

We had a very good experience. It was a little slow at the beginning, and there were a few different people involved which slightly confused me. A couple of extra things turned up too, like the Building Saftey Act 2022, and a little miscommunication as our solicitor didn't know we were buying a house that was leashold rather than freehold so some extra fees. But apart from these minor things, after communicating directly with our buyer and our seller, it turned our solicitor was so much better than either of their's. And better than our previous solicitor when we bought our first flat. We would get emails responded to within a couple of hours max, and if we or our solicitor started a chain of correspondence back and forth it was a matter of minutes we would wait. We could phone too, and that was fine too but mostly we did emails. She chased both the other solicitors repeatedly, and wouldn't take half answers from them. She dealt well with our sellers estate agent, who played the middle man way too much and overstepped his position and expertise a number of times. She also made some straight decisions making sure we got indemnity insurance over an outbuilding that didn't have the correct planning permission. So thank you Bethany Summers for your excellent work, we are very happy.
