These Berghaus Gore-tex over trousers have proved to be perfect for golf. Very light for the golf bag and easy to slip on and off due to the side zips. Sizing is also good. I am a small size 8 and they are perfect as over trousers in the short length. Very good service from Simply Hike.

Having mislaid my previous Berghaus jacket which I'h had for quite some time I wanted something of a similar quality, suitable for urban and rural use, The Berghaus long jacket fits the bill perfectly. Loos good quality and it's Gore-tex; hopefully it will last even longer than the last one

The order was acknowledged and confirmed within minutes of me placing it on the website. 2 hours later I got confirmation the goods had been despatched and 3 hours after that I got confirmation of delivery the next morning, and our stove arrived exactly as promised. Impressive! They were also the only people who stocked this particular Fold n Go camping stove. Haven't used it yet, as it's in our holiday home ready for use during power cuts!

I ordered the wrong size boot online, realised as I clicked pay, so sent an email right away. I got a response right back to say order is on hold until I decide what to do. Sorted it with a refund and re-order of a different boot in my size. Boots came the next day. Would highly recommend.

Ordered boots no problem arrived no problem
Needed half size spoke to customer service they said they would get them in, so sent back Royal Mail for quickness as couldn't get to shop immediately. Email from returns no can do so ordered from another company as style becoming difficult to find. Phoned customer service next day only to find could still be got in, wasted £8.00 on Royal mail postage.

Quick & simple

The sleeping bag I ordered was in stock and delivered very speedily and well packaged. I haven't used it yet as it was bought for use in our holiday home for occasional visitors but it looks great.

Simply Hike had excellent info – and a very useful video – about the Berghaus Crusader rucksack. The information and especially the video demonstration of the features enabled me to make my purchasing decision. It arrived very promptly and clocked up 60 miles within a few days, as we finished off the Southern Upland Way that we had been doing in stages. The rucksack was excellent for just chucking my stuff in with out having to struggle, and access considerably easier than my older rucksacks.

I bought two pairs of Merinofusion socks, one Trail and the other Trekker. I already own one pair of Bridgedale socks which are used for walking and they are extremely comfortable and the new Trekker socks are equally as good although the Trail sock seems to be a less dense weave round the ankle and I did manage to catch and pull a thread on a rough finger nail.
