Very disappointed with their service. We had an issue with a tunnel payment because, by mistake, we entered the wrong number plate. We provided all the correspondence with TT2, and since they work as a rental company, they could have assisted us, but they did not help at all.
As a result, we ended up paying €250 immediately. We sent many emails asking for support, but unfortunately we still received no help from their side regarding the cost.
We hired a car from the Pula Bus station
We hired a car from the Pula Bus station branch, the receptionist was very pleasent, and the car was ready for us, a brand new one.
Everything went OK, and the return process was just as smooth with one small hiccup, the bay used by Sixt is inside the bus station and while the barrier will allow the car to leave it does not work when returning a vehicle, and parking nearby can be difficult.
Otherwise we were very happy.
Hefty charges for not fuelling
Hefty charges for not fuelling. The car was more than quarter tank, and for fuelling they charged 142 GBP. Full tank was 60 Liter, so for filling 45 liter they charged 142 GBP. When I asked, the customer experience was rough. Never do business with them

The pick up from a hotel was timely and without unnecessary fuss. The car was upgraded at no extra cost and the drop off was equally straightforward and trouble free. The Sixt staff spoke good English and were very friendly and helpful.
Ok for the price
For the price paid, the service is just acceptable.
1) There is a ridicilous deposit of GBP 1,200 on pick-up. This is very unexpected and can catch you out easily.
2) There was a strong smell (like animal product/fertiliser) coming from the aircon.
3) The steering wheel was shaking at speeds >70 mph.
But I hired the car for 1 day only and it worked ok. Off-hours drop-off was convenient.
Frustrating Experience with JustPark and SIXT
Such a shame that I feel the need to write this review. To be honest, I am not entirely sure which company is most at fault here, so I will be leaving the same review for both.
We travelled from London for a birthday trip for my Scottish partner and booked a hire car through SIXT, collecting it from Glasgow Airport. Before arriving, we had also pre-booked a parking space through JustPark in the ASDA car park next to Ibrox. As instructed on the website, we selected the “hire vehicle” option when booking the parking and entered the registration details for the hire car. Once we collected the vehicle, while still sitting in the SIXT office at the airport, I immediately updated the registration details again on the JustPark app to ensure everything was correct.
The car itself was absolutely fine, and when we returned it, we were informed that it had been handed back in excellent condition with no issues at all. In all fairness, the gentleman who hired the car to us was excellent and kindly gave us an upgrade, which was very much appreciated.
Unfortunately, things became frustrating afterwards when we received documentation stating that JustPark had issued SIXT with a parking fine for overstaying in the ASDA car park next to Ibrox, despite the fact that we had paid to park there. I understand that mistakes can sometimes happen with parking systems; however, what really disappointed me was the £40 administration fee charged by SIXT on top of this. Charging £40 simply to process and forward an email feels excessive and unfair.
Overall, the experience has left a sour taste after what was meant to be a special trip. Because of this, I would think twice before using either company again.
I've rented from them three times
I've rented from them three times, all my experiences have been excellent, starting from booking and picking up the car to returning it. My only minor note is that (according to the agreement) there's an additional £40 penalty for each unintentional traffic fine. I would appreciate it if they could remove this clause.

I had an extremely disappointing experience with .
I booked an expensive vehicle because I urgently needed it on the day. The booking was confirmed, payment was taken from my account immediately, and I even completed the online check-in process. After all of that, someone from the Stratford International branch called me to say there were actually no cars available.
What makes this even worse is that I never received any cancellation email or notification. When I contacted customer service via WhatsApp, they told me there were no notes from the branch stating the booking had been cancelled. I then had to call myself, wait for someone to answer, and only then was the booking finally cancelled.
Now I have been told I must wait 3–15 days for my refund, despite the fact I needed that money immediately to try and book another car for the same day. This completely disrupted my plans, wasted my time, and caused unnecessary stress.
Customers should not be allowed to book vehicles and have money taken from their accounts when there is no actual availability. The communication between the Stratford International branch and customer service was terrible, and the whole experience felt extremely unprofessional.
I expected much better service from SIXT, especially after paying for a premium vehicle.

I booked my car as we had seven people in our group from New Zealand that needed to travel around the Normandy and Somme area as we had specially come to do the ANZAC ceremonies

Outstanding Service
Flew into Orlando and arrived slightly earlier than expected. Sixt staff advised that there was a compatible car ready for us to collect. Completed the necessary paperwork with ease. The lady on the desk was extremely helpful and thorough.
On return the service was exceptional, no hold ups whatsoever. Within a few hours we had confirmation from sixt that the car had been returned in good order and with a full tank.
In a couple of days the pending deposit amount was removed from my credit card.
Absolutely exceptional service.

Sixt is a con! It’s a scam! They steal your deposit. They put a block on it and you never get it back!
SIXT gaslit us and sent a 2000 pounds invoice for things we did not damage!!
SIXT gaslit us!!! They have attempted to charge us for "missing nuts and bolts" inside the van - after we've made a casual comment that the bulkhead was dripping water while it rained - we only mentioned it in case they didn't know and that IF they wanted the fix it for the next customer, but what did they do?? They bit us like animals, the guy immediatly checked the van and said we damaged their van with the bolts missing!! I was furious, and I froze as I really started doubting myself if it was really us. After that "inspection", they sent us a 2000GBP invoice and we luckily had photos and videos on the rental day and have contacted solicitor - after 2 months eventually have voided this invoice. It was such a nightmare and unncesssery stress. I will NEVER use this company again even if you pay me!!!
