Micheal made the whole experience enjoyable, even though we we’re learning, my only concern was that I still had to get on my hands and knees even though I explained that I couldn’t as I’ve had a knee replacement and was struggling with my other knee , what would have happened if it was someone with a disability or in a wheelchair I think this needs to be assessed for future training courses

Elke and Sarah were very friendly and great tutors, they put everyone at ease and explained all the training in details.

The trainer (Kerry), kept the course engaging and thought provoking but in a very sensitive and professional manner. Her expertise and experience was very clear to see and she made the course a great experience.

Rayana was amazing, super engaging and had a really good teaching style. She really did make the training fun but also I feel like I’ve successfully learned what I needed too.

I did the blended emergency first aid for work course, and the experience was fairly seamless. The in-house training was led by a chap called Joel, who was friendly, easy-going and very knowledgeable. He is a five star instructor, and I would highly recommend both him and St John Ambulance for first aid training.

Good two days and good conversation - flowed nicely but do think it was stretched out a bit and may have been able to completed in less time.

Took the course in Leeds City centre at St. Andrew's House.
Course was very informative and Odelle and Katie were very entertaining and helpful with their knowledge and experiences being apparent and helping with the teaching on the course.
Would recommend the course to people from across different working environments. I myself work in a laboratory environment and the course went into detail which will be relevant to me such as chemical burns. St John’s also offer a free app which acts as an encyclopedia which has useful popups which has been especially useful with the hot weather this week.

I recently attended an Emergency First Aid course in Bedford on the 18th June and had a really positive experience. Amy, the trainer, was knowledgeable, engaging, and explained everything clearly, making it easy to understand and remember. The practical elements were particularly useful and helped build confidence in applying the skills. Overall, I feel much more prepared to respond in an emergency. I would definitely recommend this course to others.

I’ve done First Aid Courses at this location before, but this one was so much better. Leanne tells us she has only been with St John’s for 4 months but she made it so engaging and I came away knowing so much more background as to why we do things the way we do. It was really informative, and much more hands-on than previous courses. I would definitely recommend to anyone thinking of gaining First Aid knowledge to go for it. I had no idea such a small percentage of the population have no First Aid skills at all.

Learn so much about what first aider can do. How much it will be impacted on someone life saving and as an individual benefits of learning. It was one of the best trainer ever, she patiently executed all here teaching to all the trainees to make sure everyone understood their role when emergency turn up in any place any time. Both theoretic and practical are well performed without any problems. Thank you.

Really enjoyed the course, it was about serious stuff but fun, Dean running the course made it so.
