I've just had a pair of gravel wheels built by SJS, and I am very impressed. They arrived slightly sooner than I'd expected - well within the timeframe stated for wheel builds on their website - and the price was very reasonable. Not bargain-basement priced, but below RRP for the hubs and rims (Hope Pro 5 and DT Swiss RR481 db) and the per-wheel build price seemed very reasonable, given the quality spokes and the overall build quality - they had clearly been assembled and finished by someone who knew what they were doing as, on their first outing today, there were no pings and creaks of spokes settling and bedding in: that had clearly been taken care of before they were sent out.

I have paid more for lower quality pre-built wheels in the past, so my next set of (MTB) wheels will be coming from SJS too.

Where to go to find the parts that other shops don't have

Had to replace a cracked rear rim on a hybrid e-bike. Chatted to them by phone to find the most suitable replacement, taking system weight, bike type, use and cost into account. Most cost-effective was a complete wheelset built by SJS’ wheel builder. Bought spare spokes too - just in case! Everything arrived within 48 hrs of placing the order. Really well wrapped and packed too. Another great buy from SJS.

SJS are my go to for any parts and equipment. I use lots of HopeTech stuff and they hold the widest range of parts, spares and tools and manage to supply all of this with very keen prices and prompt delivery.

Very fortunately had parts I wanted from the USA. Same price without any import tax and next day delivery.

Also immediately sorted it out after I accidently put my old address. Quite a few bike part shops online are almost impossible to contact so this was a very nice change.
