Does not last

Does work for me when it works, but disappointingly products poor quality. Ordered 3 different versions 18 months ago. 1 effortless which we had to return (at our shipping expense) after 2 weeks because it stopped charging. 1 wireless which we lost ;( a month after so not sure how long that would have lasted. And 1 classic corded one which stopped working after 5-6months—when I took it out of headband to examine, I notice the fabric covering the cord had ripped, so the plastic cord had protruding loops all along it, not sure if this is the cause.

I do like it when it works, but lost all confidence about the longevity quality of this product beyond few short months.

Please know we have a limited one year warranty on all of our products and would be more than happy to replace any covered components for you. If you could please fill out the warranty form found on our site and send it in with the components and receipt from whatever retailer you used for the purchase, we will send you new components to insert into your headband! Only one side works...

The headband is comfy enough (I am super glad I didn’t get a fleece option) and the flat nature of the earphones is what I wanted, but one earphone does not work. Additionally, the phones keep moving within the headband which takes a lot of constant adjusting. It’s not a bad thing though because if they were fixed in place then they wouldn’t match up to the ears of different users. Occasionally there is crackling from poor wire connections. If both of the earphones worked I would rate this a 4.5

First, when you tried the product were the speakers placed directly over your ears? All of our products come with speakers that are removable, so they can easily be positioned within the headband to line up over your ears. While wearing the SleepPhones® headband, please gently push the speakers around until they are situated on your ears. Please make sure that you are lining up the speakers and not the felt connector that keeps the wires together.

Second, if you are using a wired version, is there a case on the device that you are using with the SleepPhones®? We have found that some cases do not allow the audio jack to be inserted all the way, which can cause one of the speakers not to function properly.

Headband size

I measured my head, and I was sort of in the middle of two sizes. I think I should've went smaller, instead of bigger. But I really enjoy them.

A proper fitting headband will prevent the speakers from sliding around while in use as well as the headband slipping. Having too snug of a headband, however, might cause discomfort as the speakers would be pressing into your ears. We would be happy to exchange your headband for a different size! If you could please fill out the warranty form found on our site and send it in with your headband, we will send you a new headband to insert your speakers into! i use it for binaural beats

i use it for binaural beats, but the sound is not high enough although i increase the volume to the maximum on the device. "David delight pro"

Thank you for your review! The SleepPhones® products were constructed to minimize ambient noises. If you listen to music, you can camouflage outside sounds such as snoring. However, the product does not have any external equipment to eliminate noise. We market the product as noise reducing rather than noise canceling. Our products are not cancelling because we feel that being able to hear a fire alarm or a child monitor in the middle of the night is important.

Good idea and very easy to sleep in

Good idea and very easy to sleep in. The ear pieces are not noticeable and I do not wake up with ears that are sore or hurt!
However it does tend to slip on my head and since I do change positions several times at night the headband does move around, sometimes covering my eyes. All in all, though, the best earphones for sleeping I have come across.

These are great

These are great! I've tried several different blue tooth sleep earphones, including an early SleepPhones version, and none of them worked for me. However these are very easy to use and extremely comfortable. Because I "sleep hot" I got the lighter fabric. The earphones are easy to adjust inside it and it is not hot at all. It's easy to turn the blue tooth on and off through the fabric. It took me a few times to learn how to set the sleep phones up with the "effortless" charger, but I finally realized the magnet just snaps it into place. All in all, very happy with the product.

I like the idea of SleepPhones but...

I like the idea of SleepPhones but the execution isn’t quite there.
I toss and turn at night, leaving ear buds as a no-go. While SleepPhones are pretty comfy, there was a loud humming with the 4 options on the app (which maybe needs a trouble shooting section?). When I tried my own music or sleep sounds, the humming/ pulsing was louder than what I was trying to hear. Like, “UFO outside my window” loud. (I have tried more expensive buds with Bluetooth tech that didn’t have the same issue...)

Also, the band gave me a wicked headache (size M) which I also get from some hair bands etc. I can see why so tight for exercising... but sleep bands maybe need more give?

Love These!!

I love these so much. I have given them as gifts twice!! My husband snores and SleepPhones have made my life so much easier especially when traveling. They are comfortable and easy to use & charge. The sound quality is great. I also use these when I walk or am at the gym.
