These are a nice idea, but can cause pain. Yes, they may be the slimmest earpieces available, but they are still a hard plastic disc around 22mm diameter by 2mm thick. It's solid with a fabric covering, so the hard disc still presses against your ear. I understand these are probably piezo speakers and thus need to be encased by plastic, but honestly for me the discomfort can make them unwearable. I've switched back to my £10 pendant earphones.

They're really comfortable and easy to fall asleep in. I love using them, but the lack of durability is frustrating. Between my wife and myself, we've gone through 3 sets of the wired models. In all cases, eventually (less than a year) one ear will stop working. Tried to fix, but tiny wires are hard to solder. Switched to wireless (really nice!) but, less than a year in, they don't hold a charge. Happened to two pairs. Of course, the whole module is overmolded, so trying to replace the battery cells on is probably hard. I guess I may as well try.

Besides the E-waste this creates, they are too expensive to always be replacing. My wife switched to cheap knockoffs (they won't last anyway, so why not save the money). I'm going to see if I can exacto knife open the modules and try to figure out some way to replace the battery cells.

Update: I began investigating the internal construction. It was actually unnecessary to cut the rubber of the module; there is a sticky covering that can be peeled off. Inside, there is a main "brain" and then a flat, square battery module connected by a removable connector. Because of this, it actually appears that a battery replacement would be quite feasible, the main difficulty being that there could be some damage involved in peeling off the cover. However, with care I think this could be replaced, even if some Scotch tape was involved- after all, the module resides in the headband when in use. I don't know where to start looking for a replacement battery though, I do not see any identifying information and it's quite possible it is a custom part. I'm going to double check to see if sleep phones offers replacements.

I've had my wireless sleepphones for 3 years now. I've used them every single night since i got them. But yesterday the left speaker stopped working, probably because of a lot of wear and tear. I'm actually surprised they didn't break sooner. But even so, i still feel like i've got my money's worth.

- Custom sizes: great!
- Thin and soft speakers: great!
- Bluetooth: great!
- Soft rubber electronics: great!
- Stay charged for 12 hours: great!

Did I say these headphones are awesome? I bought them for my wife. She likes them a lot and I feel like I gave her a nice gift, probably the best headphones (for sleeping) on the market. I'm proud of myself. :-)

Love 'em. Bought them to pair with the "Sleep with Me" podcast, on which they were recommended. Good sound quality and easy to charge and adjust. Super convenient for workouts too. I was worried my partner might be bothered when I use them to sleep at night, but they can't hear a thing.

If you're looking for some headphones for ASMR get these! I was very worried about this product. They are a gift for someone who already has high quality earphones (but are awkward for sleep) and I was concerned about the sound quality and volume of these. Looked at review's and articles before choosing this brand.

I emailed the customer service team before purchasing to check that they would arrive before Christmas and they replied only a couple of hours later! My earphones arrived in one day on a weekend! I didn't even choose an express delivery.

They are a gift but I wanted to check them out first and I am VERY impressed. The band was super comfy and connecting them to my phone was simple. The product arrived fully charged. You can feel the speakers when you lie down but they are by no means uncomfortable. The sound quality and volume is brilliant and the battery has lasted all night. Tried playing some rock music through them and you do loose a bit of base but I'm not thinking they're going to be used for that at night anyway.

Something in these break down and stop working. Even though they'll send a replacement part, you're quickly out of warranty the next time it stops working and so I've had to purchase a second one. And then that broke and when it happened again to the newest one I had, I was out of warranty again and they wanted me to purchase the product for a 3rd time! Nuts. Their limited warranty speaks for itself and I don't want to buy headphones yearly.

So 2 orders - about a week apart.
Order one - arrived and looked like the dog ate it - they didn't work - so returned.
Order two - Claimed to be dispatched but the tracking number provided was invalid and never arrived. I complained and 2 weeks later they shipped another pair.
They arrived - but didn't work.

No sign of the promised replacement for order 'one'...

I emailed to asked them to provide working items, and they have given me a refund for one, no update on the other. 4 weeks and 21 emails - what a waste of time.

I saw SleepPhones advertised on Mo Rocca’s Innovation Nation on CBS and decided to try them out.
I originally purchased my SleepPhones Classic in May of 2020. The first pair only lasted 7 months. The wire started to bend and curl with even the slightest movement while sleeping. There was no way to unravel the wire as the bends in the wiring material were very stiff. The insulation on the wires started to crack and the wiring underneath became exposed. My SleepPhones were always taken care of and were not misused. (Only used while sleeping). I tried multiple times to unravel the wire to no avail. Once the wire curls up, which will happen to almost every set, the SleepPhones start shorting out and eventually stop working. A waste of $40!

Fast forward to January of this year, I emailed SleepPhones about receiving a refund or warranty replacement after the first set failed. They said that refunds are only issued 30 days after purchase. I received a warranty replacement (speakers & cable) once I mailed in the defective pair. They said they would not provide a warranty for the replacement set.
Just like clockwork it is now Aug 2021 and the replacement set has shorted out and stopped working due to curled up and bent wiring. Again, they were in no way misused.
Very disappointed in this product and company. :(
I originally wanted the Bluetooth version of Sleep Phones, but they run $99! You can actually find products very similar to the SleepPhones headband from other brands that are Bluetooth for very reasonable prices through other vendors. I would not have purchased this product if I would have known about the defective build quality. Listen to the one star reviews! I should have! :(

I have had problems with my SleepPhones v6 Classic Headband Headphones (Corded) (loose wires), BUT they have been brilliant about replacing them, quickly and with no quibbles. I've rarely had such good customer service from any other company. Make sure you buy them directly from SleepPhones!

The SleepPhones I received were faulty. I contacted the company well within the 30 day return period but it has taken a long time, with much emailing back and forth, for this company to agree to provide a refund and I am still unsure if any of the postage will be refunded. They seem unfamiliar with basic consumer rights. Avoid.

Great product!! A god send :) helps me sleep so much better

Initially this product was great and it’s pretty good at blocking out sound and has good playing quality. However, after only about a month or less of having it the battery started deteriorating. It stopped charging all the way and the charging light would come off when it wasn’t actually fully charged. Also, I would plug it in all day and then turn it on and be at half battery. Super annoying especially because when I try to use it on half or less battery it stops working in the middle of the night and won’t turn back on. It’ll play for about a minute before shutting off again and then it’s pretty much done for the night. It’s very pricey and definitely not worth all the problems it has. I like the idea and function of it but it’s gotten very finicky in terms of actually working and it just isn’t worth the price.

The eye cover itself is of good quality, but the headphones are massive and bulky, far larger and cheaper quality than I've seen in competing brands (seriously like a couple of inches thick). I don't know what they were thinking, when you can get a competing one in which the headphones are made of a soft, flexible material. It hurt to sleep on, and took over a month to get to me, not to mention the spam they sent my inbox the entire time I was waiting.

Highly don't recommend this.

The sound is good but the fit and comfort level are sub par. The technology inside is akward and press against the occipital bone. The inner workings are constantly shifting out of place because of the bulkiness of the velcro seams. Just a general nuisance to get and keep in place. The design and technology are not at a level that justifies the price. I was disappointed.

I bought these to be able to use headphones comfortably at night when I travel. I bought the fleece type headband and live in the hot, Deep South. With AC on they are not too warm. I like them, BUT…

I measured my head 3 times!! The circumference was exactly in the middle of the middle for a size medium. The headband is TIGHT. NOT UNCOMFORTABLE TIGHT, but tight enough that I feel very sorry for those who are within the higher size limits for any of these sizes. (I MIGHT spend more of my hard-earned money and buy a size large headband).

The range is VERY SHORT!! If you have a standard 1500-1800 sq.ft home these headphones will turn themselves off even if you move two rooms away. A 30-ft range is not even accessible out into the yard. I did not see that disclaimer in the online description but it is stated in the owner’s manual. (RME)

Suggestions for improvement… 1. Adjust size parameters and add sizes. Some people have bigger heads than the largest measurement for a large. 2. You have a fancy charger available, how about a fancy range extender. 3. if you want people to do the “eco-friendly” thing, then provide a better shipping method than a padded envelope or mailing bag. 4. A color-matched storage bag would be convenient… with inner pockets.

What a great company. I got these not realising how good they would be. If you lie in bed with normal headphones you have no idea what you are missing. After 6 months there was an issue with the charging so i returned them. I had to send from overseas so it took a while for the package to arrive and in the meantime I have been lying in bed with an old pair of headphones and cannot tell you how much I miss them. The good news is that my replacement is already on the way.

Great product, Great after sales service; what more could you ask for.

I've had this sleep headband for about 10 days now and have had 3 problems with the current product. First its a good product and I wear mine nightly to listen to my pink noise on my iphone. Here's my problems: 1. the ear pieces 'float' in the headband. When I turn over during sleep, the ear pieces move in the headband. There should be a way to make them stay in place, once adjusted in place. 2. The battery also 'floats in the headband and often covers one of the hearing pieces when I wake up during the night. Adjusting them is very bothersome to me. 3. The hearing pieces must be placed exactly over the ear within a quarter inch or I can't hear any sound. Fix these problems and its a winner product. Nows it a prototype in need of further development.

I have owned these for over a year now. They are incredible. Battery life lasts all through the night, easily. They are comfortable. There are no wires tethering you to your phone. They are durable - cheaper alternatives, both wired and bluetooth, have invariably failed within a month or two. The components (Each speaker, main module) are replaceable should something break. Charging is easy. I cannot state enough how well designed a product this is and the difference it has made in helping me get to sleep.

I am a loyal believer in the Acoustic Sheep Sleepphones product. I have had mine for nearly one year, and I have never slept better. I wear them to bed at night, listening to an audiobook (or meditative sleepcast), and I gently drift to sleep. My wife watches TV to help her sleep, and my ability to wear the sleepphone (with an eyemask) benefits both of us.

Regarding customer service, it is, simply said, World Class. I recently procured a second pair for a public safety officer who is having difficulty sleeping (COVID-19 related shift changes), and Jenna graciously walked me through the entire process. I cannot say enough about the quality of the product, or the quality of the people working at your company.
