I hated these

I hated these. The headband didn't stay in place. The speakers also didn't stay in place. I tried using them for a few nights and since then they've been gathering dust in my nightstand. Waste of money.

Works for tinnitus but not comfortable.

I bought the wireless headband for sleeping because I have tinnitus. I've used it for a week now. The sound quality is good and the band itself soft.
This product helps mask my tinnitus well, but in my experience it's not comfortable. I sleep on my side and wear the headband all night and sadly the outside of my ears hurt a lot after and the pain doesn't go away because every night the pressure makes it a bit worse. People have said the headphones and Bluetooth module are almost unnoticeable but for me this isn't true. the headphones are very noticeable when you're on your side and as I said they actually hurt. The module and especially the cord feel awkward and it is hard to place it comfortably. The most bothersome part of the Bluetooth module is that the buttons make a very loud sound when pressed, and they are so sensitive that I've woken up to the loud "beep" noise in the middle of the night.
I don't know why this product is so uncomfortable for me when so many say it is very comfortable, but here we are. For someone who sleeps on their back or doesn't use it the whole night, these problems might not show up. I will keep using my sleep phones though, because after all the problems they are still way better than earbuds!

This is the only headset that I have…

This is the only headset that I have found that actually covers the sound of my husbands very loud snoring! So I am completely thrilled about it! My only issue is that the headset does not always charge when it’s supposed to be, which is frustrating! I wish there was a battery meter on the app so I know what to expect.

Has a bright red light that flashes very annoying

Has a bright red light that flashes. Why would you design this into a product to be used at night time. Beeps when not connected properly why would you want it to beep when it stops working so it wakes you up, you know it’s not working when it won’t play the music, the design is wrong if it wakes you up to tell you it has stopped working. Charging is difficult, why do you have to take it apart to charge.

I just returned mine via Amazon.ca

I just returned mine via Amazon.ca. The sound(especially vocal) completely died. Sounds tinny and distant. So disappointing given the price and the fact that the speakers inside move around a lot. This is a fiddly product and, yes, I bought the right size ! They also hurt my ears if I fell asleep with them on as I am a side-sleeper.

A product you must try!

I was extremely skeptical when i researched this product. But, this product exceeded my expectations! It is easy to use, comfortable to wear, and numerous sites have sounds to download to lull you to sleep. Once you try this product you will also be convinced. It blocks out background sounds and provides you with a truly excellent method to calmly bring you to a restful sleep. Enjoy!

Excellent sound quality with comfort for an amazing experience!

Love the comfort of the ultrasound headphones for relaxing and the cloud fleece is soft without makeup ng me overheat. The sound quality is excellent esp for such a Slimline piece! The cord is tangle-free and the right length with my smartphone on my nightstand. I love to store my SleepPhones in Cirrus, the SleepPhones Sheep when not in use. Love this product line!

The comfort level of my sleepphones is…

The comfort level of my sleepphones is excellent, I can actually sleep comfortably and wake up not knowing they have been there...no "tight" marks or sore ears!! The only issue I have found is the speakers drift if I toss and turn. Get that issue straightened out and these would be premier head sets. Soft, comfy, good sounding and a little wandery within the headband.

Great but hardly “Effortless.”

I have been wearing headphones to bed for several years now, and when my last pair died I decided to treat myself to the “Effortless” Sleepphones. The idea of wireless charging appealed to me and not having to fuss with cords and cables was ideal. $150 USD is a high price point (well over $200 CAD) for the product but I haven’t found another set that has the wireless charging option.

The speakers themselves are very nice. The headband fits my head nicely (size Medium,) I bought the fleecy headband as well as the lighter one for warmer weather. My problem is that the wireless charging is finicky, you have to put the set down right in the sweet spot in order for it to connect and charge. There is a magnet that helps the connection, but I find I still have to wiggle it until the light starts flashing (indicating charging.) The Bluetooth module also can shift around inside the headband and I find I have trouble finding the buttons as they slip under the Velcro closure. This also leads to trouble with the charging pad.

All in all I love the headphones but would like if there was a way to keep the module more securely in place inside the headband.

Our sincerest apologies for the difficulty you've experienced with the product. We would like to try a few troubleshooting steps to see if we can get the speakers working properly for you.

First, when you tried the product were the speakers placed directly over your ears? All of our products come with speakers that are removable, so they can easily be positioned within the headband to line up over your ears. While wearing the SleepPhones® headband, please gently push the speakers around until they are situated on your ears. Please make sure that you are lining up the speakers and not the felt connector that keeps the wires together.

Second, is there a case on the phone that you are using with the SleepPhones®? We have found that some cases do not allow the audio jack to be inserted all the way, which can cause one of the speakers not to function properly.

I have been using SleepPhones for a couple years now and they have continued to improve their product, this time I decided to go wireless with the easy charging. I love it, took a little to get the right charging position.

SleepPhones are great but effortless charger isn’t.

SleepPhones are great but the ‘effortless’ charging system isn’t. When I place the phones on the ‘effortless’ charger the light blinks green for a few seconds and then starts blinking red. I have to fuss with the placement of the phones for minutes to get them in the exact right position. It seems that I can never find the right position because no matter how I place them the blinking green light comes on (indicating that they’re positioned correctly) and then seconds later the red light starts flashing. It would take less time and effort to just charge them by using the standard charging cord. I feel like I spent extra money for a flawed charging system. Again, I love the actual headphones but the charging system is disappointing (did I get a faulty charger?).

Our sincerest apologies for the difficulty you experienced! When placing the Bluetooth® module on the charging base, please make sure that it is facing down on the induction charger. This means that when you feel it as it is charging, it should be a flat surface with the three buttons pointing toward the charging base. Also, the speaker plug on the module will need to be positioned on the opposite side of the micro USB port on the charging base. When positioned correctly, you will feel a magnetic attraction between the Bluetooth® module and the charging base. You might need to move the module a bit within the headband as the Velcro® and loop opening might be interfering with the magnets.
