No customer service response

While I was happy with the product initially, this review is due to their customer service. I have been trying to return my purchase after it seemed to be faulty and have received no response to multiple emails and phone calls. The "Returns" button on the website does nothing and the customer service of the holding company, John Cotton, also does not respond. I would not order from them again.

If you want a delux bed for your dog…

If you want a delux bed for your dog this is it.
It’s really soft and my lab loves it.
The material is much easier to keep clean than I thought as other donut beds are fluffy and things get stuck in them and their lifespan is pretty short.
The only thing that surprised me was the weight of it it really quite heavy carrying up the stairs for bedtime.
It all comes apart to wash which is great as those that don’t won’t fit in my washing machine even though they say they are machine washable.
All I would say that it would be nice if they did bigger sizes as my lab likes stretching out but the sides are too high and small to do that but she does love curling up in it.

Really good nights sleep from your…

Really good nights sleep from your heavy duty king size wool duvet. No overheating or sweating just unadulterated warm sleeping environment at a great price. I have binned three down duvets after the down movement made cold patches after years of use. No more concerns, only what to do with old duvets!

Extremely disappointed

The item purchased was everything I expect, quality and comfortable. Arrived extremely quickly. However, I ordered a duel option for the electric blanket. A normal one arrived without duel control. It was urgently needed, so paid extra for a quick delivery and then had to use it. Hence couldn't return or ask for refund.

The throw was delivered to the wrong…

The throw was delivered to the wrong property (next door) and left hanging on a gate(I had not sorted a safe place). Fortunately, I managed to find it from the delivery picture. The address on the package was very small, and 26 could easily look like 28 in such dark conditions.
All good, supersoft heavyweight material, and neutral is a great colour combo(cream /light brown

Brilliant Wonderful Wool Range/Excellent Customer Service

The Slumberdown Wonderful Wool range is an excellent product, the high tog duvets are light in weight and very cosy. Both duvets, bed topper, and four pillows arrived separately, well wrapped and within a couple of days of placing my order during a particularly cold snap, amazing considering many parts of the country were covered in snow and freezing cold. Both Customer Service Assistants Bev and Suzie were exceptionally friendly and helpful in sorting out a size mistake I had made when ordering, they are both a credit to Slumberdown.

Ordered a king size dual zone dual side…

UPDATE: So I did eventually hear back from them and they offered me two options both in my favour. The only issue was the I had to wait days again for them to see my reply and respond confirming the choice. In situations like this, once a ticket is open and active, it should be monitored and responded to as a priority. I do feel you need a small team of call handlers or live chat. Emailing back and forth seems quite slow in today’s modern age. Because of this I have updated the score from 1 star to 4. I think to achieve a 5 star the support system does need to be looked at. Many thanks once again though for sorting the issues out.

ORIGINAL REVIEW BELOW:
Ordered a king size dual zone dual side electric blanket with two controllers. When it arrived they had a leaflet inside saying it was out of stock and they have given me a free upgrade. On opening and checking. This was identical to the one I ordered except it only has one controller meaning my partner has to have the same setting as me on her side. She suffers from her back and I suffer with my feet and legs. This is specifically why we ordered the dual control and dual zone. No phone number to contact them and emails takes up to 5 days to even reply. Very unhappy indeed as I’ve been given a downgrade not an upgrade and does not match the description to what I ordered. Please get in touch asap.

Arrived unstitched on one side with filling exposed.

The wool duvet arrived and I unpacked it. I found that one side hadn't been stitched and the filling was exposed along the full length of one side.
I am wondering how the quality control at Slumberdown allowed this to happen.
Wool duvets are not cheap!
I am thoroughly unimpressed because this was not picked up before packing the duvet.
Slumberdown you need to get your quality control up to scratch!
It's also really hard to get in touch with customer service, especially if you didn't buy it directly from Slumberdown.

Plush bed for pets.

This is a comfy bedding for pets. The fact the cover is washable and spares can be bought is the reason I chose it. It’s as a guest dog bed when our family turns up ( for the dog ) not the family. 😂Not used used daily.

Good product

I was very happy in every aspect of my purchase.
It was delivered very quickly especially as it was ordered in the Christmas period.
The mattress topper is great!
It doesn’t go flat and makes a real difference to a mattress that was on the firm side.
Good value too.
