Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service - my electric blanket developed a fault and despite being within the warranty period I am still waiting for my replacement to be sent out to me despite sending chasing emails and still no response. So frustrating and disappointing.

Absolutely Wonderful Wool Duvet
I have a light weight wonderful wool and just got the heavy weight wonderful wool. Filled with British wool, these duvets are the best I have ever used.
I had the best nights' sleep and felt refreshed in the morning.

Mmm, where to start
Having spent a considerable amount on the replacement of multiple items (3 duvets, a topper & 2 pillows), i was excited for them to arrive now the cold weather is creeping in.
When they did arrive, poorly packaged as both deliveries had split with items exposed, i noticed that one of the pillows was faulty having not been sewn fully down on side.
I reached out to Slumberdown using the form on the website & received an automated reply stating that they would aim to reply in 48hrs.
10 days later, & despite numerous attempts to chase this up (although with no contact number listed I simply had to continue to use the email addresses that I could find), I have had zero response which I find appalling.
They like to harp on about being a British company blah blah blah but with the poor & basically unacceptable service that I have received, or not in this case, I can understand why people use cheaper alternatives from other overseas suppliers.
What does it take to acknowledge an error, apologise & provide a replacement. It would have all been sorted in a matter of days but no, not this company.
As it stands I will not be giving my money to such a company who treats their customers so poorly.

Poor customer service if the item is faulty
I ordered a 3-in-1 duvet (10.5 tog and 4.5 tog) direct from the Slumberdown website. The quilt(s) arrived promptly but when I went to use it (Wednesday evening) I noticed that part of the material on the edge of the 10.5 tog duvet had not been caught in the stitching (meaning there was a hole at the edge of the quilt and the material was frayed).
I emailed customer services (on a Thursday) and attached a photo of the fault. The auto reply advised they would aim to respond within 48 hours.
On Monday I received a response asking me to send photos of the fault and back and front of the duvet label. I responded (with the required photos)at 17:02 on the same day.
I have yet to receive a response to my last email (it's now 12:30 Thursday).
The duvet was a purchase for my very elderly mother who is struggling to keep warm in bed so I am about to get my sewing machine out and repair the duvet to try and sort things out for her.
I am disappointed by Slumberdown customer service. Had I purchased the item from Amazon this matter would have been resolved within 48 hours.
Lesson learned!

Great Winter Warmers
Wow! I'm so pleased with the products I bought from Slumber down. The whole ordering process was quick and easy,they had a special discount on products for Winter and I received them the next day!
I ordered the extra deep mattress topper which has made my bed super comfy and also the 100% sheep's wool duvet which is a game changer when it comes to cosy nights.
Would definitely recommend if you too want a great night's sleep.

Great duvets, but let down by slow customer support if anything goes wrong.
EDIT - After placing a second order I'm afraid I have to adjust the previously five star review below down. We ordered another duvet in a lighter tog as, since the nights were warmer than expected the 13.5 tog was proving too much. We ordered on 27th November (two and a half weeks ago). The delivery arrived on 30th November, well within the 3-5 day (exc. Sun & hols) estimate... Except what arrived was a pack of two pillows. With two address labels, one for a random stranger. This in itself is just a mistake, an annoying one, but it happens. However, I emailed the company using their contact form on 30th November (which said it had submitted correctly) and still haven't heard back from them now on 14th December, 10 working days later, meaning we're still missing our order. I understand this may be a busy time of year for duvet sales (I work in a small company in customer support, so I can definity understand the struggle of longer response times at certain periods!) but this is an unacceptable amount of time to be waiting for just a reply when I've not received my item at all. The price has even dropped by a small amount since I ordered!
I didn't want to add to the backlog if I could help it so I messaged on Facebook instead, twice during this time, and both times was given an apology and told it would be passed on. But still I'd heard nothing so in fear my original email had actually been lost or not gone through, I emailed again on the 10th. I still haven't had anything except an auto reply saying they have an extended response time right now of 5 working days due to high demand, but it will have been more than double that when I eventually, hopefully, get a reply!
It's a shame as the duvets are good and it's nice to buy directly to support a small business. But I'd be hesitant to do so again on the off chance I do have a problem with my order.

We already had a Slumberdown summer duvet, ordered via a popular retailer, which we really liked - just the right weight and temperature for the summer months, didn't need to go down to just a sheet on hot nights any more! When we wanted to get a winter one too, the other retailer was out of stock, so we bought from Slumberdown directly and I'd definitely recommend! The price was better direct than the standard price in the other shop, and delivery was quick and easy. Happy with the quality of this duvet too, nice and cosy but not over hot and very comfy and fluffy. We'd definitely buy direct from Slumberdown again in the future.
