Would give -100 stars, but you know how it goes

I ordered my items in September, so I see, by reading all these comments, that expecting delivery is a forlorn hope . They have promised, on the phone first, and then in one email, that they would let me know when the light fittings would be sent. They didn't and after that, they did not even reply to my emails. I have now ordered a similar product in England, and will just forget the 140.16 Euros I paid them. Not that I can afford it. As the company is Italian, I don't think there is much one can do. I never expected them to be so utterly unreliable

Disgraceful company.

Update.
Following a telephone call in August insisting my order would arrive within a week, it hasn’t and we’re now at the end of October. I’ve had no further contact from this dreadful company. I will be emailing them again to insist on a refund.
Once again, please don’t order from this company. I will update this review if and when I have receive my refund.

Ordered a table lamp at the beginning of June (order 500000342), received an order confirmation on the same day but since then have heard nothing despite emailing them several times. Disgraceful customer service, have to agree with other reviewers that this company is a scam. Will take the matter further with my credit card company. Please do not order from this company.

Hello, unfortunately we have shipped to the UK but it was returned (damaged) to us by blocking it at customs. Now there are really big problems for the UK. We re-ordered the order from the supplier who reopened on August 30th from the holidays. It is understandable that she is angry, if she wants we can do the refund immediately. Let us know how to proceed.

Stressful online shopping experience

I placed an order on February 28th, 2021, for the amount of 1218€. Unfortunately, to this day - August 25th, I didn't receive two of the items that amount to 174€. I called Smartissima back in May to have an update on my order; I was informed that one of the products is unavailable and that I will be reimbursed. I didn't receive any refund to date. I am trying for days to reach them by phone; the voicemail informs the caller that they are closed for vacation, then that they are busy and finally that they will answer the phone on a different day.
Finally, it took this comment on Trustpilot for them to reach me by phone, apologize and reimburse me on August 26th. So, from the moment I placed the order, the entire shopping experience took eight months, and Smartissima gave no updates on the order's status unless I called in May.

Poor! Ordered two lights in January 2021, one arrived another one not. Every time I contact they say item is ready to be dispatched but I still haven’t received 18/8 and no refund. Please avoid this company.

Do not buy on this website! They are unprofessional and they want just to steal your money.

I bought a Kartell lamp on the 2nd of March and I'm still waiting for it to arrive - I've also asked for a refund numerous times. Those rare times I had the chance to talk to them, I could hear screams in the background that the poor girl over the phone was embarrassed about. I'll wait another week, after which I'll take other measures if my case is not solved. I won't certainly stop at a review.

SCAM!!!!

I made an order on the smartissima.it at 30/01/2021 and have been waiting for it for the last 4,5 MONTHS!

After several emails let me know that my order (ordine #100005073) was delayed I haven’t received my order yet nor have they given me a full refund as l requested!

Will never buy from them again!

Ich habe eine Lampe bestellt und habe diese nie erhalten. Warte jetzt schon länger als 6 Monate! Die Standardantwort von den sieht ungefähr so aus:

"we inform you that the goods are ready, so as soon as they give us the tracking number, we send it to you, don't worry"

"Your lamp will be shipped tomorrow by TNT courier and in the evening I will send you the tracking number"

"we inform you that your order is ready and will be shipped by the end of the current week and we will send you the tracking number."

"we inform you that by Monday we will provide you with updates regarding the actual delivery date."

Ich habe nie eine Trackingnummer oder ein Datum erhalten, wann die Lampe geliefert werden soll.

Mi consejo: no compres.

Update:
I would like to update my comment, and now in another language, to make it more universal. More explicitly:

First: they should not offer a product in the web they don’t really have.

Second: I did not receive absolutely any confirmation of my request at the time of proceeding with the payment; this is something that should be done automatically. I had to send an email to smartissima to have some degree of certainty that my request and my money have landed to somewhere.

Third: more than two months later I am informed that the product is not anymore on stock.

I have wasted my time and my energy with smartissima with regards to a product that could have been bought in any other place.

I have to say that I will not trust in smartissima anymore.

Bad customer service and delivery times not specified anywhere

Ordered a lamp on the 1st of February. They not replying to emails and rarely on the phone. Every time they answer to the phone they say item is shipping and they will call me back with further info - they never do that.
I understand there is a pandemic going on and products might be delayed but this is unacceptable. Bought the item thinking it would be readily available since nothing was written on the product page.

A fake shop, liars, don't order from here

I ordered a lampe more than 2 months ago, never received it till now, everytime they said "send next Monday" since March, but always no news at all every Monday, they are definitely thieves and liars, untrustful website, a fake shop from South of Italy I guess, I will call the police. And stop lying again and again, don't pretend like you have something to send me, you never send anything since March. I call the french police and I will visit Milano in May, I will definitely inform the Italian police.

Good service, some confusion in the initial communication, but quickly sorted out. Takes a little long (maybe on the EU / UK border) but arrived as promised. Looks superb solid quality, works well for a few weeks now. Make sure you have the correct fittings for your plumbing.

No Lamps, 2 months for refund

I have ordered two lamps in December. After I called many times and wrote Smartissima several times, they said they cant deliver them (in February). I then asked for my money back. It took them then 2 months to do the refund (I had to ask multiple times for it).

The sales offices was very friendly but always told me, that the admin office would take of it.

They reply that they are solving the problem and then do not allow affected customers to write below their response. They are completely liars .. If you were a serious company you should communicate privately and process the corresponding return.

Complete crooks!

We ended up going to this company based upon the recommendation of Leucos Lights as their online retailer We contacted them and they quickly provided an offer for the lights but that was only the beginning of the nightmare. After three months, no update on our order as the company constantly lied about getting the order from the factory "next week" constantly. After three months, we took matters into our own hands and contacted the manufacturer who intervened on our behalf. Suddenly a week later with lots of apologies our order was ready for shipment. However the story did not end there. We had clearly paid them for customs taxes and formalities to our country. We got a nice surprise from TNT a month later where we were charged us the customs costs. In order words, they lied and pocketed the money.
DO NOT USE THESE CROOKS!

April 21st, 2021: After intervention by the Leucos, the manufacturer, Smartissima, has refunded the disputed amount.
