They are awful to not work for them

They are awful to not work for them! The CEO is a complete jerk and he is discriminating are use a wheelchair and I am a single mother and he Banned me from working from home after I did everything including buying a computer headset dial pad put in a land line paid for the class who I wanted to be an agent for I get an email from SmartSelect stating that I can’t work for them and they have my account number for direct deposit and ssn because of a background check. I got treated so bad.

Tried to cancel an imac ordered through…

Tried to cancel an imac ordered through Wowcher but it had "already been dispatched", interestingly I had not received that update until I informed Wowcher of my intent. I was told by Katie at Smart IT (or is Tech Market??) to "refuse delivery". However it was delivered to a neighbour without my permission. On unpacking to find the return form I discovered a cracked screen (covering 1/4 of the length) so I have returned it on the grounds it is not usable. Will keep you posted on the outcome.

Fuming!!!!!

Absolutely ridiculous of a company, if that's what they even are!!!
I'm fuming, wish I looked at the reviews first.
I recently bought an apple computer through Wowcher a few weeks ago. It was faulty and not working properly, got the email to send it back for a refund. Posted it back 2 weeks ago!! Still nothing! Email, after email asking where my refund is. Nothing back! Guess I can kiss my £154.99 goodbye, won't ever be shopping with Wowcher or that crap company again!

Please ignore the odd good review...

They're clearly lying and are being posted either by the crooks themselves selling these horrendously bad products or their friends! Their offers via Wowcher appear to be a bargain but in reality they are ripping you off and you'll spend ages trying to get a refund. Luckily I paid via PayPal who don't mess about!!! Very inconvenient... you have been warned!!!

*Update* Following a check with Companies House, they have now changed their name to Tech Market (probably due to all of these horrendous reviews) and are continuing to trade by offering the same deals through Wowcher. Please don't get caught out!

Wish I’d of read all these reviews…

NO STARS!
Wish I’d of read all these reviews before ordering. Ordered 3 refurbished MacBooks at the beginning of March for my children’s birthdays, one wouldn’t even turn on, charger had fallen apart and plug was bent, one has a cracked screen and the other has no camera connected. All three were faulty and unacceptable. Also over a week late. I have no money to buy anything else for my children, their birthdays have been and gone and I still have no replacement or refund. Contacted wowcher again this morning for a refund. They are going to be back in touch.. which is also a lengthy process. I would steer well clear from wowcher and smart it tech. Disgusting that they think it’s acceptable to rip people off like this.

Absolute NIGHTMARE!

Absolute NIGHTMARE!!
Never ever buy from this company.
Ordered 6am Monday morning, double checked delivery date to make sure I would receive in time.
Was tol 5 working days, then 2 days later was told it wouldnt be dispatched for another 4 working days.
I then requested to cancel the order and a refund.
took 4 days to respond to my request and then another 6 hours to tell me they cant because its already been dispatched.

Company is currently under investigation with trading standards, has no contact number, website is a template with no writing completed on there

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Read the reviews too late
I have decided to read reviews because my Apple Mac still hasn’t arrived. After being told it was going to turn up Friday, I stayed in all day. Then I get an email too late to say Wednesday is my new delivery day, which has now passed also!
After reading the reviews I have no hope for it to be here in the near future and once it’s here I’ll have nothing but problems.
The emails I’ve sent to customer service also haven’t been replied to.

Don’t even deserve one star! Crooks!

These guys are con men and wowcher clearly know this! I brought a refurbed chromebook and it came 4 weeks late. The battery don’t hold charge, it had been re covered with silver film and ‘cut’ out around branding. The dents and scratches and overall cosmetics are appalling, how anyone could think this is ok is beyond me! Parts were even coloured in with biro!!! Katie @ customer services is useless, I’m reluctant to return as no one seems to get their money back! I have reported to reading standards. AVOID this company!

Would rather give zero. Conned big time - lost £400

Would rather give zero Am absolutely heartbroken... bought 2 refurbished macs through wowcher for Christmas presents for my children, literally every penny we'd saved & they were late turning up (ordered Nov received 21st Dec & didn't take long after Christmas to see how faulty they were. Gutted but ok, responded to emails saying I could get full refund for both but had to pay own return postage (£30 recorded delivery) they signed for and received them 3 weeks ago but have not answered a single email. No presents for kids PLUS £400 out of pocket with no money for anything else for them. So so gutted and feel stupid for thinking it was a good idea! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS BUSINESS & AVOID WOWCHER TOO! This is the 2nd dodgy business I've had to deal with through them even though there have clearly been multiple complaints (searched reviews too late) & they allow these bad business to continue using their site!!

Deal with these guys at your peril.We bought a Mac as a Christmas present for our student daughter,it was completely un-usable from the second that she opened what was supposed to be a great surprise, instead it has turned into a complete nightmare.
Completely ignored any and all of my communications until I got Paypal involved and then they supplied Paypal with information which was completely fictitious in order that the complaint was denied.
I now have my legal team chasing them under the sale of goods act.
AT LAST A RESPONSE!!!!! that I claimed for an item not received, Paypal confirm that the claim was for an item not as described.
Not only do these guys deny their obligations of customer service but try to discredit the customer at the same time.
The only comment that I have is that they know how to play the system.I warn you----DEAL WITH THESE GUYS AT YOUR PERIL.

PayPal is one platform in the world that has the most reliable record for customers and they always favour the customer when they are right. The case you have opened on PayPal was that you never received the item and we have provided them with the tracking code, your signature and proof of delivery from our courier company which is why they did not refund you.You can check this with the legal team.

AVOID IT SMART LIKE THE PLAGUE.
I ordered a pad from this Co. via Go Groupie, which I must say were fine.My pad did not even turn up although I was sent a tracker no.from Royal Mail. This was Dec.6th. Nothing ever turned up not even an apology. The good thing was I did at least get my money back, but not until I threatened them with legal action and going to the council. My money was returned about mid January. I must say take notice of trustpilot,s star system.But you ordered your goods from Go Groopie and it is them that are responsible.

refund

So I finally received my refund from gogroopie. By law and in the small print they have to give you a refund if your item is not received through no fault of your own within 30 days. But you have to relentlessly email them.
Smart it is not fit to trade and should not be on these websites. Report them to trading standards if you dealt directly. The more people that complain will hopefully mean something will be done.

Not even close right now to 1 star. I received a substandard item which I may add was late and was a Xmas gift. It was so awful I couldn't even give it as a gift. Happy for me to send item back at cost to myself and are now ignoring my emails for a refund. No other way to contact them as no number given. If anyone has had any luck with a refund can they tell me how.
