We recently sold our 2 year old vehicle to SMR Direct. The initial phone call was made on a Thursday and within a week the transaction was completed. Not having sold a vehicle online before, we were a little nervous and concerned about potential scammers, however this company is one that you can trust and were thoroughly helpful at every stage of the process. Andy and Chris were trustworthy and helpful and we received a fair price for our vehicle. We will certainly recommend them to our friends should they be looking to sell a vehicle.

I think we are all a little concerned when contacted by car dealers when selling a car. Will they act professionally, will they beat you down on price, will they try to find minute issues with your car when they come to collect that will alter their offer?
SMR were superb. They contacted me within a few minutes of my advert going live. We discussed my car in detail and a price was agreed. I was open and frank with them about my vehicle and its condition.
They collected 48 hours later, checked it out and agreed all details. There were no issues and the process to transfer funds was simple and verifiable prior to their departure.
Good communications and their paperwork exemplary. Copy of the finance settlement provided and clearance from HP house.

A very professional service from the first call and emails from Andy and then from meeting Sean in person who inspected my VW Golf R line, once vehicle was Checked, quoted amount was put into my account, paper work signed and car was loaded onto the trailer. Having bought a brand new car, I needed to sell my almost 3 year old Hyundai Ioniq. SMR Direct contacted me 2 weeks into my 3 weeks of advertising on Auto Trader. SMR asked for my best price, which they accepted. The car was collected only 4 days later. I felt I had given a very honest assessment of my car, so following a close inspection, there was no haggling. The paperwork and payment was quickly completed. I very pleased with the speed of the selling process and the team at SMR were very professional and polite.

I advertised my car for sale and was initially sceptical when SMR Direct were first to contact me (along with two other main dealers). Their price they offered was excellent and after checking out their feedback I decided to give them a try.
