Frank and the team were first class - professional, polite, punctual and super helpful. Went beyond expectations when hoisting our new sofa and even removed the packaging and placed the sofa. Highly recommended

Frank and his team brought our sofa into our 2nd floor flat in 2017, and have recently taken it back out when we moved. On both occasions they’ve been professional, careful in their work and there’s been excellent communication. Both occasions required arranging timings around other companies (delivery company and then removal company) and yet this wasn’t an issue, and on both occasions, everything has gone very smoothly. Thank-you!

Frank and his team were great in solving our emergency problem. We purchased a sofa that was not able to fit in the lift, frank and his team managed to disassemble and build back perfectly (with great attention to details). We contacted them around 14 o’clock and in less than 24 hours the emergency was sorted. Strongly reccomended

Frank and Kieran were absolutely amazing. They arrived on time, were friendly and helpful and (importantly!) got everything upstairs in one piece. If I ever need furniture moved again I know exactly who I’m calling!

- two delivery companies had tried (and failed) to get this bed headboard upstairs (this headboard ended up sitting in the living room for a month before I rang sofa assist - they got back to me within the day and after a few photos and some transparent pricing offered an appointment the following day)
- frank and his team were polite; professional and punctual
- they brought their specialist equipment but actually didn’t need it and just got it up the stairs with a few calculations
- they then also kindly assembled the bed
- I have nothing but good things to say about these guys

Frank and team helped with a recent Arlo & Jacob sofa which had difficulty going up to a top-floor flat. Super helpful, professional and a reasonable price given the level of work needed. Would highly recommend!

I couldn't recommend Sofa Assist more! I had hired removal men to move a sofa from one of our rooms to another and within minutes they told me it was impossible to do. After speaking to the sofa company, they recommended that I call Sofa Assist but it was already late in the day on a Friday, so I had little hope.
Luckily Frank picked up and expertly guided the removal men through video call (!) to get the sofa moved. So so grateful for his generosity with his time, good humour and care. I just wish I had got his team out in the first place to do the job!

We moved into a new flat today and we were struggling with our sofas and getting them in the right rooms.
Frank was incredibly helpful by talking to us via FaceTime to help us out of very tight spots. He knew exactly what he was talking about as soon as he saw the sofas over a video call and made our day, after 3 long days of moving, by guiding us to get the sofas in.

I cannot possibly recommend Sofa Assist enough. I had a sofa delivered by DFS and was told there was no way it would fit up my staircase. I called Frank thinking full well that my window railing would need to come off in order to get my sofa in, but Frank and his colleague got it up the staircase the very next morning without trouble and also courteously connected and put the sofa together for me without my asking.

He’s a class act. Do yourself a favour and make sure Sofa Assist are who you call when in need of assistance.

I recently enlisted the help of Sofa Assist to move a particularly large and cumbersome solid oak tabletop (measuring 2.5m x 1m and weighing 60kg) from my hallway to a room upstairs. The challenge of handling such a hefty item without causing any damage to either the item or the interior walls was significant, yet the team approached the task with professionalism and expertise that went above and beyond my expectations.

What stood out to me was their innovative approach and readiness. Although they came equipped with a portable stair lift and were prepared to move the item through a window if necessary, they assessed the situation and opted to navigate the staircase instead.

This decision not only saved time but also mitigated potential risks, showcasing their experience and problem-solving abilities.

The care they took in ensuring my tabletop was not damaged during the move was commendable, and made the entire process stress-free.

I would not hesitate to call on them again in the future.

Hoisted my headboard through a 3rd floor window! Other companies told me it was'nt possible or would need a crane. These guys just used good ol' muscle to hoist it up!

And after all that they put the bed together free of charge!! Amazing guys!

These guys are lifesavers!!! I can not recommend them enough. Thought I was going to have to get rid of my settee as could not fit it into my new place but luckily I found sofa assist online and they were amazing! Fantastic communication and their knowledge is incredible! Thank you so much!!!

I had a fantastic experience with Sofa Assist- could not recommend them more highly. I called and spoke with Frank who walked me through the process and assured me there would be no issue getting our large L-shaped sofa into our house. After sending photos of the furniture and several trouble spots in our narrow hallways and stairs, Frank called me back very promptly and instructed me on various measurements to take on the sofa and of our home. We were able to schedule the team for the very next morning (we had been storing the sofa in a garage) and they arrived very promptly first thing in the morning. They were able to hoist the sofa through our 1st floor window using a ladder and hoist system - though they had to take part of the window frame out in order to achieve this, they put everything back together such that there was barely trace anything had been altered at all (just a few little paint chips here and there). Overall, Frank and the team were exceptionally polite and responsive - I heartily recommend Sofa Assist!
