We went into the Sofa Workshop in Nottingham and spoke with Gillian who was extremely warm, welcoming and helpful.
Gillian took the time to get to know us and understand our needs. She helped us think carefully about the pieces that would suit us, our lifestyle and gave helpful tips on what would go together.
We spent longer in the store than we usually would have done with that kind of service and came away being a lot more insight with what would work for us.
Gillian never pressured us and genuinely seemed to care that we found the set that made us happy which we really appreciated.
She gave us a helpful booklet with a few samples, printouts and quotes to think our options through.
Thanks for all the help Gillian :)

Terrible sofa
Update. I see by your response you think the Whitehead sofa is soft and squishy. If that is the case I suggest you try the sofas you have in your showrooms. We sat on three different ones which were all firm and very different from the rest of your styles and also the Guildford manager was surprised when I first raised my concerns as she always thought the 3 seater sofa came up firmer than the 2 seater
Ordered a Whitehead sofa as we liked the fact that unlike most sofas it was firm and wasn’t just a soft shapeless lump, however on delivery it was so unlike what we had sat on in the showroom and appeared massively under filled. On complaining the totally expected response was “ our expert finds nothing wrong with the sofa” so we are now actively looking for a new sofa to replace the unsuitable one ghat was provided by Sofa Workshop.

Purchased a sofa in mid 2019 and paid extra for better quality material coverings. Extremely disappointed that seat cushion covers have split after less than 3 years and need to be replaced.

In September 2020 the Sofa Workshop brand was sold by it's previous owners, and acquire by Timothy Oulton and the Halo Group, creating a new business, Sofa Workshop by Timothy Oulton.
All customer enquiries for orders placed prior to September 2020 are manage by the previous parent company, as Sofa Workshop by Timothy Oulton produces it's sofa in house, whereas the previous brand worked with a series of independent workshops.
We would love the opportunity to discuss this with you in detail and have the correct team at the previous parent company assist you in rectifying your complaints.

Superb service
The minute we arrived in the shop at Nottingham Gillian had a warm, genuine approach. We discussed what we were looking for and within 10 minutes we found our dream sofa. Gillian was the friendliest most and genuine person I have come across. Without being a typical " sales" person she really helped us find our dream sofa. Giving us all the options of leathers, different sofas and all great at entertaining our 6 year old daughter. A credit to sofa works.
