Sofa Workshop 

Nothing was a problem and Tiana listened and helped in every way she could. She was not too pushy. She just patiently listened with good energy the whole time. It has taken me 4 years to decide what to buy and I was sure about what I wanted.

The lady who helped during my choice of a sofa was patient, helpful and easy to talk to. Nothing was too much trouble ans she took the time too make my choices with the fabric I chose.

We had really attentive service from Deborah from the moment we walked into the shop. Nothing was too much trouble. She had the patience of a saint as we kept changing our minds about whether we would have a corner sofa or 2 large ones. She really listened to what we wanted and made loads of sketches. She was fabulous. The last sofa we purchased was from Sofa Workshop as well and we had it for 20 years and it was still going strong.

Having first visited 12 years ago and seen our dream sofa, we were relieved to see Sofa Workshop still made it. We happened upon a sale which was an added bonus , so two sofas purchased!

As a general rule, I find furniture shopping a bit tedious but our visit to Sofa Workshop on Tuesday was anything but. Gillian at the Nottingham store is so helpful, knowledgeable and has a great sense of humour. Gillian made us drinks; was genuinely interested in us and the space that we’ll be putting our sofa in so that she could make recommendations. She spent so much time showing us different options and different fabrics that it made choosing our sofa very easy. We put our order in the following day. Although I’ve always lived in Nottingham; I’d bever been in Sofa Workshop before. Gillian’s warm welcome and knowledge of the product range means it’ll be my go-to furniture store in future.

I was on a day trip to Bath with the intention of purchasing a piece of furniture. At Sofa Workshop the staff were friendly, warming and inviting. With all chairs being made to order I spent some time considering fabric options and colour ways. Millie the assistant was more than willing to help and aid with my decisions making. She provided me with swatches, I went and had lunch to think about the options and then returned shortly afterwards to place the order. Like with any custom piece of furniture there is a long lead time. Looking forward to getting my chair for spring.

I bought a sofa from Bronwen and she was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. I wouldn't of bought the sofa if it wasn't for her, but I'm so glad I did!

I visited the store at Nottingham and Gillian greeted me with the warmest welcome. It immediately made me feel at ease and I relaxed and just took my time browsing. I did not go in with the intention of buying but saw a beautiful footstool that made into a single bed. Gillian showed me how the bed came out and how easy it was to put away. Then she came over with huge leather samples of how each piece would look on the bed. I instantly fell in love with the footstool/bed and purchased straight away. I was very impressed with how professional and knowledgeable Gillian was, but the main quality was her friendliness and how she made me feel very comfortable. I would have no hesitation in recommending this store and if you do go, seek Gillian out, she can really make your day. Thank you so much.

After looking at the usual stores we were disappointed at the low quality products on offer. We did a search online and found the sofa workshop in Chichester.

The staff were very informative and explained the range on offer; yes it is more expensive but I feel we now have a good quality sofa that will look great and last a longer time.
