The app doesn’t work at all - not once was I able to log in to my account from my cell phone. Even when I access through a desktop I’m unable to make calls!!!

Very good customer service. Advice was clear yet detailed. Prompt and also very transparent about the time it will take to get a response.

What the company does well? Very strict verification to get onboarded, had to submit a ton of documents.
What i liked? The pricing is excellent, can give the competition a run for their money. Also, Sonia the support rep assigned to me was extremely polite and professional even though i lost it a couple of times during verification. She made sure she got the right documents and got me onboarded.
What can improve? The app needs to be advanced for ios devices, its interface is very outdated. Its just been 2 days since i’ve actually started using the service, no complaints so far.

tldr; worst option for solopreneurs or businesses starting out, they'll give you bureaucratic nightmare by requesting submission of insane amount of personal data.

Once I had signed up, put funds into the account, verified my identity through National ID card and bank statements, they had the audacity to lock me out of my account after I barely made 5 phone calls.
Then they asked me to send them A SELFIE OF ME HOLDING NATIONAL CARD, my company registration ID, company website, company documents, write a description on how I plan to use it, etc etc.
THIS IS ABSURD.
I have had easier time opening bank accounts than opening an online account with Sonetel.
I immediately told them to cancel my account and refund everything on top of deleting all the personal data.
If you're a solo entrepreneur or just someone starting out in business, Sonetel will give you hell. More and more of it as time passes by.
If you want to make one phone call a month, go for it. Heck, you can't even do that unless you provide ton of identity documents including your national ID, bank statements, utility bills, personal mobile numbers, etc, totally absurd and disproportionate for a basic paid VOIP service.
