I was looking for a Canadian number which I can use n own from India, finally got to know about Sonetel app. It's amazing, never knew I can own a Canadian virtual number without any sim, and that too in budget. Again customer service is good too. I got reply on my queries quickly. So totally recommend it.

Just wish they can add a guide like any video or pdf on how to use it properly from scratch. It would have saved my time. But you will understand it in 1-2 tries so totally recommend their service.

AI phone support is the only thing makes a horrible experience whenever I have a question/ problem

I initially visited the website, selected a mobile number and completed the payment. After that, things became very confusing.
First, I was told to refill my account again to be eligible for the number. Even after doing that, no number has been assigned. There is also no proper communication. Emails are not being responded to, and there is no clear guidance on verification or next steps.
Another issue is with discount codes. They appear to work initially, but later you are asked to refill the account again, which makes the discount meaningless.
Overall, the process is unclear, frustrating, and not user-friendly. Payment is taken, but service is not activated.
I would advise others to be cautious before using this service until they improve their onboarding and support.

A very frustrating verification process was made less so by Sonia, who worked closely with me to get my verification documents submitted. Her patience and willingness to troubleshoot a submission issue changed my opinion of Sonetel completely - from negative to extremely positive. In a nutshell, Sonia provided excellent customer car.
