They are the best You can use their distributer service for free if you earn some money from them you can also purchase premium distributer service from them or you can easily withdraw that money to your account.

As an independent working composer, I have found Soundtradr the most reliable and A to B user-friendly platform of many that I've tried over the years. I recently had a glitch with organizing my releases and Sophie pitched in and just fixed everything that I needed fixing on the admin side. I've had monthly income and success with monetization on Songtradr that I never had with other portals. Keeps one motivated to carry on. Highly recommended.

I don’t really understand where all of those negative reviews are coming from, especially mentioning people I had the greatest pleasure to interact with. Truth is, if you’re going to be mean, or break rules, don’t expect much. How does everyone think a free service works?

Anyway! I had some ‘issues’ with distribution because I am very OCD about titles, names, and all that. I’m also fairly new to this and had a lot of questions which at some point even annoyed myself, and both Betty and Ralph have not only been extremely prompt (within work hours— of course! different timezones don’t help, but that’s no one’s fault) and extremely helpful and nice. They were patient with my thousands of emails and they both communicated very well. Some people complained about generic responses… you try explaining the same thing a million times a day. Yeah, you’ll copy and paste, too. The information got across effortlessly and I am extremely grateful with how patient and polite they were with my questions when even I wanted to hit myself in the face.

Again!! Guys! This is a free service, for the most part. Read the terms and conditions before you leave a bad review, your lack of attention might end up hurting some people who aren’t at fault.

Rant over: but yes, I would totally recommend them, especially if you’re starting out. Communication is key.

I've used a couple of distributors but what made to be switching was their support team. I will email a support for about a month without any response but when I came across songtradr oh my God I'm 💯% satisfied on both sides (distribution and support team)
1 good thing about songtradr is that you can start with the free plan and later on upgrade to the paid plan when you are satisfied or when you have the money 💵
You can use the free plan as long as you want while keeping your 90% distribution royalties and 60% for your songs sync license

I am very happy with your service. Ever since I started using Songtradr I haven't had any issues, your customer service is awesome. Everything is just making me feel at home. *And I'm only on the free plan... 🤯

Songtradr is a top notch music distribution company.
They may be at a different price range compared to others, but they offer extra services like pitching your work to movies, TV / Radio / Internet commercials / Ads. And very detailed monetization area where you can opt in or out of said services. If you produce a lot, upload and keep on pitching your work. They offer great support for making sure you are protected with your music.

The customer service is great too. You'll have an answer within minutes of your inquiry. The staff is very helpful and detailed. Thank you Sophie, Zak, Betty and the rest of the team at songtrdr.

We recommend songtradr to artists who are just starting (distribution for free) or seasoned ones including Records Labels.

It worked for me! I landed two songs on an app, and the support is excellent. I had an issue with my profile, so I reached out to support and they got back to me the same day, not only that, they fixed my problem for me same time.

I joined Songtradr mid 2020 as a free tier user to try it out. I am pretty happy with this find. Free distro has opened up new worlds for me. Yes, they take a small cut of royalties, but they need to make money somewhere to keep this artist site free to use. And you can submit to sync! So yeah, great! I will eventually upgrade to a paid account, but until then, Im staying.
There is a slight learning curve to uploads and metadata, but, with their really good artist support, it gets done. I have reached out to support numerous times and each time, Betty L., has always been on the spot with helping, or just straight up fixing minor issues I have had. Artists should count themselves lucky there is a site like this. There are other artist sites which really do drain you dry for distro.

RECENTLY LICENSED and RECENTLY UPLOADED is the same in these 3 months I have been a member? It seems that there´s nothing going on on this platform :-(

I joined Songtradr for music distribution. The opportunity for licensing is just an added bonus. I released one single and it went smoothly, with the exception that they didn't distribute it to Pandora right away. It was up on Apple Music, Spotify, etc. on the scheduled release date. I had to reach out to them to make sure it got to Pandora, but they were pretty responsive and it is now awaiting Pandora's curation review.

There's a bit of a learning curve with their song catalog management system, but I've got it down now. The pricing is most excellent for what you get. I switched to Songtradr from another distributor because that company's customer service had devolved to non-existent. At this time, I can say that Songtradr staff get back to me within a day or two, every time I have a question. So that's a relief!
