Very helpful staff - I was emailed an initial estimated value of the vehicle quickly and this was very competitive. Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond all our control, when it came to actually examining the vehicle, unknown faults/damage was found - however, deductions were made for this which were reasonable. The final offer was still very good considering the discovered faults. The staff who examined the vehicle knew their stuff, were very friendly and well presented. Payment was made very quickly and from agreement of final price to receipt of funds was literally 5 minutes, and nothing was handed over until the payment into my bank had been verified. I would definitely recommend this firm.

Car details and condition assessed by Southern Car Buyer over the phone. Valuation received within hours by return call. Once valuation accepted, collection date and time was arranged. Day before collection, received call to confirm car is ready and confirmed time. On the day, the car was checked over and taken for a test drive. The quoted price was transferred into my account before the car was taken away. All in all, a very smooth, quick and fair valuation received. Everyone involved were helpful, polite and professional. I approached Southern Car Buyers after a very bad experience with wewantyourcar.com who were a complete cowboy outfit.
What a difference with SCB, from the very first contact to the lovely man who collected my car it was honesty and professionalism all the way. The agreed price was paid into my account before the car was taken, no quibbling over the price and no charges to pay. Very different from other online car buyers.
I cannot recommend this company highly enough and wouldn't hesitate to use them again. Don't waste your time with other online buyers who agree a high price but never actually pay it!

Millie was extremely friendly as was Carl who collected the vehicle. The door to door service is very handy and efficient. The only disappointment was that I was given a guaranteed price over the phone, which was not honoured when completing the transaction. £ 300 was negotiated off due to small marks on the car.

After being hassled to change my appointment with WWAC I read a review suggesting Southern Car Buyers. So glad I chose them, Millie was really helpful and polite. Within a couple of hours I received my value and was very happy to accept it. Carl arrived on the chosen day, conducted a brief inspection of my car and 20 minutes later the money was in my account. A really smooth procedure, would use them again.

I was telephoned after completing details on web site by a very courteous lady who requested further details of the car I wished to sell. We negotiated a favourable price to me and the car was inspected at my home that afternoon with the money transferred to my bank account before the car was taken away on a low loader. All completed within four hours of the telephone call to me.

I don’t normally write reviews, but having just sold my car, I was so pleased with the service and professionalism I received, that I felt I should share my experience.
I had been trying to sell my Mercedes privately for some time but was getting silly offers once the people were turning up to view the car so I decided to try Southern Car Buyers as I had read some good reviews on them.
I filled in the details of my car online then received a call from one of their team and I went into more detail about the car and tried to be as accurate as I could. They called me back with an offer based on what I had told them to which I was really pleased with! We arranged a time for them to come and collect it. When they arrived, they checked the car over to make sure it was as I'd described and within the next hour, I had the money transferred there and then into my bank. It was so easy and will definitely use them again in the future!

Like a lot of people when selling a car I was a bit sceptical about using an on line "We will buy your car" site. However having read some reviews about Southern Car Buyers, I thought give it a go as I can always say no if not happy.
Well what a pleasant surprise the people who dealt with my initial query were very positive and the offer I received I was happy with, subject to an inspection.
A very pleasant guy came with a pick up trailer on a time agreed, he inspected the car, gave his office a call, and within 10 minutes the money was in my bank account, a very easy transaction no hassle or trying to reduce the price.
I would most certainly recommend, and deal with again.

I had never used a car buying company before and was sceptical to do so as I had been told that you will get promised one thing but then receive another, this was not the case with Southern Car Buyers. I needed to sell me car quickly so this was the easiest way for me, they explained everything in full and didn't make me feel like I was being rushed or pressured in to accepting their offer, they were true to their quote and super friendly. I would recommend these guys to anyone looking to sell their car hassle free!
