I wanted to purchase a new baritone ukulele,and take a step up from what I had. After searching for some time I was impressed with the flight aurora ,but wanted to be sure I was making the right move. I contacted Southern ukulele store and discussed with them what I wanted. They were very helpful and knowledgeable about the flight aurora. Following our discussion I ordered the ukulele. It arrived early and I was able to track its delivery. I could not wait to open it up ,and when I did I was not disappointed. This ukulele looks fantastic. The experience did not end there playing this instrument is a pure delight , and it sound great. I am extremely pleased with the ukulele,and the service I received from Southern ukulele store. Thank you.

Excellent service, and the ukulele was even better than the demo suggested. This the fourth time I've bought off them and if my wife will let me I could be buying again!

I haven’t had the opportunity or pleasure to visit the Southern Ukulele Store, I browsed their wonderful website and bought The Rebel, crème Brulée, mango concert ukulele on-line without even holding or playing it. I thought it might be amazing because Southern ukulele store said it was going to be. You can completely trust them, for their knowledge, expertise, enthusiasm, and their love of music the ukulele brings, they are second to none.
But guys I wasn’t prepared when I strummed those string for the first time, I think you may have understated it, for this Ukulele is a masterpiece, maybe it is the slimline body, it feels and sounds incredible. The price I paid is not relevant now for it has become priceless, for it is going to make me smile every day from now on, our TV scenes once advertised a soft drink and said “I’ve been Tangoed” I think I have been Mangoed.

Just received my Magic Fluke Timber Bass and I’m so pleased. I left my details with SUS in January so that they could let me know when a delivery was due from the US. I duly got an email to say that the fretless bass was on its way. I specified the flatwound strings and they were fitted for me. It all took less than 5 days and the delivery DPD was efficient and quick.

I visited the store to upgrade to a tenor ukulele. I was offered several choices by Phil who patiently explained the pros and cons of each ukulele without any sales pressure. I am delighted with my final choice and pleased that I visited the store to make my purchase.

I bought a Flight Carabao baritone ukulele from Southern Ukulele Store and am really please with it. The quality of the instrument is first class and the service was also top notch. It was a pleasure to speak to Alex after following SUS on Youtube for a while.

Visited this shop of delights to buy another ukulele. Fantastic personal service, this time with Romeo, who had great advice and full of information off the top of his head.
Not only that, but I bought a uke easily within my budget. No ripping off here!

The best uke shop in europe - I am from Poland and i would not dare to buy any high end instrument elsewhere!

Awsome reviews (love you tube ones) and stunning descriptions, they use only their own pictures, real life ones, ones of excatly the uke you are buing.
And they are jus simply nice and really helpful - can even play some ukes just for you to make picking the right one easier. Online 101 meeting also possible. Just a nreat contact. Not just email, but they even called me in Poland to say that uke i wanted is there and share what are their toughts about particular models. Shipping abroad, even with all the ue paper work - no problem. I have never felt while making a purchase like talking with mates, who really cares for me to get the piece that i would fall in love playing at, and just even looking at - and they did.

Visited store with a view to try some ukulele basses, normally play 5 string electric and acoustic bass so a bit of a change. Very impressed with the guy's knowledge, giving me the pros and cons on each bass I tried and the different playing techniques to get the best sound. Easy going experience with no selling pressure knowing I had no intention to buy on the day.

Rob and Alex are true music and ukulele enthusiasts. They are good advice. Always listening and ready to guide us. The ukuleles they sell are of very good quality.

I’ve just purchased a concert ukulele from Southern Ukulele and I absolutely LOVE IT! It has a beautifully mellow tone (solid mahogany top and low G string). I phoned the store on Friday afternoon and received excellent advice about the most suitable instrument for my requirements in my price range. I felt theperson I spoke to was very knowledgeable and honest. I was delighted when my lovely new Uke arrived safely first thing this morning (Tuesday). What excellent and efficient service all round 😁. I would THOROUGHLY recommend Southern Ukulele Store.

Ordered a Tenor Ukulele, however it had a defect when on the workbench and I was called and offered a slightly more expensive but similar Ukulele (at no cost to myself) - I was called again another day to advise me on Low-G string choices, and that I was still happy with the swap.

They genuinely went above and beyond and provided way more consideration/advice than I'd ever expect, especially as I was ordering an entry-level Ukulele, not even anything pricey! Would definitely recommend and wouldn't have any worries approaching them if I did ever have an issue.

This a really well set up ukulele that sounds great. Real value for money. SUS are the best as far as I am concerned.

The shop has a useful website, handy advice is freely available. from staff who are themselves excellent musicians, service is good and purchased items are securely packed and delivered quickly using reliable carriers. My recent purchase of a ukulele took only 2 days from order to delivery, this just days before Xmas, I was told about the possibility of blemishes on the finish of this particular model, but found none worth mentioning, the instrument is handsome in its lack of fancy decoration, has a lovely wood grain, and useful features like bridge pegs which make for easy string replacement, the neck is slightly wider than most and comfortably shaped. Yes this is a quality but affordable instrument with lovely sound qualities, at somewhat less than £200. What is this lovely instrument, it is a Super Tenor Islander by Kanile’a

Ordered a new ukulele on a Wednesday morning to which it needed a strap button and converted to Left hand, to my amazement the next morning a delivery driver knocked on my door with my purchase this is second to none customer service and shows the excellent attention to customer care that southern Ukulele store build there reputation on.

I purchased a new uke on line on Monday afternoon at 1330hrs. It was delivered to my door in Norfolk at 1310 the next day! Packaged so well to avoid damage, and the uke obviously checked over and set up.
My 4th uke from this brilliant company. They are so knowledgable , friendly and a pleasure to deal with. If only all retail shops were this good.
