If you want to make fast transactions and have an up-to-date overview of your online bank balance, this is not the right bank for you, I’d recommend going to a bigger, well-known bank.

Sparda Bank is incredibly slow, as they only have 11!! banks in all of germany where they literally manually accept every transaction, which makes things take forever to go in and out of your bank account, and on top of that they don’t even work on the weekends.
As someone like me who makes a lot of transaction, and also big transactions, it takes way too long to have an overview of how much money you actually have on your account, since it takes days to see how much money you have left.

If I could give this bank zero points or even minus I would. Their online banking service is the worst I have ever encountered- software terrible. I mean terrible.

This bank used to be good but has now turned on its customers. The free banking has gone and now there are charges for everything for example just having the account and for the ec card and credit card. The TEO app is the last straw. They have switched now off the old online banking software which worked perfectly and now force all customers to use the TEO app which has an annoying ad filled interface, less functionality and lower data security. It is no longer possible to make international payments at all and the helpline can provide no help with this issue other than advising me to use the old online banking (which is impossible because it has been switched off). I guess they are relying on it being complex and annoying to change accounts. If you are thinking of signing up to this bank I would advise against it.
