Absolutely first class in all respects! We've been using Specs By-post for years and every pair has been perfect - & remarkably economic! Linsey is very knowledgeable & can advise on the best choice of frame to fit one's requirements - never based on suggesting a dearer one (no opticians would keep her!!) - & can arrange the lens prescription to suit various needs, eg. using a computer, sewing & reading at a comfortable distance. Specs By-post has a comprehensive stock of frames from designer ones & trendy ones to equally good looking basic ones, all having excellent photos from all angles & precise measurements on their website.
Invariably next-day delivery too!

For many years now, whenever my husband and I need new specs we always use Specs-by-Post. We recently had two frames reglazed. Their service as usual, fronted by the amazing Linsey, continues to be very financially reasonable, polite, honest, professional, fast and efficient. Nothing is too much trouble. So grateful to have found this great company.

I have been using Specs-By-Post for several years now for all my reglazing needs. I wouldn't use anyone else. So quick and easy and CHEAP! From reading glasses to prescription sunglasses, always great speedy service and super communication. Simply excellent, can't rate them highly enough.

I first contacted s b p because my prescription from the optician was pretty illegible, but within ten minutes I received an email from Linsey with the correct figures, enabling me to make an order straight away on Thursday morning. My order was acknowledged immediately, and I hoped that within a week I might hear something. However, on the following day, I received an email saying the glasses had been despatched, and they arrived on Saturday morning, just 48 hours after placing the order. The glasses are excellent quality, vision is sharp so correctly made, and I could not be more pleased. For two pairs, distance and reading, thin lenses and postage, I paid just £80.00, compared to the local optician, who quoted over £200 for one pair, with frames on top of that! I recommend this company highly, have used them before, and will continue to do so.

I can't rate highly enough Specs-By-Post. I have been using them for years. I have ordered reading, distance, varifocals, reactions all for myself or my family and never had a problem. Their customer service is the best! Linsey is brilliant and keeps you informed at every stage. I sent off glasses on Tuesday this week, they received them Wednesday and I have received them back today Friday all perfect. Thanks again!

This company is amazing everything from service to cost there is nothing I could fault them for. Have been going back to them for years and definitely wouldn’t go any where else

I have used this company since 2010 and I've never had one issue. I have sent extremely expensive frames to be reglazed many many times and they have always come back exactly how I have sent them. They are such good value for money, prompt, trustworthy and I would never use any other company to reglaze my glasses.

After an expensive interlude of some years during which I patronised only local opticians I am so happy to have returned to specs-by-post. I recently made my own researched decision to move away from expensive vari-focal recommendations and chose instead to 'downgrade' lenses to bi-focal, far/intermediate distance. My new spectacles and lenses are just fine and I've saved £'00s - many thanks sbs!

My 3 pairs of re-glazed glasses arrived Saturday. Only sent 2nd class on Monday. Service was fantastic. I’d 3 pairs of glasses I love and specsavers wanted £39 to re-glaze each pair. Was very wary of sending them but so glad I did. Was kept updated by email. Can’t fault them at all.

Best service and Best value for money I have ever had in 45 years of wearing optical lenses. Their sharp pricing means we now buy new frames for fun because popping prescription lenses in doesn't break the bank. Fast turn-around and great communication with Linsey and the team mean this is a five-star business Im happy to recommend.

Absolutely amazing service. I regret not writing reviews earlier. I ordered a third pair of glasses from them and yet again they surprised me with fantastic quality, great prices and speedy service. Have used Specs-by-post for many years. Top quality frames and lenses at unbeatable prices. Recently purchased a pair of ultra light transitional varifocals in a modern plastic frame.
