ALL GOOD UP TO NOW, NO PROBLM.

Used company for the first time and found them very good.

Easy to complete form, clear and concise questions easy to answer and excellent value for money. Can't comment on using insurance and hope i won't need to either but buying was straightforward and very clear and easy.

Very satisfied with the service on the telephone. Renewed insurance and completed the medical declaration easily and the price was good compaired to other companies. I haven't had to use the company for any claim so cannot comment on this.

Renewed annual policy, but its not a straight forward process.
While policy details were shown correctly for the old policy, medical screening was not passed through to the new quote and entering exactly the same details, was not straight forward due to confusing terminology used to go from one stage to another. The increase in the price, following screening, was not welcomed. If I had known that before, I may have gone to another insurance company.

I had to get travel ins quickly and Spectrum Travel was simple to use and fast to respond. It’s the second time I have used Spectrum and no doubt will use them again.

I felt the annual policy review on the phone was more aimed at extracting a greater fee from me than in providing me with a good travel policy - my fee of £270 from last year was increased to £340 this year. That's a 30% increase in one year and I felt the reviewer was quite pleased with themselves in achieving that exorbitant increase. And that was after a full year without me making a single claim.

Prompt, efficient service.

Made a claim 10 months ago and they still have not paid . I have sent numerous emails and made many phone calls but get no reply, i even had one employee put phone down on me. I have filled in the claim form more than 5 or 6 times because they keep ' losing it'. They are selling insurance but have no intention of paying out. Its an absolute disgrace that they can get away with it. Do not purchase from this company they will not pay out if you make a claim.

Update:It is now december, nearly a full year since claim was made and they still have not paid. Apparently my claim was in "audit" in october and ive heard nothing since. Hospital has contacted me to say that the insurer will not speak to them via telephone and have not responded to emails.

Excellent system to work through online. The medical screening easy to use and efficient.
Very pleased with how quick and easy system was to use

Initial problem with online medical details which raised the original quote. Emailed to cancel but they managed to give a discount on basic cover which brought the price down to original quote so continued the purchase. Pleasant staff who explained fully the charges. Acceptable price for good cover.

I searched high and low for the best deal on travel insurance with medical conditions, and Spectrum Travel Insurance beats them all by a mile. This is my go-to Travel insurance from now on.
