Yup. It's all true.

And now, in the continuing saga.... Yup. Every one is right about this company. Let me share this with you. My plan with this company was not expensive. That's why I chose them. All was working fine for about three years. But just at the end of 2023, in December, my voicemail stopped receiving messages. I didn't know this until my family contacted me that my oncologist, yes, ONCOLOGIST, were desperately trying to contact me by leaving voicemail messages, only to get "The subscriber you are trying to reach is no longer in service". Or, "This facility is not available to this subscriber". They finally called my family. SpeedTalk Mobile NEVER alerted me in any way that my voice mail would stop. Apparently, according to the three different customer service agents I spoke to and trying to find out what was going on, I was tersely informed "sir, the plan does not carry voice mail". I explained that it always did since I first purchased it three years ago. Again. "Sir, the plan does not carry voice mail". Then the agent said that "they" would "reset" the network. Ok. I waited about one hour. Guess what? Now my phone wouldn't receive ANY incoming calls! WOW. Great fix. I let them know through the emails they kept sending telling me about the corrective measures that were taken. I told them again on there customer service line what had happened. Then began what I recognized as a script, where I could choose a new plan. I stopped the agent and put it simply. Your company NEVER informed me in ANY way that my voice mail service was ending. And now your fix has killed my phone number. And I made it clear that it came at a very bad time. The response? "We're so sorry about you situation sir. What plan would you like"? Uh! Alright. I asked for a new dirt cheap plan. As long as it had voice mail. I was told that a new SIM card would be sent as soon as the payment was made. And that the current plan that had just been charged would be immediately terminated and I would be fully refunded. This never happened on both items. Ok. I think the point is now clear to you who have already read the other reviews about this company. But there is what I think something that is important to note. SpeedTalk Mobile is supposedly based in Los Angeles California. There is an address for it. But it's a PO box number. When one is connected to their customer service, it connects to the sub-continent. India. Now. Don't get your hackles all raised up in a knee jerk political correctness reaction. That actually happens with lots of companies. It's just business. This is my point. The way I was treated, by every customer service agent of this company, being casually dismissed and then pressured into making a purchase, shows a very different approach and attitude regarding customer service. One that I have never experienced with US based phone carriers. And no. I'm not waiving a patriotic flag here. I'll leave this up to you the reader. The bottom line. This company is definitely suspicious and not trustworthy. I'm going to file an ic3.gov fraud complaint. It's the best way to get an official agency (FBI) to take a close look at this untrustworthy and notorious company. And I apologize to Trust Pilot and the community if I have offended or violated rules. I truly am conscientious of these things. But what happened to me by this company could have ended badly. VERY BADLY. Had it not been for my caring family and attentive and dedicated VA Docters. And now, the people of The Good Earth need to know this. Stay away from SpeedTalk Mobile. It is NOT worth it.

Stole my money!

Not only is the service terrible, but they steal your money. When you leave, they refuse to refund the money you have in your "mobile wallet" to automatically pay for any overages. If you do make the mistake of going with this service, avoid putting money in the mobile wallet - you won't get it back.

DIFFICULT TO CANCEL

I bought this data plan for my smartwatch. After a few months the payments went up three times the amount! When I called customer service to cancel, they told to go to the website. Well, the website has a glitch that you have to prove you're not a robot by entering in a special character; however it won't let you put in the character, which means you can't process the request! I don't like when companies make it too easy to get you in, but extremely difficult to let you out! JUST CANCEL the contract and have integrity about allowing people to cancel, instead of using glitches to keep us from cancelling!!!!

Absolute garbage

Absolute garbage. Beware, if you are trying to cancel your auto-renew, do it before 6 days before your plan should expire as they charge you for the next month anyway and will not under any reason, issue a refund, even if you talk to their supervisors. Do not use this company when there are so many others to choose from.

Keep charging after cancelation

I called to disconnect the account with Speed Talk in 2022. They kept debiting my credit card. Unfortunately I don't use that acc so often and I saw this year in February 2023 that they kept charging me, I called for the second time to cancel, one lady guided me to cancel it online, i just checked my bank account and they still charging me nov 2023. I just called again to cancel for the third time, and a guy guided me to cancel the plan online, and he told me in February I use the wrong option(which was their own agent that guided me wrong) Now they are saying that I can't qualify for a refund. In my opinion they are dishonest. Don't fall for it.

Impossible to cancel service

We bought a SpeedTalk sim in Hawaii when we arrived from Australia. We then connected the sim as we wanted to use while on holiday. We chose a no contract plan.
However, we did not realise until we returned home that Speedtslk continue to charge monthly on our credit card. We have been trying to cancel the sim with them for over a month, all the time being charged more per month than the original amount we agreed to pay.
They have made it almost impossible to cancel the sim and the monthly fee charged. So we cancelled our credit card to try to stop the charges, but we are still having trouble!!!
Do not touch this company!!

Simple! Check BBB Rating Before You Consider SpeedTalkMobile.com

Simple! If I looked up their rating with the Better Business Bureau before I was considering them, I would have never purchased a year of cell service in one payment. What a nightmare. They refuse to refund my money for services they do not provide. This cell service is 2G at Best, can't even stream music or browse the web. I wanted my money back, but was told after 3 days since I used the service to make more than 3 calls, I am not eligible for a refund.
Next stop, BBB Review!

What a mistake

What a mistake! Although my Google phone has a fast processing chip and 16 GB of ram / 256 GB Storage,
My phone tells me I have a full 4 bars of signal strength & a 5G connection but it cuts out quite a bit. As I am traveling through the local area trying to listen to music, it's constantly cutting out. In addition I've tried to browse the web or login to Amazon, it just hangs, then delivers the pages after 1 full minute. I cant function like this and will be moving to another carrier. Don't make the same mistake I did!

Sim Card stopped working after I paid…

Sim Card stopped working after I paid for the second month, my device was unable to connect. THEN, my credit card, that I only used for this account, was stolen and a $4500 charge on AirBnB was attempted. Apparently I'm not the only one. This is the same company as JoltMobile. Beware of both

I bought a speed talk mobile sim card…

I bought a speed talk mobile sim card as a backup for my phone. In the past I lived in the shelter and already had 3 to 4 stolen. The reason why this gets a 4 star is because it's the only sim card you pay $5 a month. But what people forget you get what you pay for. $5 gets you 100 minutes of talk and 100 text messages plus 100 MB of data. Now comes the experience. I set up the activation process with little to no problem.
