The easiest way to reach this company when you need to contact them is here, to leave a review on trustpilot. Otherwise you have to wait behind the phone for hours, I am horribly frustrating.
Tow tyres are old need to be changed they have authorised one but not the both. They said to the quick fit that they pay only for one not both tyres because there was a small damage which i had showd the the tyre shop, they said it wasn't an issue. Now the tyre is worn out they wouldn't change it. After hours behind the phone someone finally called me back and I asked him why they haven't authorised both tyres to be changed first he said the insurance company wouldn't cover other tyres when asked him why that is the case? He made me wait again to find out why . After a while he is saying now because the tyre is worn accessivly. He has no idea why they dont change the tyre. Just to give me hard time, and avoid to spend money they will make stupid excuses. Olny way I have to do is take legal action.
Anyone thinking of getting a car from this company please stay away you will always be frustrated and will lose alot of money even if you try to return the car. I have rented from many company during last five years non was as horrible as this one.
The response below is a lie. There is no substantial damage, When I took the car to check the tyres to quick fit, they said both rear tyres old need to be changed not because of a little scratch but because they are worn out.
Wehn I called today you said that the insurance wouldn't cover the other three tyres again you guys are habitat liers.

Avoid Splend at all costs. My experience has been extremely stressful, unprofessional, and financially concerning.
From the very beginning, I raised concerns about a service warning on the vehicle at handover and was repeatedly assured that the vehicle had been serviced and the warning would disappear. Despite reporting the issue continuously since November 2025, no proper action was taken.
The situation became even worse when the vehicle was removed from my address without proper notice or communication, while the original issue remained unresolved.
Most concerning of all were repeated attempts to take large amounts of money from my bank account without my knowledge or approval. Multiple disputed debit attempts were made in varying amounts, and today an additional £300 was taken unexpectedly. I am now dealing with this matter through formal complaints and legal escalation.
Communication has been inconsistent throughout, with changing explanations and no accountability. What should have been a professional vehicle service experience turned into months of stress, disputes, and financial concerns.
Based on my experience, I would strongly not recommend Splend to anyone.

My experience with Splend has been extremely disappointing regarding both vehicle maintenance and customer service.
I attended Kwik Fit on multiple occasions regarding tyre concerns and was advised to continue monitoring the tyres and return closer to replacement stage. As a private hire driver, I relied on these inspections because road safety is extremely important when carrying passengers daily.
I later returned again and was informed the rear tyres had severe inner-edge wear with exposed cords and that continued driving could have resulted in tyre failure and a serious safety risk for myself, passengers and other road users.
I ultimately had to pay almost £300 for tyres and alignment work despite previously raising concerns and relying on the maintenance process linked to the agreement. What concerns me most is that the dangerous wear pattern was apparently not identified or escalated earlier despite previous inspections and monitoring.
Unfortunately, this reflects my wider experience overall. From early on in my dealings with the company, whenever concerns or incidents were raised, I often felt issues were dismissed rather than properly addressed. Despite explaining that I had evidence relating to incidents and that I was not seeking conflict or compensation, the responses and demeanour displayed by staff and management frequently felt dismissive, defensive and lacking professionalism.
Following a non-fault accident and replacement vehicle process, I was also left particularly disappointed by certain interactions with staff and management. At one stage, comments were made to me along the lines of “we have 2,000 customers, the problem is you,” which I found extremely dismissive and unprofessional given the concerns I was raising at the time.
I understand every company faces challenges and cannot satisfy every customer all of the time, however the level of customer service I experienced both over the phone and in branch consistently felt unhelpful and increasingly disappointing despite me always approaching matters respectfully.
Given my experience overall, I personally would not recommend entering into a vehicle agreement with Splend. The level of support, communication and handling of safety-related concerns has been far below what I expected, particularly considering the financial commitments involved and the reliance drivers place on these vehicles for their livelihood. I am shocked how the Splend owner allows this to go on.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Splend.
I paid an £8,000 deposit upfront and was originally promised that I would receive my vehicle within 1 month. Instead, I waited approximately 7 months before finally receiving the car, meaning my money was held for a significant period while I remained without a vehicle.
When I eventually received the brand new Mercedes EQE on 7 April 2026, I expected reliability and minimal downtime. However, since delivery, I have only been able to drive around 500 miles due to repeated faults and long repair delays.
Despite barely being able to use the vehicle, I am still paying £192 per week plus approximately £400 per month for insurance.
Since receiving the car, I have spent around 4 weeks waiting for Mercedes to resolve issues including a persistent rattling noise, faulty door handles, and other technical concerns. The vehicle remains at Mercedes while they investigate whether these problems can even be properly fixed.
The most frustrating part is being constantly passed between Splend and Mercedes:
- Splend tells me to contact Mercedes regarding repairs
- Mercedes says my contract is with Splend and any replacement vehicle or contractual resolution must come from them
Last week, I was contacted by a Splend representative named Iza, who assured me that my case would be resolved. I was promised a replacement vehicle while my car was being repaired, and I was also told my weekly payments would be deferred. Based on these assurances, I was asked to remove my previous review, which I did in good faith.
However, today after waiting from 10am until 12pm for an update, I was informed that Splend would not provide a replacement vehicle because I use my own insurance policy.
This condition was never made clear beforehand, and after removing my review based on promises that were not honoured, I feel completely misled.
To make matters worse, Mercedes has informed me that some expected vehicle features and hardware are missing, and that any contractual concerns must be raised directly with Splend.
I chose Splend specifically to avoid situations like this. Instead, I have experienced a 7-month delivery delay, repeated vehicle faults, poor communication, broken promises, financial pressure, and major disruption to my work.
Having paid a significant upfront deposit, weekly rental fees, insurance costs, and still being left without a reliable vehicle is simply unacceptable.
If this matter is not resolved fairly, I will consider escalating my complaint further.
