Charged £9.95 for delivery advertised as free

My first order was fine, hassle free, however I have just placed another order and am quite disgusted to see that I have been charged £9.95 for shipping on an order over £50 for which, according to the Spoiled Brat website, delivery is free. I did not select express shipping at checkout and I don't need or want it. I have requested a refund of the £9.95, depending on the response from customer services I may update this review but I can really do without this sort of grief.

Edited to add: I think this is on its way to being resolved but apparently the pop-up on the website that says ‘you’re eligible for free delivery’ doesn’t apply when you are using a discount code, which is misleading. I also definitely did not actively select express delivery at checkout.

We are a small business , we offer good discounts & you have applied a 30% discount to this order , we only offer 1 discount per order & free shipping is a discount

You saved £25.74 on your 30% discount code on sale items that are already hugely reduced

You selected DPD delivery & if you didn’t add the discount code the delivery (standard) would have been free! Standard delivery is £2.95. Your last order you ordered 2 jumpers both were sent & you used our pre paid label to send one back for a full refund. We have done nothing to deserve this review.

Damaged product and no resolution

I had a terrible experience. My order arrived damaged and I sent it back exactly as instructed. I was told the order was never received. I contacted Royal Mail and they said Spoiled Brat had to contact them as it was a business account. I relayed this and the agent refused to do so. I ordered this for my daughter for Christmas and paid shipping. Now I have no item and no refund. I would not recommend ordering from this site.

We did ask for proof of return postage , which you couldn’t provide to us. I’m afraid we can’t refund for an item that has not been returned back to us.

I am trying to contact them through…

NEW UPDATE:
I think you do this on purpose. I texted you yesterday too on WhatsApp and perhaps you should avoid having settings that will remove the chat after 24hrs. Do you do this on purpose, so you can say you never received a message from me?
I have all the screenshots, reason why I contacted you through email, Instagram and WhatsApp. Perhaps, I should try with a pigeon next time.
You never tried to rectify anything but attacked me straight away!!! Should I perhaps publish the entire conversation with proof of what I’m saying and the support I requested multiple times? Oh no, otherwise you are going to sue me, right? Perhaps you should know better the law before threatening someone just because it’s expressing her disappointment and feedback about this entire disgusting experience. I didn’t even say what I was looking for, but you immediately attacked me.
There wasn’t a single time you apologised or mentioned of helping me, instead you wanted all kind of proof I contacted you in the first place and attacked me for the review here. Very strange you contacted me after this review, but avoided me before. I am trying to contact them through every single channel they have but no reply so far. The parcel arrived completely damaged and the items slightly ripped and dirty. Hair towel has a few pieces missing from it and I’m not happy at all. Not to mention the bad smell coming from the parcel.
So far no support from this company! I won’t buy again from them! Avoid!!!!

I only received 1 whatsapp message from you today, which I responded to immediately. Your order was packaged in a box, all wrapped up in tissue, and put in box with packing to keep items good. The photos you sent us, show a damaged crushed box, which is not how we sent. Clearly the courier has not upheld their duty of care, and if you had given us the opportunity to resolve this for you without coming on to trustpilot and telling people to avoid us, then we could have had this resolved by now. But instead you have messaged us with aggressive messages, and not giving us any opportunity to explain that we did not cause this damage - we would need to escalate this to EVRI! We could have easily had any items replaced for you. So I am unsure why all this fiasco has been created over this. We are a small business, who always supports and helps customers. But in this case we have never been given any opportunity to do so, instead you have went straight into the attack.

Lovely products different to the high street shops

Lovely products which are different to the usual high street finds. Was very surprised to find my items individually tissue wrapped with care which was so nice and the items are of high quality and such a good price.Overall a very happy customer experience thank you Spoiled Brat 👍

American shopper

Im from the US but this shop has so many of my fav brands. Will definitely order again. I use a mail forwarding service and it was delivered very quickly to my UK address.

Got what I needed (heated face masks)…

Got what I needed (heated face masks) witha little something extra (being disney) and for a very good price! Delivered quickly and loved once I opened up the box! Thank you guys, it's the little details that count and put a smile on (well did to my face and my little girls).

Excellent service 💯

I initially put the wrong address on my order, emailed in requesting the change and had a response within hours. The item has arrived and it was beautifully packaged. Wrapping it up now for my son for Christmas! Excellent service. Thank you x
