I bought a camera via Ebay from this company about a year ago and I was impressed then by the speed and security with which it was despatched. The camera turned out to be a little too sophisticated for me which meant that I hardly used it so I contacted them to see if there was any possibility they would take back into stock. They not only gave me a very fair price to do this but arranged (and paid for themselves) the collection of this camera. I have been really impressed with their efficiency, fairness and service and would highly recommend them.

I cannot recommend the expertise and passion for photography that the staff at SRS Micro-systems hold, highly enough. My experience with them was some of the best customer service I have ever received. I am a Pentax enthusiast and I was treated to the services of Jonathan a fellow Pentax fan. I was guided through the selection process with complete courteousy and transparency. All the staff were pleasant friendly and helpful. I came to my final selection of new camera and lens in a pleasant and informed way with no sales pressure and I am certain I made the right choice. The guys also told me that Pentax themselves chose their establishment to host their 100 year centenary and treated me to a few commemorative goodies, which was completely unexpected and really was the cherry on the top of my great experience with them. I shall certainly be making the trip to Watford if I need any more help, even though it is miles away from where I live, due to how brilliant this camera provider is. Many thanks guys.

I recently had a self induced viewfinder issue with my Pentax K1 MKII. However, this was quickly and efficiently resolved by the Pentax Technical Support Team. Excellent support from SRS.

Absolutely first class service: I ordered the wrong item on-line (entirely my fault); I should have bought a Nikon fit ring flash but got a Canon fit instead. I didn't realise this until I spoke with a very helpful person indeed who quickly put me right. This was 3 weeks after I bought the item but despite this they told me to return it for a full refund (they did not have a Nikon fit to replace it with). So, as well as taking back the item despite it being opened they also ended up losing the initial postage cost. The refund was processed the day they received the package. That is the conduct of a very classy company indeed & I will always go to them for any future needs. Thanks!

I found SRS a few years ago after searching online for and item . I have always found SRS staff really helpful and now I would use them in preference to anyone else. I have also found their prices as good as anyone else, and unlike the internet if you have a problem then there is always a helpful member of staff on hand to help.

Have been using SRS for a number of years and have got all my Olympus kit from them both new and second hand. Needed a new bag and was shown a good selection and encouraged to try my kit in it to make sure I was happy with it. Great service, very competitive prices and staff very knowledgeable. Well recommend!

Heard good things reading other reviews, popped in today and had an awful experience. Pin drop silence which is understandable considering where we are at with covid-19. I had two asks; an x-mount adapter to any lens and to find out what Fuji lenses they had. The adapter search resulted in checking the website and looking through an old box of adapters and then he said to look outside the shop for Fuji lenses.

I wanted to pick up a 56mm 1.2 , but no clarifying questions asked about my needs or wants. Just really dismissive. I’m pro retail, I love the experience of being sold a product and love supporting local businesses but this was so bad.

If you fanboy/girl over Pentax, Canon and Nikon they may be up your street. But savvy buyers are going mirrorless and have needs as well.

The store always looks appealing from the outside, sadly that will be my only memory when I walk past in future.

(I purchased my 56mm 1.2 brand new from Amazon now. At least it’s brand new and delivered the next day without the hassle of experiencing rubbish customer service).

This is the only place in the UK where you can buy Ricoh/Pentax stuff in confidence, knowing that Chris and Doug are very knowledgeable about what these brands can and cannot offer. SRS service is impressive: they have been attentive to my needs and provided competitive pricing. I couldn't be more satisfied. This is not one of those camera stores where they look down on you or one of those massive chains where they couldn't care less about what they sell. This is just how a camera store should be, mixing expertise with excellent customer care. Well done!

The best place for hiring Pentax equipment. Very fair and helpful, I ordered one day, it was delivered at 1pm next day.

My third purchase from SRS and again I have had first class service. The price was the cheapest on-line price for a UK officially imported item so am really happy. Thank you for the service, product, price and delivery. I can’t fault anything and will definitely be back.

I popped in today to return an online camera bag order and couldn't have met a friendlier and more helpful sales team. The refund was dealt with quickly and I was truly spoilt for choice with the stock held and the staff went out of their way to help me choose the correct bag. This was my first experience with SRS and I was very impressed with the level of service both online and in store. Thank you!

Had to call them up by phone to clarify something, got straight through to a very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable chap who sorted everything very quickly.
Put in my order, which arrived a day or so later, well packaged and in perfect brand new condition. Price was quite a lot lower than anyone else and even £45 lower than Amazon! So I'm very happy with my new lens.

I traded in some of my used gear for a new camera lens. The quote exceeded that of other companies. Upon receipt of my equipment and inspection, SRS microsystems kept the arrangement and sent the new lens off within a few hours and with tracking info. The new lens arrived well packed some days later. All went smooth with quick communication.

This was my first dealing with SRS Microsystems and I have no hesitation in recommending the company, based on their service, knowledge and fairness. My order arrived within 24 hours of being placed and in excellent condition. I shall most probably be making further purchases here.

Bought my first DSLR from Srs Microsystems today. Wanted to find something decent and used and got fed up with trawling through websites! SRS are a few miles away from me, but I always dealt with them years ago for my film equipment.

Definitely worth the journey! Amazing selection of used cameras and I picked up a real bargain. Good advice and friendly service too - what more can you ask for. Happy to recommend

I bought a second hand Pentax 150-450mm f4.5-5.6 full-frame lens in store and was very pleased with it for a good few months, until it developed an unusual fault with the auto focus and zoom. I brought it back very near the end of the shop's one year warranty and they had it fixed to an excellent standard. It has subsequently performed excellently, possibly even better than when I first bought it. It took a little while to get repaired due to parts availability (not the fault of the shop) but when I enquired about lead time on the repair they were helpful, honest and informative.
As has been said in previous reviews, SRS are the go-to shop for Pentax users, both for kit and for advice.

I use SRS for all my camera needs. I find the service I receive both online and I store to be exemplary. They not only know their stuff, they are also a friendly bunch when you visit the store. Why go elsewhere?

Good and honest advice from them and placed an order being assured that everything was in stock. Only once I had paid I received an email telling me that one of the main items in the order was actually out of stock and I would have to wait for this. Not very impressed with this, but generally ok. Would recommend just check everything you order is actually available first!!
