Good honest advice, but check availability first!

Good and honest advice from them and placed an order being assured that everything was in stock. Only once I had paid I received an email telling me that one of the main items in the order was actually out of stock and I would have to wait for this. Not very impressed with this, but generally ok. Would recommend just check everything you order is actually available first!!

Great shop, excellent customer service

I have bought Vanguard Heralder 51T Camera Trolley from SRS Microsystems , purchase process was smooth, as it should be. But 7 month I have realised that there is a problem with one of the wheels. I have contacted shop and get prompt reply with recommendation to return trolley. In three days after sending the trolley back I have got message that the replacement have been sent to me. I'm really impressed how quickly my problems been resolved. In the future it will be my first choice if I need any photography equipment. Would recommend this shop to everyone.

Excellent Service

Bought a Pentax K-70 and a Pentax 16-85mm zoom lens. They had the best promotional deal I could find, with a prompt delivery to boot. Very pleased.

Customer Experience Second to None.

An excellent supplier of a wide range of cameras and camera equipment. The helpful friendly after sales customer support team is second to none. Customer service agents always have time to advise on how to use your purchase regardless of how long it takes and how long ago your purchase was made. They also advise on how to use photo editing systems such as Adobe Photoshop even though the purchase of the system was from a different supplier. I would recommend SRS Microsystems whatever your level of photographic ability.

First Class service & products

Simply a first class customer experience each time I have purchased items. Excellent product range at highly competetive prices, with efficient processing (online orders) and genuine, helpful and very friendly staff (phone orders and email communications). My first stop for all my photography requirements.

A Special Item Request

I placed an online order for a Nikon +5 Dioptre eyepiece adjustment lens from SRS Microsystems. They notified me in the Order Confirmation that this was a 'special item' and that they would let me know just as soon as it became available to ship. SRS contacted Nikon UK to progress the stock order and upon receipt they shipped it without delay. All correspondence was courteous and helpful. I would highly recommend their professional and friendly service.

SRS OK, Parcelfarce dreadful…

I’ve no problem with SRS themselves: their prices are competitive and they’ve always been very helpful when contacted. Unfortunately, they use Parcelforce as their delivery courier, hence my 3 * rating: a company entirely incapable of delivering anything even vaguely on time, and one that doesn’t care in the slightest that it doesn’t. Lens ordered on a Saturday from SRS for next working day delivery. It turned up the following Thursday. This is typical behaviour for Parcelforce, so I won’t be using SRS until such time as they offer other means of delivery.

Great Part Exchange Experience

Great experience. Was offered very fair part exchange prices on some equipment by mail subject to review. After review, no attempt to push down the price - everything offered was honoured and to top it all the prices on the new Olympus equipment I bought were the best I could find anywhere. So lovely to be dealt with by such enthusiastic and trustworthy experts.

When you need help is when great service matters.

It's easy to give a good review when you've bought a product that you love, but the real test is when you have had a problem. As well as knowledgeable advice, SRS also sorted a faulty flash and an Olympus lens that I was just not happy with. I now have a better Panasonic lens and just got rid of the flash via a credit as they were not happy with the product either. This is what makes me go back, genuine help and trustworthy service.

Just wanted to say I have bought from …

Just wanted to say I have bought from SRS many times and been really happy, even when wrong item was sent to me, resolved very quickly. Everyone makes mistakes, it's how it's handled that makes the difference.

The place to go if you own a Pentax, if I still lived in Watford I'm sure I would be in the shop regularly and attend their workshops. Keep up the good work!

Customer Service as it should be

I just had to write this review after the most superb customer service I think I have ever witnessed in my whole online shopping history.

Right from phoning the very nice guy at SRS to see if my Lowepro Camera bag was in stock he was extremely helpful and assured me the bag was in stock and I was pleased to see it arrived the very next day.
Now that's good enough but wait this gets even better..... firstly this Lowepro bag was cheaper than anywhere even Amazon.

They always say you can judge a really good company by how they respond when something goes wrong well this is where SRS excelled because my Lowepro bag developed a fault due to a defect in the strap which was no fault of SRS but Lowepro and Lowepro didnt want to know..... BUT SRS did snd boy did they help me they bent over backwards to make sure i was happy and made sure I got the problem resolved. I won't go into exactly what they did as it would be unfair of me to divulge what they did for me but take it from me it was Well beyond excellent customer relations.
The Lady I dealt with regarding my problem was polite, caring, helpful, professional and a shining example of what customer service should be and I am now looking for an opportunity to make sure my next big purchase is from SRS....even if the price is higher but I know they will be cheaper...but who cares their perfect customer care is enough for me

Hello. The site offers great prices. The only negative thing is the repayment policy. The repayment policy is long; It awaits many days before you have a refund.

Excellent company

I bought an SLR camera from SRS four years ago and have bought lenses and other items from them since. Great products, good prices and excellent service. I would highly recommend them.

First Class as always!

Always received an excellent service, I have been visiting SRS for years as the advice and help I have received has been nothing less than first class!.. and I have to travel 30 miles to get here! The staff have a wealth of knowledge and cater for pretty much everything I could possibly need.

Woefully blunt

Woefully blunt. Refused to honour price match guarantee on the basis that he could sell it to someone else for advertised price. Whilst you state below the reason/s why you refused the price match it still doesn't excuse your manner as well as ignoring my last email. I think we also established that it was in stock. My comment disappeared due to you filing a complaint which was subsequently dismissed once I produced the evidence to Trustpilot. Let it go before you embarrass yourself. Your tone (Regardless of failing to keep to price-matching claims on your website) was inexcusable - DIRECT QUOTE REGARDING PRICE MATCH "Our price is a saving of £220.00 on the new body price and only having one in stock, having sold the other one earlier this week know it will sell without problem."

As mentioned in a previous reply to your review (which has strangely disappeared) we feel that this is unfair and unrepresentative of the situation.

Our price-match policy is fully detailed on our website and in order for us to agree to a price-match certain criteria have to be met.

We were unable to price-match the other retailer on this item for two reasons. The first reason is that the product was not in stock at the other retailer (we checked!) The second reason is that the other retailer was only offering a six months warranty whereas ours included a one year warranty, which therefore means that the offering wasn't on a like-for-like basis.

645 to k adapter

I bought a Used Pentax 645 - K Mount Adaptor - 1 YEAR GTEE for 119 pounds. After receiving it, it turned out to be a Roxsen adaptor which you can buy new for €43 of fleabay. The only Pentax part was the front cap :-(
Never again!

After sending the adaptor back to SRS Microsystems and cancelling the order, they speedily refunded the money paid and with sincere apologies for their fault. So kudos.

Wow, excellent customer service

After being let down by currys, Jessops & Wex in the last 2 weeks I finally found SRS over 300 miles away had the camera in stock and it arrived less than 24 hours later! Friendly helpful staff on phone! Will be using again thank you

Excellent service and support

I have just had the pleasure in purchasing a Pentax camera, lenses, bag, tripod, remote and SDHC cards from SRS Microsystems. From start to finish I had excellent service - friendly and efficient. Whilst the items I purchased were all new (i.e. not recondition) they were exactly as one would expect well packed and in mint condition.
I first contacted them via e-mail about the products I was looking to buy. Their reply was very quick, friendly in manner and a very competitive quote which I could not resist. I had cause to telephone a couple of times before placing a firm order and each time they confirmed my initial views of them - friendly, efficient, knowledgeable and value for money.
I chose to visit the store to pick up the goods as I wanted to look around a good sized photographic shop where the staff knew their stuff and happy to give advice. I was certainly not disappointed. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and the banter - for example was suggested JOKINGLY that I should let them know the extent of my card and they would help me spend it - in fact they did the opposite and looked to see if they could do a deal on the items I asked for and at no time did they try to sell me something I did not want or ask for. (There are a lot of advertised photographic shops around where I live but over 95% no longer existed even though their advertisement and so called web site was still being advertised. The ones there were are all small and with limited stock. In addition many of the staff were sales people only after making the biggest sale they could, with very few actually knowledgeable in Cameras / Photography / Equipment).

To sum up the service and goods sold me were top notch and I have no hesitation in recommending them. I will certainly be contacting them first, for any other stuff I may want, servicing my equipment, advice etc.
