Scam website - do not use. Ordered spindles on 21st June, emailed to follow up on order on 8th July and today 19th July, received no response. The phone number on their website is not in use.

Placed an order back in feb, on website it said they was delay which I was aware of, I received an email in April to say they was a further delay. Having no one speak by phone is ridiculous and only contact is via emails which you don’t get a reply for days. Don’t not order from trade stairs

Do NOT order from this company. It is a scam. I ordered from them over 3 months ago. No contact from them apart from an email to say order has been delayed. Have had no updates regarding my order I'm the 3 months I have been waiting. I tried to phone but the number on their website isn't in service. Luckily I used PayPal and have had to appeal through PayPal to get a full refund.

I ordered parts like others and did not receive any goods. I managed to raise a dispute through PayPal in the end. This is an example of the emails you will get fobbing you off:

Due to a combination of a high number of orders and a delay in receiving stock from Europe we do have delays on most orders. We realise that this is a long time and if you are able to wait, then we would like to offer you a 20% refund on the products you ordered as a thank you for your patience and understanding. Please note that this is a general email being sent to all customers so if you have already received your order or have asked for it to be cancelled, then please ignore this email. If you have emailed or called us and have not had a reply yet, please bear with us. We have one person on the phone and one on email. We WILL get back to you, but it is taking some time. Please do not call numerous times or send numerous emails as this will only slow us down even more. If you do call and can't get through, please leave a voicemail and we will call you back. For emails please use tradestairparts at gmail.com. At the present time, we do not have the staff numbers to manage our social medias, so any message on those will not be answered. Ordered £959.05 worth of stair parts on 16th Feb 2022 and still waiting today 21st June. I have twice been notified of imminent delivery for weeks commencing 30th March and 6th June, but nothing. The phone number given in emails and on the website doesn't work. Emails get an automated response fob off. My account on the website says I have not placed any orders. This is absolutely a genuine review - they deserve no stars at all.

Placed an order in February. After several unanswered emails I was told to expect delivery in April, which never materialised. Continually fobbed off with excuses many of which sounded deeply unlikely. Eventually I cancelled the order which was eventually acknowledged in May, but to this date no sign of a refund. To take orders you cannot supply is the act of a badly managed, poor quality company. To keep your customers money when you have been unable to supply the order is the act of a rogue.

DO NOT USE!! SCAM SITE. ORDERED STAIR PARTS 4 MONTHS AGO, BEEN FOBBED OFF WITH EXCUSES, THEY BLAMED THE WAR IN UKRAINE. NOW NO RESPONSES TO EMAILS/MESSAGES/PHONE CALLS. NOW HOPING PAYPAL WILL REFUND.

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!!!!

My order placed in May, was paid for but to date has not arrived and have no information about it.
Out of half dozen times trying to make contact via phone and email, no reply.
I have contacted PayPal to try to refund my payment. My advice do not use. Read other reviews!!

Must Be A Scam...

Order Placed 08/03/2022 for some oak spindles & handrail etc.. today 07/06/2022 I am still speaking with the bank / visa / paypal about a dispute resolution as I cancelled the order after 8 weeks or so of waiting for delivery. To be honest I think it is a scam because no company can operate like this and be genuine. Good luck with contacting them as per other reviews. Always answer phone or closed during the day! BE AWARE EVERYONE - DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I don't normally leave reviews unless I feel the company has been exceptional. In this case they have...exceptionally bad.

DO NOT USE , robbed me of £180 from 03/03/22 still have not got my refund as of today 19/05/22 , received an email stating my refund would be in the bank after 14 days , 18 days later still not there , phone lines are temporarily down apparently they won’t reply to emails or messages through face book , this is Freud in my book and should not be allowed to trade !!!
Face book reviews are horrendous wish I had seen them before ordering !!

Ordered in March and cancelled after waiting over 6 weeks for the goods to arrive. Advised id get a refund and received a credit note 4 weeks ago and still, I am waiting for the refund.

Complete Scam of a company, sent emails tried calling and get nothing - Next stop will be logging a complaint with an authority like the police as this is pure theft.

Luckily I paid via PayPal - now opened a case so hopefully I can recover my payment.

This is a genuine review - can only assume the excellent 5 star ones are all bullsht

My parts did not get sent, I was not sent any update, their phone number is not working and their email address also not working. Managed to get hold of someone on chat and asked for a refund which will take 14 days, not holding my breath

Quite shocked at seeing all the bad reviews! I had a excellent experience with Trade Stair Parts! I had to wait 3 weeks but I was informed that upon my purchase, which I can understand with all driver shortages. When I called up I had lovely conversation with Claire and she kept me up to date with my order. Have to say how impress with the quality I was considering how much I paid, you can’t find any other prices like it!

We placed a order over 6 weeks ago. Order should have arrived within 10 days. Nothing.
We have been calling for weeks and can't get through. Finally got through 2 weeks ago. We asked for a refund which they said the would process. 2 weeks later we haven't received anything.
Very frustrating. No order and no refund.

Update: we have emailed them 4 times asking for a refund and we still haven't recieved it. They have been near impossible to get on the phone as the calls get sent to the answer machine
It's now been exactly 2 months since we ordered and we've not received any updates.

Scammers!

P.S THUS IS A GENIUNE REVIEW. I FIRMLY BELIEVE ALL THE REVIEWS ON THE 7TH APRIL ARE NOT.

At the time of ordering there was no mention or indication of delays. The company leave you completely in the dark and DO NOT provide updates.

I placed my original order on the 8th March. The “5 to 10 days delivery” passed, then the provisional “up to 15 days delivery” came and went, so I began the frustrating process of trying to get through to someone to chase up the order. I finally received a dispatch date of 11th April (over a month from my first order), but by the end of that week my items still hadn’t arrived.

While again trying to reach someone by phone, I received a “general update” email stating “Orders are currently being dispatched approximately 8-9 weeks from being received.” After further emails and phones calls I was finally able to speak to someone to cancel the order completely. Fingers crossed for a full refund.

I then ordered the same parts from TK Stairs on the Wednesday before the Bank holiday and they arrived Saturday morning 3 days later… and the order was sightly cheaper.

Even if all the various excuses are legitimate, which I doubt, as I now see from reviews that they’ve been having the same delays as far back as July 2020 (but still advertising 5 to 10 day delivery), there is absolutely no good reason to waste your time or risk your money on this company.

I think this is a scam company. Ordered parts and never received them. Cannot get hold of anyone on phone or email to discuss or get my money back. Zero customer service. DO NOT USE!!!!!

Wish I had read the review before ordering with them. Its been a month they will not answer my emails and lied to me when I advently got through on the phone. Avoid this company. Website looks good, the kits are cheap, but I'm starting to think they don't have any stairs to sell.

No interest in customer service. No replies to any emails. Orders take months to arrive. They have even stopped sending blanket excuse emails.

totally useless, go some where else this is a scam no professional company would behave like this, you have been advised
