Trade Stair Parts Reviews 

Trade spare parts have taken my order and payment on the 10th Jan , they will not answer any of my emails or messages left on their answering machine as the do not answer the phone. i ordered a hand rail for my 84yr old mother as she needs this to asset her with the stairs.
i am taking this as a fraudulent transaction and contacting the police as i this could be a scam. Don't use them

I placed an order for some stair parts, was told my order would be dispatched from the warehouse within a week or two. I have literally emailed and called them 20-30 times over the past 6 weeks and I have only ever spoken to someone once. She told me about 3 weeks ago that my order would be dispatched within 1 week and it has now been 3 weeks and I haven't heard anything from them, cannot get them on the phone or by email! So frustrating, they have basically taken my money and then have just ignored me for 6 weeks. Disgraceful business, please stay away from these people. I only wish I had checked these reviews before ordering, these people shouldn't be allowed to take people's money like this....it looks like they have been doing this to a lot of their customers based on all the 1 star reviews. If anyone is reading this, return my call please, I have called your office 12 times today alone.

How this company is still going is beyond me, genuinely the worst company i have ever dealt with. They lie about when the delivery is coming and never ever answer the phone. Delivery took 9 weeks to arrive and wasn’t even a big order. The order amazingly actually turned up present and correct so thankfully never have to deal with these clowns again. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY EVER!!

Horrendous company to deal with, take your money and then sit on your order for months. They make no effort with customers, they lie about delivery timeframes and they don’t make any effort to rectify issues.

Absolutely atrocious service all round. Ordered spindles almost 2 months ago now and still haven't received my order. Called several times and left messages to no avail or response. I did however get a response to one of my many emails after Christmas and was told my order will be sent out asap, when I still didn't receive my order 2 weeks later, I emailed again and now I'm back to getting the silent treatment.
Wish I had checked the reviews on Trustpilot first before spending my money with this company. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!

honestly the worst company I have ever dealt with, ordered in October and nothing but blanket emails with excuses upon excuses! Luckily I wasn’t in any rush before Christmas but I’ve been trying to call for 2 days and nothing, no call back and no responses to my emails. Wonder if this company is still in business or just in the habit of taking peoples money and making excuses as to why they cannot deliver. Absolutely disgusting, AVOID AVOID

Use Stairbits.com instead

Pretty much the same as the other reviews. It took far to long for basic parts to arrive, I paid more in postage and packing than the parts cost (£14.50 for second class post that took >10 days to delivery from dispatch). When I could wait no longer I found Stairbits.com who still managed to supply the same parts before this outfit. When I called stair bits to explain and see if they could expedite the order, the man laughed and told me that my experience was not unique.

Additionally, when I pointed out my displeasure to trade stair parts, there was no interest in refunding me for the extorsion of shipping. I returned the package un opened for almost 20% of the cost that they charged.

In my experience the company is inefficient, uncaring, and mercenary. I would highly recommend that this company is avoided.

I could chop a tree down with a butter knife and manufacture the parts I need faster than this mob can deliver. Blunt unhelpful replies to chase emails. I think they've taken my money and scarpered.

I ordered my stair parts on 2nd March - arrived on 29th March.
Be aware that this is a smaller company so will take slightly longer but are a lot better priced!! They are currently inundated with orders and are trying their best to get it ready.
Ive had some exchange of emails with Sarah who was extremely helpful - I have no knowledge of stairs and actually ordered the wrong infills. She picked this up herself and managed to change my order for me. She was also able to get it done quicker as it was delaying my move in date. I was initially disappointed that it was taking so long but I can't fault the level of service in the times we are in!

Ordered £1000 odd stairs from these guys mid Feb, nothing so far, no communication, no stairs, nothing. Rang them yesterday to find out where my stairs are, they said they ring back....
You guessed it, nothing.
I suppose I've now got the drawn out saga of attempting to get my money back.
The secretary was friendly enough, but really needs to get her feet off the desk and stop painting her nails.
It's been 30 days, which is enough for an order that "should take 5 days, but due to covid, may take up to a maximum of 15".
Plenty of other companies out there, I suggest avoiding these people and spending elsewhere.

I understand that Covid is causing a number of issues for companies. However I also know this is being used as an excuse for POOR service!
We ordered items from you 10days ago. You are not the NHS, please dont tell me it takes 10 days (or sometimes 15day as advised on your website) to send items to customers.
We have no update or anything from you. We called, waited in line then "there is nobody to take this call" message. So are you even still open??
Very very poor to blame covid, if you dont have staff HIRE them! Lots of people are looking for work.

Very bad experience with this company, 4 weeks delay with order, regret, that haven't read reviews on Trustpilot before ordering from them. AVOID this company!!! Placed my order online (ordered spindles, handrail, post, etc.) 5 weeks ago, it was no any notification that they do not have in stock, after two weeks contacted them, the lady Natalie confirmed, that the order will be sent out on 18.12.20; in the morning of 18.12.20 received confirmation, that my order will be delivered on that day, in afternoon she send another email stating that unfortunately they were not able to deliver and will give another delivery date. Have checked on their website that this company will be closed from 22nd Dec until 4th January!!! They put my whole project on hold until the next year!! This is ridiculous!What a poor service!

I ordered a very long spindle which caused vibration on their lathe but they managed all the same. Wrapped like the crown jewels for delivery. Very pleasedw ith the outcome and can recommend

Placed an order in June. Phoned at the beginning of August to cancel it due to long delivery delays. Lady I spoke with was extremely rude and, rather than offering an apology for misleading email information, referred me to the terms and conditions on their website. I cancelled the order and now, 6 weeks later, I am still awaiting a refund. Unable to get through to the company by phone, keeps going to voicemail. If you want delivery within a reasonable timeframe and good customer service, do not order from here.

Superb service and excellent value. The only place that sold the spindles in the dimensions that I needed, brilliant price and outstanding customer service. Had a problem with delivery (not their fault, the courier) and Sarah couldn't have been more helpful. Highly recommended.

Been waiting 3 weeks for an order for pine spindles and baserail. Job I am working on delayed. Contacted them by phone to be told in an offhand and unapologetic manner that it will be another 2 weeks to wait. I appreciate there is a pandemic and this throws up difficulties but I'm not ordering anything exotic just pine spindles which I would have thought would be a pretty standard item.
