Severely overcharged

Severely overcharged!
Boy, they saw my wife coming.
$300 for a full detail that she didn’t even need.
The car was already pretty clean as I’d washed and cleaned interior a couple of days prior. There were just a few black marked on the right side I couldn’t get off with the cloth. It’s a gov car we had to hand back, so had to get another quick detail. My wife talked to the guy (while I was getting out of the car and looking for my keys) about detailing, and he quietly got her to agree to the FULL detail that we clearly didn’t need. When we got home and she told me the cost, I was very surprised!
Then when we picked it up, they hadn’t bothered to get all the black marks off! I went round the car and was able to even scratch some of them off with my fingernail, which tells me they just didn’t put any effort into trying. A worker came over and made a another phantom attempt at it, which I appreciated, if nothing else, for the acknowledgment.

Avoid booking online if you want a set cost

Booked a Platinum service online at Rosehill for today (24/8/24)

First thing they did without even saying hello was open the car door and examine the interior with a LED torch, lifting up the floor mats. Claimed like others have commented that he "found sand" and the small patch of dirt on the boot was "road tar". Licked my finger and ran it through it to show him it wasn't! Would not do the clean unless I paid a lot of extras. Upselling is big for them obviously. Said as I booked online, I would have to cancel that way.

Problem is that the online booking system wouldn't let me change my or cancel my booking as it was around the time when my should be being washed. Looks like I've lost my $$$

Car damaged

I took my car to Miranda Westfield Car Wash today. I always check my car before handing it over. They did the “Polish” wash which obviously includes a polish. When I picked it up it has a new dent with white paint on the drivers side rear door. When I showed the attendant he quickly got his spray bottle and cloth and wiped the paint off the dent. When I told the manager he showed me video of my car getting washed.. at no time did he show me the side that was dented. He also said “All our hoses and vacuums are soft rubber not plastic or metal so it can’t happen”
I’m so disappointed that this is going to cost me money. And I’m sure I’ll get from Star “ we are sorry you are not happy with your car wash, we’ll give feedback to the manager “ I have photos if anyone is interested. And I’ve already sent details and photos to this company…

Stay away from this place

I paid for the full detail, over $300. Every window was streaky, door trims and dash had to be cleaned properly when I got home. When you pick the car up they park it in the dark underground carpark so you can't see the terrible job they do. Everything on the inside is sticky because of the products they use so you have to wipe it all off when you get home. DO NOT USE THIS CAR WASH. Its a rip off and they have no customer service skills.

Glenmore Park is a 5 star experience

Goldy at Star Wash Glenmore Park provides excellent customer service and his work on my car is immaculate, inside and out. I have been taking my car to him since I bought it and getting regular washes at star car wash keeps it in such great condition. The team is friendly, helpful, and always take into consideration my shopping time frame, so that my car can be complete at my best convenience.

Went in for a mini detail in North…

Went in for a mini detail in North Lakes last month. The mats were not cleaned, had to call the staff back to do this as we paid for it. There were alot of grease marks still remaining. Not worth what you pay.

I left a review before after they…

I left a review before after they damaged my car and refused to fix it. The bill for me is $795.
On the review, they replied to say sorry with a canned message asking me to contact them directly. This I did and still NO REPLY. This canned reply to make themselves look good when they have zero intention of customer service or owning this mistakes. Sharks

Terrible experience for $100

Terrible experience for having to spent 100 dollars worth for one simple Hoover clean. I still spotted messes under the seat and on it as well. Would not recommend.

Very unimpressed and disappointed

Very unimpressed and disappointed. $130 down the drain.
I booked online for a exterior/interior clean for $80. I was told when arrived it would be an extra $40 for sand inside and said I should've noted online it had excess sand.. WTH there was no sand in my car, it wasn't overly dirty at all. The amount of dirt inside is the same as ANY NORMAL CAR!
When done, they parked my car in a dark area when I inspected it so I couldn't tell how much of a atrocious job done on the interior until I was in the light, if at all. They only used spray/oil but didn't actually clean down or wipe marks at all. The back and passenger seat weren't vacuumed properly.

Prices are a joke considering the half job they do. They even charge a 10% surcharge to pay by card. Absolute joke. I will never be returning or recommending. They deserve 0 stars.

This is a total ZOO!!!!!!!!

Yo, why was there a gorilla that smashed my freaking window? THAT'S CRAZY MAN! The worker named Carter farts on the window and breaks them with his fart bombs. This is a total zoo. There was a monkey that was throwing dinosaur dung at us. how did they even carry about 250 POUNDS??? Don't come to this dumpster garbage.

Do not waste your time or money

Do not waste your time or moneyOriginally took my car for a clean roughly 6 months ago and returned to my car to find that my work fob had been broken from its cord and lost in the clean - spoke to the manager who apologised and offered a free wash next visit. Booked my car in for a complete detail 16.12.23 and asked to use my credit to offset the balance.
Left the car from approx 10am and received a message at 12:45pm stating that it is ready to collect. Returned at approx 2:30pm to collect. Waited over 5 minutes for someone to return to the desk to pay and leave (with no obvious staff supervision of the area while waiting) Pay for the work - only offered $30 discount - and staff member starts looking for my keys - he has no idea where they are. I go to my car (in a busy local car park) to find that my keys are in the ignition and the car is actually running. Ask why it is on and running - manager states that my car battery has gone flat while being cleaned - lie as the neither the radio nor car clock have reset (obvious sign of a flat battery) and the battery is only a few months old. Manager tells me I know nothing and dismisses my concerns about the risk of the car being stolen. The car has obviously been running for quite some time which is evident by the fuel tank counter (decreased by over 75kms).
I load my granddaughter into the car - extremely annoyed by this stage - drive around the corner and notice that the interior lining of the passenger door has been pulled from the car and is now ripped and damaged. Immediately return to get an explanation and the manager states that it was already like that when they received the car and it's not his problem.
Submitted a complaint online that afternoon and then called the head office Monday morning regarding the damages. Still waiting for someone to acknowledge the issue and help resolve. Not holding my breath for anything as it seems customers are not important to this business.

purchased a car wash voucher from…

The Glen Shopping centre.

I purchased a car wash voucher from Groupon. I turned up to the vendor to get my car washed and the vendor redeemed my voucher. The vendor then proceeded to demand i pay an additional $70 before he would wash my car. When I refused the vendor became aggressive and refused to wash the car or provide the service paid for.
Scam.

Back seat, underneath seats and boot still dirty

Unfortunately I collected my car and upon driving home found that the job was pretty sloppy. The back seat still had visible sand on it. The middle console did not appear wiped down and around our car seat looked completely untouched as did the boot and underneath the seats. If you’re charging me extra for an suv I would hope the boot would be vacuumed well. I’ve been a customer for a long time but won’t be any longer. So disappointed.

bad service

Spent $57 for a car wash. When picked up ... it's shocking. Water marks everywhere; internal didn't vacuumed for the corners; Wheels' still dirty. Showed the duty manager, he just grabbed a dirty cloth to wipe.
I won't recommend this one - Star Car Wash Alexandria. it's 1 out of 10. Don't waste of you money here.

Poor service all round…

The abruptness of the person welcoming me was very poor. It was obvious the person really hated doing his job. The car wasn’t cleaned well. Exhaust pipes covered in dirt, rear lower parts of the car dirty and 4-5 points on the car not even washed. Why pay $73 for a pathetic job and be treated poorly. Will I visit this site again? NEVER! Remember, a recession is headed our way and car cleaning shops are first to go out of business. Provide an excellent service at a reasonable price and you tend to stay in business in tough times.

I should note that the person finishing off my car was very courteous.

Why wash a clean car

These guys have never respected the advertised price and insist my car is too dirty (it's not) and will cost nearly twice as much. Why would I want to pay to wash my car if it was clean
