Improvements needed
Compared with other travel insurance companies your online form was exceptionally difficult to complete. It was hard to list all of my existing medical conditions and the form kept on going back to the beginning. Had it not been for the patience of my wife, I would have given up on Staysure and move to one of your competitors long before I finally managed to submit my application. I sincerely hope I won’t have to make a claim on my 3 day trip and that, if I do, your claims department is much more user-friendly than your application procedure.

Very good customer service on telephone
The renewal letter was disappointing since the quote was way too high. However, when I called Staysure their member of staff was very helpful and kind and she managed to get the quote down by £100. Always worth calling to talk through a renewal.

We do normally call customers who have a quote in the system for 2 reasons, one of them is to see if there is anything that we can help with, that has stopped a customer buying. Another is so we can learn the reasons behind deciding not to purchase so that we can check for any trends which we may be able to act upon in the wider business.

A reasonable experience…
Our ages are just sub 70 and of course we had to speak over the phone to verify our medical conditions. Our call was routed through to a data centre in South Africa, where the lass who answered the call was very patient and very clearly spoken. Although this is a faff, we got through it and are satisfied with our result.

I asked the staff member if I was covered for the Isle of Wight on my current annual insurance and he said he would find out. I was put on hold listeni g to the music. I heard the same 'batch'
three times over and realised he was not coming back so I hung up! I rang back and a female operant was able to tell me almost instantly. Rather annoying and time wasting!

Please be assured that the call will be listened to and relevant feedback passed to the agents manager.
As you have a UK only policy, the Isle of Wight is covered as long as you have 2 nights pre booked paid accommodation. The NHS would cover any medical expenses but we would cover up to £10,000 repatriation expenses if required.
My apologies for the frustration and inconvenience caused.
