My experience was great. Could not recommend Rachel more than enough, she has been amazing!!

Could not recommend Robbie enough! Having finally plucked up the courage to learn to drive at 30, I was incredibly nervous. The only advice anyone really had for me was to find the "right" instructor and I certainly did!

Robbie was incredibly patient and understanding of my concerns and took all of this on board to help build my confidence.

Whenever I struggled, Robbie always helped to break everything down and explain things from every angle until it "clicked".

He always brought so much positivity to each lesson and his attitude to driving and teaching meant I was always comfortable in the car and looked forward to my lessons!

Very happy to have found Robbie to take me on my journey to passing my driving test. I honestly couldn't recommend him enough.

My time with steer we go was amazing , Racheal was perfect. Steer we go has shown to have patient and caring instructors who make the effort to make sure their students are ready for their test .
As a university student my schedule is always changing , they were very flexible and understanding with all my needs. I’ve already referred a few friends and I will be referring more .

I passed my driving test with Paul. He is a really good instructor. He boosted my confidence and found out my problem.
He is always on time and I have learned a lot in every lessons. His communication is also brilliant.
Definitely recommend Paul.

My instructor Robbie was the best and I never would have passed without him, he had me test ready in no time and the lessons were always good fun and always looked forward to them.

My instructor, Michelle, was amazing for me. Genuinely couldn’t have been more helpful and attentive in helping me learn and being so encouraging. Worth every penny can’t recommend enough!

I did manual lessons with Michelle and she was a pleasure to drive with! She was very patient and calm and took the time to explain anything you needed to know or do and why. I definitely recommend this company as I passed my test first time after 5 months!

So I passed today with Paul and can I just say what an AMAZING instructor! From start to finish he has been amazing, we have the best lessons, having a laugh and a joke but also he ensures that you are learning exactly what you should be. When I started I was so nervous and within 10 minutes I forgot that I was even nervous! We got so much into each lesson and within some weeks I was test ready! I felt ready too - sometimes people think you’re ready but inside you’re not, I was a confident driver! Paul made me this way!! Although it took me a couple of tests (my own fault making stupid mistakes I KNEW I shouldn’t make) when I passed today, I was emotional as hell and I feel so sad that I won’t be seeing Paul anymore, from our chats about Chinese food or literally telling him my entire life story we always had something to talk about and I’d always leave the car smiling after such a great lesson! I honestly would and do recommend Paul to anyone! I can’t wait to get on the pass plus course so we can have another lesson 😂 but honestly, thank you Paul for everything! ❤️❤️❤️

Learning with Rachel was the best choice i could've made. Sad to see lessons end, she is very good with new and experienced drivers.

If you want to pass your driving test in Colchester, look no further, go to 'Steer We Go'!! In the past I've taken lessons from another driving school which I shall not call out here. But I was not happy with my progress at all. After multiple failed attempts I switched to Steer We Go. Most definitely one of the best decisions I've ever made. I had Paul as my instructor, he was super amazing.You can honestly tell that he genuinely cares about his pupils. He is the perfect combination of nice and strict. Had I not taken his lessons I'd never knew i had so many things to re-learn. He was very patient with me as I had the habit of doing crazy things during our lessons. He trusted in me when I wasn't even sure I'll make it. Highly highly recommend Paul & 'Steer We Go'. Wishing him all the very best.

I had lessons first with Paul and then when Paul switched to an automatic car I continued having manual lessons with Michelle.
Paul is professional but also hilarious and friendly and this made me much less nervous than I otherwise would've been! I enjoyed every lesson with him.
I had the majority of my lessons with Michelle who was brilliant. She was very calm - I became overwhelmed in one lesson and she helped me to calm down and did not rush me in the slightest. She was really patient in every lesson and let me practise manoeuvres as many times as I needed. Always reliable, friendly, and able to think of creative ways to help me remember things.
Can't believe I passed first time as I was a nervous learner! But even on the day of my test Michelle helped me feel less anxious. She is great.
I would recommend both Michelle and Paul without hesitation.

Booked a test and called up 10 driving schools - with every single one turning me down saying it was impossible to pass in a month… Apart from Steer we go learners! Paul took me on and built up my confidence quickly from a complete beginner. One month later and I passed today :)

Had a great experience learning with Robbie. Passed first time, and one thing he was especially good at was knowing all the things that could be thrown at you when under pressure, and i was very prepared for anything to go slightly wrong on test because i knew how i could fix anything that i got wrong under pressure.

My daughter has just passed her test first time because of the most wonderful caring lady called Michelle, I cannot recommend this lady more! She always had a smile on her face, she was always on time, and ready to go. My daughter suffers from terrible anxiety and I was recommended Michelle by Paul, and from the very first lesson she felt at ease and couldn’t wait for the next lesson. Any questions or problems and she is only a message away. My daughter is more emotional about not seeing her anymore than she is about passing her test and that’s saying something! From start to finish it’s been fantastic and an absolutely pleasure to have met you.

The experience learning how to drive with Michelle was just brilliant , I could say so many good things about her , she helped me gain the confidence and belief that I could drive and passing first time with her help I’m over the moon!!

Where do I start 🤔 michelle is such a great teacher the BEST I passed 1st time , Michelle is passionate in what she does it clear to see. She made me over come my fear of not stop and boy was I hard on the brake in the begining!!!!!. I will really missing our lessons and our chats and our adventures we was like two peas in a pod and now would class you as a friend. The red bin being taken away must of been a sign lol Michelle will know what I mean 😜.
Anyone looking to take lessons pick Michelle you won't regret it !!!!!!

Both of my daughters have passed with Michelle. As a parent, I was able to put my full trust in Michelle and she did the best job. She is the best driving instructor in colchester. She allowed me to sit in both my daughters lessons so I could see for myself how amazing she is. I couldn't recommend her more, especially if you have nervous daughters like mine.

I passed my test today with Michelle, she was absolutely amazing! She dealt so well with my anxiety regarding driving test and offered me solutions which actually worked. I know many others would have just told me to get over it. Michelle was brilliant because she never rushed me which allowed me to learn things calmly. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone! She's brilliant!

Michelle was so patient and calm whilst helping me learn how to drive. She was always on time and communication was fantastic. I will recommend every time especially if you are nervous or need extra support.
