As a professional camera man, you sometimes come to a situation were data loss is unacceptable. Bought the lifetime version in 2023 and it saved my reputation back then. I didn't need it until this weekend. Due to OS updates and newer software in general, i had to reinstall my software again. For some reason the program ran in DEMO mode. A quick and swift response from the Stellar team, and we're good to go. Recovery is a breeze and rock solid. no-brainer. :)

I used this app to fix a corrupt video from my camera. It worked perfectly and was easy to use. My issue is that you have to buy the premium version to access the recovery software. The feature isn't even available for the Professional version. Given that the need to recover HDD and video files will be a rare thing for most consumers, it would be great to have a standalone app for this, or a lower price point. At $100, it's expensive for one-time use for a year subscription. The perpetual license makes more sense, but costs twice as much.
