Michelle at bistro counter was such a friendly lady with warming welcome. Checked in with us during our sailing and served us delicious snacks and coffee. Also all other staff were great too.

Everything was spot on apart from the on board shop experience. You were advertising (everywhere) a great deal on a 100ml bottle of Boss men's after shave. Unfortunately when I went to the shop none were available and when I asked if they had any more in stock I was rudely dismissed and no effort was made to check if anymore where on board. Two points, 1) Don't massively advertise a product you do not have stock of, its very misleading and 2) your staff should at least give the impression that they are willing to check if more stock is on board. Very dissapointing,

On our return journey Hoek to Harwich, we were woken repeatedly by announcements in our cabin starting at 4am and continuing until the correct announcement for us at 5:30am. Having to then drive for two hours whilst exhausted is dangerous.
Secondly, Stena seem to have made no effort whatever to resolve the EES delays with the port authority. The delays are inevitable with only a couple of scanners for everyone and making all passengers exit their vehicles to be checked. Try harder!

The toilets near the duty free show on our trip over was very disappointing, it was so dirty and definitely hadn’t been cleaned before the ferry departed

The sailing was exceptional and well organised from loading the car on and off to the cabin that was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The complementary tea and coffee in the room an added bonus and very much appreciated. A very good experience all round. The bar staff and shop staff were very pleasant and helpful.

A great improvement on last trip. Vehicles on and off much quicker. Disabled able to use lifts without able bodied pushing in front.

The loading and unloading process were efficient as was check in. But there was no room in the Gold Lounge. The food quality was poor. I had a baked potato with pulled brisket which was awful. Poor taste and luke warm. The food queue was 20 minutes. Polite service but long wait for very poor food

The queueing system for cars to get on board is very frustrating. I have been using Stenaline for over 10 years on a regular basis and every time im one of the last to board, meaning I very rarely get a seat for my children on the ship.

I paid £25 to upgrade to the Stena Plus lounge thinking it would be quieter however with a disco in progress somewhere on the ship I had to listen to a thump thump noise and a male with a microphone shouting, not a very pleasant experience.

This was my first time driving onto a ferry from Holyhead to Dublin and doing the return journey with my adult daughter and son, I booked the Stena Plus lounge which was lovely, quiet and the staff friendly and very professional, nothing was too much trouble. My only concern was queuing in the stairwell to reach our car, wheelchair users and people with mobility issues could not access the lifts, which created a bottle neck, other than that it was smooth sailing. If when we where called to return to our cars, people with mobility issues and families with children should be given priority.
