I had a kitchen fitted by Ashgrove in June 2019, and Bristow’s installed the black granite surfaces. With a project such as a kitchen refit, I like to leave it some time before commenting. The initial fit was perfect and the stone was stunning, but what has impressed me is that it looks just as good 5 years on. I also had a bit of an accident and chipped the edge of one part, and they sent someone out to advise and repair. Good after sales service is important to me - so many companies take the money and run. So good to have companies like this in Devon. Highly recommended for class, quality and service. Don’t go anywhere else.

I’ve had Bristow’s in for several jobs recently. Not only did they do an incredible job of my kitchen, the Neolithic bathroom / shower wall is stunning. From templating to installation, I cannot fault their service at all. 10/10.

Brilliant from start to finish. Paul came out and templated and was really professional and made sure everything was just right. Then another paul came out and fitted, again really professional and worktops look great. They really make a difference to the kitchen. A few weeks after fitting one of the kids managed to chip the breakfast bar but the fitter came back and repair straight away free of charge. Great customers service.

The quality of the worktop is good except for one thing, it was not templated accurately.
The worktop was a flat bottom U shape, the U base 1.5m long, one leg about 2.5m and the other 3.6m.

The long leg butted against a cupboard and was 3 to 4mm too long, there were two fitters, one levered the worktop against the cupboard using a chisel against the opposite wall until the chisel broke through the plaster board. The other fitter then measured the overhang at each end of the U base, pronounced it OK and proceed to glue the three parts together. This fitter said we should congratulate the templater on getting the dimensions correct, I didn't agree and now realise this was just a joke at my expense.
After the fitters left I checked the overhang (nominally 15mm) all round, mostly OK except for the U base where it tapered from 17mm at one end to 12mm at the other.

Immediately after templating I had asked for a drawing showing angles and linear dimensions and requested that the material NOT BE CUT until I had checked to drawing, a drawing was sent but without angles and they cut the material without giving me a chance to check. By this point the salesman was barely civil (I had payed by then), I guess he was too arrogant to accept the customer may be able to measure lengths and angles or just didn't care.

What a lovely company to deal with .. from start to finish they were helpful, informative and just all round pleasant .. I’ve never bought something sight unseen before online and am very very pleased with the finished result ..Tayler if your reading this it was lovely talking with you and appreciate your very helpful advice … and of course I shall be recommending you all over the place ..

What a great experience, from the initial consultation in their showroom to choosing the material to be used, survey and fitting. All staff were so helpful and happy to spend a considerable amount of time assisting us. They were also very accommodating with my timescale bringing their initial installation date forward.
The removal of the original work surfaces and installation of the new was seamless. Our kitchen is on the second floor and they were very careful and considerate when moving up and down our wood, glass and steel stairs. I have been delighted with the product and the experience. Highly recommended.

We were highly recommended Steve Bristow by a friend of ours while looking for a supplier of quartz worktops for our new kitchen, so we had in our minds this was only a supplier of worktops. From the minute we walked into the Steve Bristow showrooms, how wrong could we be, and this was the start of a journey with the Steve Bristow team to bring a transformation to our home.

From the minute we met Billy and the team it was a journey of inspiration to transform our home, we discussed together and shared ideas for a range of worktops and furniture and then the team at Steve Bristow brought the ideas to a reality for a range of bespoke furniture. Although we could visualise the ideas, the reality of the final pieces always more than exceeded our expectations.

Although we dealt mainly with Billy, the team at Steve Bristow was a credit to themselves. Over time we met with the showroom team, manufacturing team, fitters to name just a few all of which gave the same impression of the Steve Bristow business showing strength throughout the business aligned to all provide great customer satisfaction.

The company fitted our worktops at short notice. The fitters arrived on time,we're very professional and polite. The quality of the worktops and fitting was excellent....would recommend without hesitation

The granite I have just had installed is absolutely beautiful. I think it's one of the nicest granites I have ever seen, I'm so thrilled with it.
Don't kid yourself, quartz is a pale imitation, granite is the real deal
