Dreadful customer support

Dreadful customer support. I had new Richmond 100DF DX delivered in August 2025. £2,500 of cooker. It has been faulty since the 1st day, and the customer services team is uselessly disjointed. The support team can only book service engineers, who are from Pacifica who emphasise they are 3rd party so then can only make recommendations. You cannot speak with customers services, all you can do is book an an engineer. After sales support will not speak and are very unresponsive, the home delivery team appear to have 1 employee who answers the phone so be prepared to wait over 2 hours for an answer (I am serious about this). Chat bot gives out the wrong email addresses, wrong telephone numbers and incorrect information about the cooker. Total and utter shambles.Amateurish, unprofessional and deeply inadequate.

I bought a STOVE one year ago and cant get warranty parts

I bought a STOVE one year ago , its still under warranty and its impossible to get it repaired.
I paid over 4000 euros for the appliance. GlenDimplex France went broke so its been impossible to get service or spare parts.
I have called GlenDimplex Ireland, Pacifica UK and am just like a ping pong ball , not one responds to email or gives help via the phone.

Poor customer service for unreliable Stoves Richmond Deluxe induction cooker

My five induction hobs have not been working for 3.5 weeks. Awaiting warranty repair part that’s not scheduled to arrive until next week, with a further possible 5 day delivery to their agent and then an additional 2/4 days until engineer attends to repair. Customer service unable to support because warranty is repair and this is considered a reasonable length of time to be without a working hob, which had the whole induction top replaced within a matter of weeks following original purchase due to fault. Customer escalation process not available at Stoves, only via third party agent who relays rejection from Stoves. Would never purchase from this manufacturer again and neither would I recommend them.

Bought this cooker Dual Fuel in…

Bought this cooker Dual Fuel in October, because we had the same one for 20 years and thought we would replace it. It was not the same quality as the old one but thought it would be ok. We have had to put the temperature up 20 degrees on every oven the hobs do not simmer so we called the engineer.
On arrival he told us Stoves is no longer the same company they are chinese, the noisey fans are standard you are not expected to simmer food and the ovens were the right temperature even though you have undercooked food all the time if you do not put the overn temperature up. So my advice is do not buy this cooker.

Poor customer service and disappointing quality

We purchased a Stoves 60cm wide Double Oven Richmond Deluxe 60Ei RTY Mini Range Electric Cooker with Induction Hob back in October. It looked lovely and worked well. Within a few weeks (and very little use in that time) the controls printed on the clock screen had completely rubbed off, I emailed the contact for stoves and never received a reply. We also have read every part of the manual and cannot find a way to check the time left on the timer without clearing the remaining time which, if this is correct rather than a fault, is very annoying. Since then I have noticed one of the induction rings skips from heat settings 6-8 with us not being able to use 7 at all as if it doesn’t exist. Again I emailed and have had no reply. Poor customer service and disappointing to have an oven which is still very new which is already seeming a bit worse for wear.

Disappointed with cooker

Disappointed with cooker. Looks good but cheapness of parts is very evident. Cheap plastic knobs that are so flimsy failure was inevitable. Any sensible manufacturer would know the moving parts like that are like a car door - reassuring solid = quality , lightweight tat = cheap. Oven cooks hotter than it should and glass top discoloured quickly.
Replaced a 29 tear old Zanussi that was a far superior bit of kit. It's a pity as I'd like to support a uk firm but this in not good kitchen equipment.

AFTER CARE UNACCEPTABLE

Absolutely disgraceful service from Glen Dimplex and their repair agent Pacifica.
My cooker has been faulty for 8 weeks, and I’ve now been told it could be another 2 weeks before anything is resolved. That’s up to 10 weeks leaving a family of four without a working cooker, which is completely unacceptable.
Communication has been awful throughout. I was promised call-backs that never happened, including one from Pacifica that simply didn’t materialise. It feels like no one cares once the problem is logged.
To make matters worse, additional faults have now developed while waiting for a repair, yet there is still no urgency or accountability. At this point, a repair is no longer acceptable — a replacement cooker and compensation should be offered as a bare minimum for the inconvenience and stress caused.
This whole experience has been incredibly frustrating and unprofessional. I would strongly advise anyone considering Glen Dimplex products to think twice, as the after-sales service is shockingly poor.

Absolutely shocking

Absolutely shocking, no pun intended. The oven has never worked since day 1. Noisy fan, intermittent grill, and main oven trips circuit breaker. It took from sept 25 to 26th jan 26 to get an enginner to attend. He identified multiple damaged wiring looms and broken wires. I am still waiting for a copy of that report to send to wren, from whome i bought the oven from, so they can decide on a refund or replacement. Be prepared for endless call to there sub contracted repair agents to get updates.

Spoke to Andrew L at stoves

Spoke to Andrew L at stoves, regarding the problems with our new dual fuel range cooker, which are the very noisy cooling fan that runs on for ages and the fan in the tall oven that rattles on start up. Andrew has arranged for an engineer to visit later this week to replace parts and resolve these problems that we did not expect on a very expensive new cooker. Andrew L was very helpful, hopefully the engineer will be as helpful. I will report back after his visit
