We previously had Strachan furniture in our home office and decided to update the layout. We approached several companies however the Strachan designer gave us the most confidence and the layout he designed met our requirements. They are not the cheapest but the quality is great and the service we received from placing the order through to installation was excellent. Very pleased with the results.

Everything from the initial contact with the company, through the design process and the actual fitting of the handcrafted wardrobe has been an exemplary experience. The actual wardrobe furniture that has been fitted is beautifully crafted and the fitter, Aaron, was magnificent. He was professional, efficient and friendly throughout the whole process and completed an excellent job. Thanks to all involved at the company!

Follow up quarantine work went far beyond expectations. Matching products to ensure the colour. Well done indeed.

The original sales pitch was the most reassuring we received, though the quote was not the cheapest. We took our time considering but was not pressured to commit.
We were given a date and that was adhered too. Peter the installer turned up and stayed with us until completion, he worked from 8 until 6 each day and was obviously a craftsman, he like everyone we dealt with were considerate professionals. I am impressed enough to ask for a quotation for future work

Three years ago my late wife and I decided to move to a new apartment. The apartment we were leaving had bespoke shelving and cupboards fitted, by us, in a large hall area. We decided to try Strachan to make and fit similar wall units in the living room of our planned new apartment. It has taken 3 years, during which time my wife sadly died, to make this move but to a totally different apartment than that first intended. Strachan have kept abreast of all these changes and adapted design to suit changing needs and locations. The final units were fitted by an exceptionally good, and understanding carpenter known as "Gio". Even at this last stage he checked that my needs were being fully met and made small adjustments. The final result is both beautiful and practical. It accommodates both ornaments and books and even one lamp. Units have been designed to accept cables to any position needed to feed power to the lamp and the internet hub. Strachan may not be cheap but their design, quality and support have resulted in a top quality feature in my living room which has been well worth the wait and cost.

I could not be more pleased with how the fitted wardrobe looks. The installer of the wardrobe was excellent, he took the old wardrobe out and installed the new one with no damage to the surroundings at all. He was exceptionally careful, considerate and polite.

As soon as I saw the curved door on the Optima range, I knew that it was what I wanted for my guest bedroom which has a sofa bed and doubles as a sitting room. My contacts with Strachan were positive throughout, especially Georgina who was my main contact on the phone when I was making sure that the drawings were showing exactly what I wanted. Lawrence, the fitter, was excellent too, taking time to get everything spot on. He even phoned the cabinet maker to make sure that the magnetic catches on the curved door, which he had never fitted before, were going in the right places.
I am thrilled with the furniture and the grandchildren who came to help me fill the cupboards raved about the look and quality.
It was expensive but it was worth what I paid!

I had a problem with my folding wall bed becoming increasingly heavy to raise and lower, taking 2 people instead of one to do the job.
I contacted Strachan asking for advice on how any adjustments to the spring dampers could be made.
They got straight back to me saying the bed is still under the 5 yr warranty and arranged for an installation technician to visit free of charge.
The engineer came yesterday (August 20th 2025) and agreed it was exceptionally heavy.
He spent around half an hour making multiple adjustments and was finally satisfied with the operation, added me to test it and incredibly I can now lower the with virtually no assistance and raise it with minimal effort.

This is a great company and we highly recommend

We have just had a wall bed fitted in our guest bedroom and we could not be more pleased with the entire experience with Strachan. We would like to say a big thank you to everyone involved: Customer Service, Malcolm (design consultant), Howard (surveyor), Dave the delivery driver and Laurence our fitter. They have all been very professional and a delight to work with. Laurence did an exceptional job, arriving punctually, wonderful installation and a pleasure to make coffee for! A very happy chappy, he left the room spotless during the installation and when the job was complete.

This is the best company I have ever used. We have had bedroom wardrobes fitted, as well as a study area in our new house. It was expensive but the results are perfect and enhance the rooms. The customer experience was exactly how it ought to be; with helpful & totally efficient office staff, & punctual and professional workers. Delighted to recommend this company and only sorry that they don't fit kitchens as well!

We have used Strachan before for a full fitted bedroom- the results were well beyond expectation- superb!

Now in a new home we needed a small insert into an alcove in a guest bedroom to give much needed storage. Stewart, a Senior Designer, was amazing and envisaged immediately what we needed while making most of the space and looking fabulous! Our new furniture was installed seamlessly, looks as if it always belonged in this room, is of immensely superior quality and the fitting was clean, precise and beautiful. Can’t believe what a difference it has made to this room and can’t thank Strachan enough- efficient, classy, and professional. I wouldn’t consider anyone else to fit our furniture.

We are very pleased with the installation and the final appearance of the wardrobes and chest of drawers. The quality is excellent and reflects the cost. The service we received including viewing in the showroom, the visit by the area representative who helped us design the bedroom furniture to fit the room and the installation process was excellent.

Peter who fitted the wardrobes was punctual, completed the work to a high standard and left the room clean and tidy once he had finished.

There were a couple of issues with a wardrobe door and shoe rack but these were quickly resolved to our satisfaction

I recently had a dressing room fitted. The planning stage was thorough and the design created met all my expectations. The fitter arrived on time and worked to a very high standard throughout the week of the installation. His workmanship was excellent. After sales care was second to none. The dressing room /drawers in the Principal bedroom look amazing and are much admired. I highly recommend Strachan Furniture for providing a first rate service.

If you have a complex job or want higher quality than the high street offering, just go to Strachan. We had a very challenging design and they just didn't stop until it was right. Expensive? Yes. But you get what you pay for. Excellent design + excellent customer service = excellent end result.
