I have had an extremely poor experience with Audi Erdington, Birmingham, and would strongly advise anyone to avoid this dealership.
I attended the service department for warranty work, only to have my warranty incorrectly voided due to their own technical and clerical error. Instead of following basic procedure and checking the actual mileage displayed on the vehicle’s dashboard, staff appear to have assumed or incorrectly recorded the mileage. This careless mistake directly resulted in my warranty being unfairly voided.
The lack of professionalism was shocking. The service manager, Emma Askew, was dismissive throughout and showed no accountability or customer care whatsoever. Not once was an apology offered. Her behaviour came across as immature and completely unsuitable for a customer-facing management role. Frankly, it felt like dealing with someone who did not understand the responsibility of managing a service department for a premium brand.
Since the Stratstone Group takeover, it is clear that standards at this branch have significantly declined. Many experienced staff appear to have left, and it shows. Phone calls go unanswered, communication is extremely poor, and the service department feels disorganised, careless, and badly managed. Customer service is virtually non-existent.
I have already escalated this issue to Audi Customer Care, and the dealership is fully aware of the complaint. Despite this, it has still not been handled properly at any stage.
This branch is a disgrace to the Audi network and does real damage to the brand’s reputation. Audi Erdington, Birmingham is simply not fit to represent a premium manufacturer.
Stratstone will no doubt respond publicly to this review. If you are capable of responding here, then you should also be capable of responding properly to my emails with a clear apology and ownership of the mistake. You already know exactly what this complaint relates to.
I strongly recommend not using Audi Erdington. If you value your time, your vehicle, and competent customer service, take your business elsewhere.

On getting the call to collect my vehicle the technician ran through the list and handed vehicle back over to me.

I am writing this review to express my appreciation for the exceptional service I received during my recent purchase of an Audi Q7 from Audi Erdington. From my initial phone inquiry through to the test drive and the final purchase, I felt incredibly well taken care of throughout the process.
Irena was my main point of contact throughout the process, and she truly went above and beyond. She ensured I was confident in my choice and provided first-class service and after-sales support once I committed to the purchase. I never felt pressured into making a decision at any point. Irena, along with her manager Dan, provided all the information I needed to make an informed decision. I have also appreciated the multiple follow-up calls to ensure everything is going well with the vehicle.
I had a very bad experience with my previous car, a 2018 F-Pace, which sustained irreparable damage during a breakdown in September. I received no support whatsoever from the JLR dealership. In turn, it was incredibly refreshing to approach Irena Audi and receive such exceptional "white glove" treatment, regardless if I was going to commit to the purchase or not.
Thank you, Irena, Dan, and the entire team at Audi Erdington, for your outstanding customer service. I cannot recommend your branch highly enough.

They have taken my car as part ex - 9 weeks on have not paid off the finance. I now have payments for a car I dont even own.
They are scamming people and taking their money.

Audi Approved Erdington has fallen far short of expectations. A fundamental fault with the MMI system has been ignored, with blame pushed onto me for having a new iPhone — something never disclosed at the point of sale.
From day one the system has failed to connect, leaving essential features like navigation unusable. Despite multiple returns, Audi has offered no fix and instead advised I “just listen to directions from my phone with any car sound - radio etc off.” This is unsafe and unacceptable.
The lack of accountability and dismissive service is appalling. Customers should not be paying for cars that fail to deliver promised functionality. Until Audi takes ownership, I strongly advise buyers to be cautious and test everything thoroughly before committing.

Avoid this dealership****
Audi Erdington have had my car in their possession for 7 weeks after a part ex, which went smoothly - however they have not yet paid of the outstanding finance and failed to do their own due diligence.
7 weeks on there looks to be no resolve.

SHOCKING customer service, they say they pride themselves on customer service but I can never get through to them, my car has been in the garage for 4 weeks now and I'm still trying to get an update! Avoid this dealership at at costs and go to the one in Solihull.

Don't use these people once they have your money they don't want to know.
I currently have a car with a brake problem from day 2 now 14 weeks in that I have videoed for them as its intermittent due to possibly being temperature related and weather now warm as it took 10 weeks to get a booking.
Sales great but service truly shocking and not bothered about customer care or after care.
Had a loan car and when checked after return the documents had been fraudulently signed by them (not me or Wife) and the miles stated incorrectly on the return document.
On returning my broken car because they could not find the fault and JLR would not pay them !

Car has now been at your dealership for 16 weeks and still not fixed, my fleet company is constantly emailing and calling you but you do not reply, around 4 weeks ago you stated the car was fixed had been test driven but when questioned that the car had not been driven since the 14/04/25 you then couldn't confirm the work had been completed?
