Audi Milton Keynes sold me a £76k Audi SQ8 and honestly it has been the worst car experience I’ve ever had.
The car has had repeated faults including airbag faults, seat belt faults, suspension faults, oil warnings and multiple breakdowns. AA has been outside my house so many times now that it’s honestly embarrassing.
I was promised that if I gave them another chance they would fully service the vehicle and resolve all the issues. I have the emails and proof of these promises and I will be attaching them.
They even gave me a courtesy car and then the same day called me saying my car was ready and I needed to return the courtesy car immediately or they would stop the insurance on it. I live 2 hours away so I had no choice but to drive there. When I arrived, they told me my car was NOT ready. I genuinely could not believe it.
Today the vehicle broke down AGAIN and roadside assistance told me the car had not even been properly serviced, despite me being told a full service had been carried out. I was honestly shocked.
The communication has been terrible. The person dealing with my case, Timothy Gibson, keeps saying he is in meetings and will call me back, but never does.
I bought this car expecting premium quality and reliability for my family, especially with two children travelling in the vehicle, but instead it has caused stress, inconvenience, safety concerns and complete loss of trust.
I have already escalated this matter and made formal complaints to The Motor Ombudsman. If you are thinking about buying a car from Audi Milton Keynes, please think carefully.

Generally very good and no major complaints with previous this or previous interactions
Couple of points on the most inspection report could have done with a bit more explanation but was able to work it out online from what they had put

Brakes feel very soft after last service.
As if air in the system.
And what kind of date system are you doing in the next question..
What a complex mess.

My Audi was in Nov'25 for oil change and spark plug change when it had 41500 miles recorded. In March I got the 'Inspection due' message. When called, I was told this is for over 40000 to replace some filters! Well why wasn't it done when my car was in Nov'25, saving me some money and time. I had complained about this and credit to Abey, the house manager, despite not accepting my valid point that the two jobs could've been done in one call, offered me some reduction to the cost. I still think Audi needs to review the way they service the cars for different things at a different times, unlike other manufacturers whose cars I have driven.
Also, when I picked up the car, only half was hoovered/cleaned.
03/07/2026 - The response from Audi is just a standard reply. I have already supplied all the details to the customer service. Either the respondent could have spoken to the service or could have invited me in person to discuss further the feedback I have already given here and in person.

I purchased the vehicle on 24 October, and from the beginning I experienced multiple issues, including rumbling, juddering and humming noises when turning, as well as clunking and occasional thud sensations from the gearbox system, especially when shifting between low gears and when returning to D1,binding/jumping in reverse gear, clunking through gears and stationary direction shifts produced loud clunks,There was also a gearbox oil leak from the sump plug(gearbox oil was serviced 2 days before i took the car, service was done 7500 miles later then audi reccomends and it was advertised as audi approved)and intermittent gear selector faults appearing on the dashboard when selecting P.
These concerns were reported early, and both Stratstone Customer Services and Audi UK were notified. After my second visit, I was quoted to fix some of the issues, which I refused as the vehicle had been supplied in that condition. I was then advised that this would be resolved internally and that I would be contacted the following day. This did not happen, and after several days without contact, I had to escalate the matter through Stratstone and Audi UK. Even after multiple emails, there was still a delay before Milton Keynes Audi eventually made contact to arrange further work.
The vehicle was then booked in for several days. During this visit, adaptations were carried out, the AWD system oil was flushed, and the gearbox sump plug leak was addressed for a second time.
Over the 5.5 months, the vehicle was returned multiple times — five visits in total — for inspection and repair. During this time, further work was carried out, including additional adaptations and eventually a major gearbox repair with full dual clutch and associated component replacement and another awd oil flush as the judder and rummlbe returned just after 1500miles,
Despite this significant work, the original fault remained completely unresolved, and the vehicle continued to behave in the same way.
I returned the car again, and while the issue was acknowledged, I was advised that further investigation would depend on comparing the vehicle with another similar car, with no clear resolution path or timeline provided. At this stage, after multiple visits, extensive time invested, and no improvement, the situation became unreasonable.
Following the major repair, I obtained an independent gearbox and drivetrain specialist report prior to my final visit to Milton Keynes Audi, which included video evidence and highlighted multiple concerns that should have been identified during the dealership’s own diagnostic process.
Communication throughout was inconsistent, unclear, and difficult to follow, often requiring repeated follow-ups and leaving me without clear answers. This added unnecessary stress to what was already a prolonged and frustrating experience.
It is important to note that I made a conscious effort to allow multiple repair attempts rather than rejecting the vehicle early, in good faith, hoping the issue would be resolved. However, after such extensive work and no improvement, confidence in both the vehicle and the process was lost.
The vehicle was ultimately rejected through my finance provider due to the unresolved faults, who reviewed the evidence and handled the matter professionally.
While some staff were polite and did acknowledge the issue, the overall experience — particularly the lack of effective diagnosis, failure to resolve a serious fault, and poor communication — fell well below expectations for a premium brand.

Overall the customer service was poor.
Prior to attending the appointment I was told over the phone that the works should be done my midday so I decide to wait. I was left with no proper updates. I kept having to ask for an update. I was then informed of a finding on the car- having temporary repairs in the tyres. I have never changed the tyres. I the noticed that on the day I collected the car from the video I took whilst still at the store it shows the repair on the tyre. I informed the person and the manager was made aware. He refused to even come out and speak to me or even acknowledge my follow-up email.
I was sat there from 8 AM to 1430. Being left with no update, no acknowledgment just showed no respect for customers. If I had been told I would’ve gone home or even for a walk. And it is very appalling. I didn’t have this treatment by the sales team at all. And it’s really unfortunate. I have an appointment coming up and I’m literally dreading coming in I was looking to even go elsewhere but not sure how this will work with warranty etc…

I liked their interest in the customer and contacting him to tell about the malfunctions and the cost to her before starting any work, and this is an excellent thing from the company .

I recently bought an Audi Q3 Sportback and dealt with Will their Sales Executive. He was friendly, easy to talk to, and very helpful from the start. He listened to what I wanted and gave clear advice without making me feel pushed into anything.
I am very happy with the car and the service I received. I would happily recommend Will to anyone thinking about buying an Audi.
