Audi Q2 taken into dealership with an intermittent fault on the automatic electric handbrake which wouldn’t release when pulling away. Charged £140 for diagnostics, they couldn’t find the fault and said they would have to get a senior mechanic to look at it. They said it just needed a software update, which was done and customer to monitor. 2 months later car broke down in France whilst we were on holiday. Unable to access gears and automatic handbrake locked on again. Car had to be repatriated back to uk to Audi Warrington via breakdown recovery company. Audi Warrington advised new clutch needed and rear brake discs and pads. Brakes 30% worn since it was in there 2 months ago. They could not explain why there would be such a decrease in so short a time. Total cost of repairs 3k. Within 24 hours of bringing car home handbrake locked on again and car unable to move. Advised by Audi Warrington they would charge again for any repairs in relation to this. Found on google that the fault with the handbrake had likely caused the rear brake and clutch issues. Warrington not interested in hearing this, said they don’t look at google. This is a shame as google gives some potential ideas as to what may be wrong and they may learn from this My concern is that the unsolved handbrake issue will be destroying the new clutch and rear brakes in a very short timeframe. They advised that as the problem was intermittent they did not investigate further when we originally reported the fault. Obviously they don’t believe the customer when they report a fault. Very disappointed in their attitude, very poor customer service and knowledge seems to be limited when problems occur. We will not be using this garage again nor buy another Audi it has proven very unreliable and we have lost faith in their ability to sort out a reported problem. Customer satisfaction is not a top priority of this garage. This is the first clutch I have ever had replaced in 50 years of driving The car has only 37,000 miles on the clock. Our first and last Audi, will be going back to Japanese built cars which we have had for years and they were very reliable

I taken my car into this dealership and was informed that the overall cost to fix the issue was 10.5k and they were certain that it was unsafe to drive. Issue went on for 2 months and involved a third party garage who disagreed with Audi Warrington and then I taken it to another Audi dealership who covered the part under warranty and fixed the problem. Apparently this was a inexperienced mechanic who didn't investigate properly. Very poor throughout and caused distressed with Audi Warrington just being inconsistent throughout. Reported to Audi UK and I will definitely be spreading awareness as this could have happened to a large amount of customers. DISGRACEFUL

Booked my new Q8 in for a fault, the centre armrest is squeaking like an old gate, only to be told that this is a characteristic of the car and so cannot be fixed under warranty. I have added a video so anyone can hear what Warrington Audi say is a characteristic Audi's top end SUV. I have attached a technical bulletin from the USA, that describes the fault and how to fix it. Warrington Audi say because its an Audi USA bulletin, so what we wont do anything! Terrible service from Warrington Audi.

Customer service is poor to say the least.
Still awaiting a call back from the customer service representative on the duplicate charge to the bank card.

This dealership is the worst i have ever come across in the 25 years of buying cars from prestige dealers such as BMW, JLR and Audi.
I purchased my vehicle in August 2023 and have had nearly 2 years of problems with doors dropping on 3 occasions, being locked out of the car and having to ring AA for assistance to get in to the vehicle, multiple lights on the dashboard constantly, doors not aligned on the vehicle, car not going into gear intermittently, but when you take the car back and ask to reject it, they say let us put it right for you, do some patch up work then when it goes wrong again it takes over 3 months to get the car back into the dealership because they are so busy fixing all the other problems with cars they have sold, this garage should not be allowed to continue trading, and don't think you can make a complaint to the Motor Ombudsman because guess what, they are purposefully not part of the scheme because they know it will be bad for them. If you are thinking of buying an Audi in the Northwest of england, then i recommend you find any other Audi dealership other than this lot because they will take your money, and if there are issues, they get away with it because the sales man/woman has now left the business and blame all the mistakes on them. When i purchased my car, they got me to sign all the finance agreements, which i did using the date i was signing them, only for them to change the date to fall in line with their monthly sales, FRAUD i think that is called, amending a legal document without consent of the signatory, i only found this out recently because i never received a copy of finance agreement until i have recently started making complaints.

Matthew went out of his way to get my car repaired on the same day, he also pulled out all the stops to get me a loan car so that I didn’t have to hang around for hours. 10/10.

Took my nearly new Audi in for a service, mentioning an intermittent issue the pre-sense warning light. I was informed that the windscreen was "non-genuine". I said I would expect my nearly new car, purchased at a premium from a main dealer, to be 100% genuine and faultless, not to have a fake windscreen causing issues. Service agent hung up because he didn't like my saying that it was fake. Childish.
I was asked to claim for a new windscreen on my insurance. I said I didn't want to lie to my insurance company. I was then asked to pay £800 of the £1000 quote. Situation finally resolved by the sales team.
I left the car with the dealership and went on holiday, explaining that I needed to collect the car on the following Sunday. Service agent told me this was fine and he would arrange this. However, the keys weren't left out as promised and I couldn't collect my car.
Shambles. I also now worry what else might be "non-genuine" on my car?

I would never buy a car from AUDI Warrington dealership again. Nothing but problems and false promises made by the sales executive who was very new to role.
I am not local to Warrington so was travelling back and forth when I was given dates that they couldn’t meet for my vehicle collection. The used car I purchased had sold to someone else even though I had put a deposit down on it so they then found me another car of a similar spec but more expensive. When I asked why a car I had placed a deposit on had sold, they advised “the deposit does not secure the vehicle” what is the purpose of the deposit then? After purchasing my second choice vehicle, I was then left on hold for weeks due to a ‘SOS fault’ they could not release the car until this was fixed- therefore I am unsure how this car was Audi approved to begin with. After waiting weeks for the car, they advised this was fixed in workshop and would not be a problem and I could now collect car due to safety checks been completed. Since I’ve had the vehicle, the warning light for SOS system comes on several times and my media and screens completely cut out. Providing absolutely no reassurance that the problem was fixed. Why was my car delayed if the problem was not fixed? If it was ‘fixed’ then it was very temporary. When the SOS system fault kicks in, it completely stops the media from working also and the dashboard which is fully electronic goes black. This was the reason they couldn’t release the car to me and weeks later, it’s suddenly a problem again.
On top of this. They took 3 months to clear my outstanding finance as part of a part exchange, leading to missed payments affecting my credit score. Requesting to speak to a manager several times and the message never been passed along. The sales rep I dealt with conveniently never been in. I finally spoke to a manager Adam and fair play to him, he had cleared my finance the next day after I addressed my concerns. However still unsure why I was told for 3 months there was an issue with part exchanges but manager Adam had no idea about this problem and resolved it. The only useful person I have dealt with at this dealership.
After having the vehicle 4 months now and having numerous issues- my rear handle has no completely fell off. Opening the door as normal and it comes off in full. I have a feeling this car was involved in a crash previously which is causing all the problems I’ve outlined, however this car was never listed as Cat S. after reading online, it appears it’s a common issues with Audis, however how can a car which is not even old or showing any exterior signs of wear and tear have this level of malfunction.
After getting advice from another Audi dealership in my area, they suggested that the delay and lies in me getting the vehicle, they felt this was a ‘red flag’ and sounded to them like there was bodywork damage that they needed to fix but did not want to tell me. My concerns as addressed above and that I feel I was missold and also had no sense of after sale either.
I requested that in my documentation it stated that they had offered me 2 free services and 2 free MOTs, I requested this several times with the sales agent and she said she’ll send it over, I still do not have this.
I’m so disappointed as this was my first big purchase after getting rid of my first car. I hate complaining but feel it is very much warranted for the experience I have received.
I have lost all trust in this dealership to not only fix the problems I am having but to actually address them in an empathetic and understanding way. All they say is “bring the car down, we’ll take a look” and not actually address the concerns I have or own up to the errors made throughout the process. As mentioned at the start I am not local to this garage and so it is frustrating when you trust an issue to be fixed and it isn’t.
I am unhappy with my car and the entire experience relating to it. I wish I purchased my vehicle from the Preston or Liverpool dealership after having much more positive experiences there.
I do hope that no one else receives the treatment I have had or receives a faulty vehicle.
