Tyler at Leeds has been amazing
I recently visited the Leeds Mercedes dealership and Tyler has been amazing. I got a flat tire, called the garage and he handled everything seamlessly. Also dealt with an issue under warranty whilst the car was there. Communication was great and the whole process was seamless, thank you

First class service
I have just taken ownership of my new Mercedes A200 from Stratstone in Leeds. This is our fourth car from them and as always their customer service and attention to detail is second to none. Martin Watson was incredibly helpful and nothing was too much trouble. I also received the most beautiful bouquet of flowers from Martin when I picked up my car. I cannot recommend them enough which is why we will always return.

Exceptional customer service from Callum in the parts department.
I was sourcing a hard to find part, which Leeds had in stock. I was helped by Callum McCarthy in the parts department, who was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to help me with order, and got everything done with record efficiency, including preparing it for a courier to pick up at very short notice. Exceptional customer service from Callum!

Very underhanded selling methods
Sale agreed for 24 plate e class with £14,000 part exchange allowance for mine.
Everything went through with them badgering me to sign e documents which were all wrong. Took £30,000 from my bank and arranged a collection for 29/10.
I changed over my insurance at a cost of £58 to me
I also took my private plate off at a cost of £80
Alas, when I got there they asked for the keys and put it on the ramp where the sales manager Adam had me go under the car to show me that a couple of wheels had been professionally welded, which I knew about but it didn’t affect the car and it passed the MOT tests. Adam said these cars are prone to wheels cracking and wanted me to pay for 2 new ones at over £1,000 each and put 4 new tyres on. So in effect they wanted to buy my 7 year old car, (which they’d agreed to buy) and for me to pay for new wheels and tyres so they could get more for it, a total of over £3,000 less than they’d agreed to pay for it. This is obviously a regular ploy to get people to accept less for their car as everything was all set up. I wasn’t having it and told them I’d take it home, even though I’d gone to considerable expense at that stage.
I refuse to be blackmailed by these dodgy salesmen and fully intend to recoup my losses.
They also said if I don’t sell it for less money they’d put a black mark on my car with Mercedes, saying it was a health and safety issue even though it passed the MOT with these issues.(there was one slight crack in one wheel which I hadn’t noticed but Adam was including all the faults as health and safety)
I would like to warn people of these shysters and don’t give them the time of day.
I don’t expect an honest reply to this review as I’ve seen all the other one star reviews that all seem to get the same standard reply
I will be contacting the owners of this company to cover my losses

Extremely Disappointing Experience – Misleading Sales and Poor Follow-Up
I bought a CLA45 from this dealership after being assured it was in immaculate condition with no poor previous body repairs. I was pressured to pay in full before month end to “secure the deal,” even though I hadn’t seen the car in person.
After travelling all the way from Scotland, I was extremely disappointed to find that the car had poor previous paintwork and was nowhere near the standard I had been promised. The dealership offered a small refund so I could have the bumper repairs done myself and promised that payment would be processed the same day.
That was over two weeks ago. Despite numerous emails and phone calls, I’m still waiting for the refund. I’ve repeatedly been told “the funds will be with you by the end of the day,” but this has never happened. To make matters worse, once the car was sold, the salesman completely stopped replying to emails or even coming on the phone — there’s been no communication or follow-up since the sale.
When I went to collect the car, they also didn’t have the V5 to tax it, meaning I couldn’t drive it home and had to take a train back to Scotland.
Overall, I feel completely let down by the lack of honesty, poor customer service, and lack of aftercare. I would strongly advise anyone considering buying a vehicle here to inspect it thoroughly in person before paying anything and to get every promise in writing.

Great experience
We recently bought a Mercedes GLA from Stratstone in Leeds and can only say how happy we have been so far with the service we’ve received.
David was extremely helpful, responded very quickly to our queries and was very patient. He dealt with everything from start to finish and made the whole experience straightforward.
Pleasure to deal with and can definitely recommend.

I generally avoid writing public…
I generally avoid writing public reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience with Stratstone Mercedes Leeds due to the seriousness of the issues involved and the lack of response from the dealership.
I purchased a vehicle from Stratstone Mercedes Leeds with the understanding that a warranty was included. However, at no point was I provided with any documentation related to this warranty, nor was it explained that it was a third-party product. This is a basic requirement when selling a vehicle under warranty, and the omission is both unprofessional and negligent.
What followed was even more concerning: despite multiple attempts to contact the dealership over a number of weeks—by phone, email and through Mercedes-Benz UK—I have received no formal response, no explanation, and no support. It has become impossible to access the warranty or even confirm its terms. The complete lack of communication has left me with unresolved mechanical issues and a significant financial burden.
As a parent of a child with special needs, the situation has had a direct and measurable impact on my family life. Regular therapy sessions had to be paused due to the vehicle being out of service, which in turn has affected my child’s well-being. I made this clear in my communication, hoping it would prompt some sense of responsibility or urgency—but again, there was only silence.
It’s deeply disappointing that such a large and established dealership would fail to meet even the most basic standards of after-sales care. A dealership carrying the Mercedes-Benz name should be held to a higher standard of professionalism, transparency, and customer support.
While I want to acknowledge that another branch (Mercedes Lakeside) has shown goodwill and attempted to assist—despite not being at fault—Stratstone Leeds has remained completely unresponsive.
I sincerely hope this review prompts Stratstone Mercedes Leeds to reflect on their internal processes and customer service standards. Customers deserve better than to be ignored, misled, and left to deal with avoidable consequences due to dealership oversight

I was dealing with Diane and just the experience wasn't the best. I had to ask them 3 times first to send me the payment link for my car for the service throughout the whole day before collecting my vehicle & half the time they wasn't answering the phone.
Afterwards I had to amend my name and company address & she got the address wrong & the name wrong twice despite being told mulitple times even though it's a very simple name.
Then towards the end asked to send the invoice with the correct details & waited more than 1 day and then never did so I had to ring AGAIN for her and the team just to do their job.
Quite disappointing despite spending a large amount of money so would expect the standard and service to be on a higher level especially when its main dealers.

Thought I was buying a dream that became worse nightmare , I bought a Mercedes from Stratstone in Leeds and bought it on the Internet. They sent me a presentation video telling me all the extras I had and what they were going to do to it before I picked it up and told me it looked brand-new. I’ve got to the vehicle and it was in a terrible mess. Lots of things I didn’t notice it didn’t have until afterwards. I drove out there. The air-conditioning did not work bearing in mind I paid £40,000 nearly for this car they came to my house picked it up had it two weeks refused to do stuff on it. Offer me more money back , but tell me I would have to lose the money on the tax on the insurance on my train fair there so I decided to keep the car as they said they would put it right they did not put it alright all the aluminium trims on the car are badly stained and will not clean. They tell me that was due to the last person not looking after the car very well so I’ve got the car now and don’t really know what to do with it as it needs lots of money spending them to get it to look nice. They’ve now told me they’re not interested in putting the air-conditioning right that’s gone wrong without me having to pay a diagnostic fee of £190 just sick and tired of Stratstone Leeds the worst place I’ve ever bought a car from.

**A Truly Exceptional Car-Buying Experience!**
I recently purchased a new car, and I couldn’t be happier with the entire process! From the moment I stepped into the dealership, the staff in particular Bilaal who took care of the whole process from start to finish, were welcoming, knowledgeable, and genuinely eager to help. Bilaal took the time to under-stand my needs and preferences, guiding me through a range of options with expert advice and zero pressure.
The car itself is an absolute dream—sleek design, cutting-edge technology, and an incredibly smooth drive. Bilaal took the time to thoughtfully explain every feature, ensuring I felt confident and excited about my choice. The purchase process was seamless, with transparent pricing and fantastic customer service from Bilaal that made everything hassle-free.
Driving my new car has been a joy! It’s comfortable, efficient, and packed with impressive features that enhance every journey. I highly recommend this dealership and their outstanding team member Bilaal to anyone looking for a stress-free, enjoyable car-buying experience. Thank you Bilaal for going above and beyond during the whole process and for all the after car support - Five stars all the way!

I am absolutely appalled by Mercedes Leeds, I have just received a text message after my phone rang once saying they have deleted my service history because I did not pay for a service, a service I did not authorise as the extra repairs were too expensive and when I went to pick it up I was told nothing had been done to my vehicle. Subsequently I took it to another garage for service where they advised the service had not taken place which is what I expected as Mercedes told me they had not serviced it. I was called last week and they said they would close the job down so that was the end of it...so why the threats?

A Very Disappointing Experience – Not What You’d Expect from Mercedes-Benz
I purchased an Approved Used Mercedes E-Class from Mercedes-Benz Leeds on April 1st, 2025, with delivery on the 8th. Based on previous positive experiences with BMW and Land Rover’s approved used schemes, I trusted that Mercedes would meet similar standards—unfortunately, I was wrong.
Firstly, the £499 GuardX treatment (reduced from a claimed £999) was completely underwhelming. I was promised a machine polish before application, but the car arrived with obvious swirl marks that a proper polish would have removed. The "ceramic coating" is of such poor quality that even a £10 spray would outperform it. If you're considering GuardX, save your money and visit a professional detailer instead.
Secondly, the so-called “Approved Used” checks are questionable at best. Upon delivery, the driver's side window control switch was faulty—buttons were stiff and intermittently responsive. This is something that should have been identified and resolved during pre-sale checks. Either those checks were never carried out, or someone deliberately overlooked the issue.
The worst part, however, was the aftersales service. I reported the window switch issue on April 9th and was assured it would be sorted quickly—either by collecting the car or through my local MB dealership in London. I chased the service team daily until April 14th. Initially, I was told I could go local, but then MB Leeds backtracked and wanted to send me to one of their garages 40 minutes away.
Out of frustration, I booked with my local Mercedes-Benz dealer myself for April 21st, and they resolved the issue while I waited. MB Leeds, on the other hand, only got back to me on May 6th—nearly a month after the issue was first reported—asking if I still wanted to get the car booked in!
The only positive was the Sales Manager, Mr. Adam Burton, who genuinely tried to help but was clearly let down by an unresponsive and inefficient service department.
In summary, this has been a disappointing and frustrating experience. If you’re thinking of buying an Approved Used car from Mercedes-Benz Leeds, I strongly urge you to inspect the vehicle yourself and not rely on the promises of the Approved Used program. I certainly won’t be making that mistake again—and now, I’m left wondering what other issues will surface with this car.

Extremely Poor Customer Services
Subject: Formal Complaint Regarding Incident at Leeds Showroom
Good Afternoon,
I am writing to formally raise a complaint about an incident that occurred at your Leeds showroom.
I have been a loyal Mercedes customer for years, having recently purchased a GLC from your Bradford branch. This was my first visit to the Leeds branch, where my wife, Farzana Mughal, had booked her car in for some checks. The issues included a loud fan, a warning light for the front beam, and a request to top up the screen wash and AdBlue (at 36%). She clearly communicated that we needed the car back by lunchtime, or by 2 pm at the latest. I dropped the car off at 7:32 am and handed the keys to Adeel, who assured me we would receive a call once the car was ready. When I asked about the car being valeted, he said it would be done if the bay was available.
Later, my wife informed me the car would be ready by lunchtime, so I arrived at the showroom. Initially, everyone seemed busy, but after speaking with someone, I was told the car hadn’t even been looked at yet. They promised to move it to the next available slot. I waited another hour before approaching Adeel at the service desk. He seemed flustered, and after I reiterated the situation, he responded aggressively, asking who told me the car was ready. I clarified that no one had called me directly, but they had called my wife. Adeel then accused me of being disrespectful and warned me. I asked how I had been disrespectful, but he continued to act inappropriately, squaring up to me and repeatedly warning me to “watch it, bro,” which I found offensive and unprofessional. His behavior made me feel uncomfortable and threatened.
He gave me the option to either take the car as-is, with the suggestion that your business didn’t need my custom, or to wait until 5 pm to see if it could be fixed. Feeling threatened, I asked Adeel what he was warning me about, but he walked off after tossing the keys on the table. When I asked for his manager, he pointed to a lady who was on a call but didn’t provide her name.
Eventually, Alex spoke with me, and I explained the situation. She took notes and tried to contact a mechanic, though she couldn’t get through. She then offered me a courtesy car, but I didn’t have my driving license with me to take that option. Instead, one of your drivers kindly took me home, and I must commend him for his professionalism.
However, I must express that I no longer feel comfortable owning or associating with Mercedes after this experience. I felt bullied and genuinely feared for my safety during the confrontation. As a result, I will be canceling my GLE 300 order.
This weekend is particularly significant for us, as we will be celebrating Eid and had planned to travel to Dudley and return to Leeds on Tuesday morning. We require a vehicle for this trip. I request that you either fix my wife’s car and have it delivered, along with the items we have already paid for at the Bradford branch (an umbrella, a C-Class keyring, and a pen for the glove compartment), or provide a like-for-like courtesy car for our journey.
I hope you can resolve this matter promptly.
Kind Regards,
