I purchased a £44,000 Mercedes that developed serious faults almost immediately.
The car then spent around 6 weeks being repaired, with significant delays even getting a courtesy car. After finally receiving it back, the fault returned multiple times.
I have tried to exercise my right to reject the vehicle under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 following the failed repair, yet the dealership is refusing my refund.
£44,000 for a faulty car, weeks without it, a failed repair, and now a battle to get my hard earned money. Imagine paying 44 grand to Mercedes and they treat you like this lol. Imagine how they’d treat you for cheaper cars.
If you’re buying a cheaper car.. stay clear. If you’re buying an expensive car.. stay clear! Unless you’re rich enough to waste money on faulty cars.. do your self a favour and stay clear!

My car was booked in for it’s MOT
I dropped it off on Saturday morning but couldn’t pick it up while Monday evening.
It passed its test and they even did a tiny job on the car with no extra cost.
Staff were great and very polite.
Thanx Strathstone Wakefield.
See you next year for my MOT test.

EDIT - Against my better judgement i came down again today after finding a baby sitter for my toddler to find out more information on the two cars and wanted to test drive, I was sat waiting for half an hour before the lady at reception came and told me it would be over an hour before someone could talk to me about the cars. I was speaking to someone else who was booked in and their appointment was 40 minutes late. I told her if I walk out the door for a 2nd time I will not be coming back. Safe to say its impossible to buy a car from here and God only knows what the customer services is like after you have purchased the car. I've never found it so hard to buy a car which i do every couple of years.
Terrible customer service.
Walked into the Wakefield Branch looking for a new car, was asked if it was business or personal said personal and was asked to take a seat. Shortly after a lady came out, I told her I was looking for an electric car. She briefly showed me the GLB and moved onto the GLC. Not many questions was asked, I told her I liked both she asked if i was paying PCP i said no and she said she would leave me to keep looking. After 5 minutes of looking at them both I had questions on both cars. Asked the receptionist to see if I could speak to her, she tried to call her but couldn't find her. I had no ideas on price, spec options or performance. In the end I walked out of the show room. After doing my own research online im leaning more towards the GLC but wanting to book a test drive before buying it.
You might want to send staff for training next door at Audi because thats how to treat potential customers.
