Been using Derby mini for years to look after our current mini and our previous mini always had good experiences even when the car was 10 years old they still seemed genuinely interested to offer a discounted service plan for the older cars to keep them looked after. Look forward to them looking after our current mini which they seem to be doing A+++

Just picked up a used car today a little disappointing as a little bit of trim was lose the sale girl was very helpful and new to stratstone. I was emailed recently with a upgrade promo so I look a cars and found one had it brought to derby with a deposit. When to view the car all looks OK .The upgrade promo was included front and rear mats and a boot liner and paint protection worth £599 and if you part exchange a £500 towards your upgrade. So I was in did the deal when and pick up the new used car and no boot liner as the girl was told that the liner was countryman and you don't do the mini 5dr boot liner. The car all looked good but when I was at home checking my car it didn't look like the paint protection had been done as under both mirrors was still very dirty and other areas. If it was cleaned and protection properly they would have seen the lose trim and got it fixed. So I have got too go back to get it fixed another day and you did even get a key ring as the girl said they had run out. The holding deposit could be refunded as the machine was not working but will be when I take the car back to be fixed. I have looked at mini parts website and yes they do have a boot liner for the mini f55 5dr .so a little disappointing with stratstone mini derby.

Very efficient and friendly service. As someone who hasn’t changed their vehicle for a number of years, and was slightly dreading the experience, I was delighted with how smooth it all was. Many thanks to Stratstone Derby.

The showroom was beautiful and we felt very safe as all guidelines were in place for COVID-19. Natalie Hawk is very knowledgeable and helpful. She clearly loves mini and made our experience friendly and fun. Although due to COVID I couldn’t have the full handover Natalie went through everything before hand. My car was ready and waiting with the roof down and a big bow on the bonnet!

When I got my car it had a scratch down the side. Employee of mini garage promised me to get this sorted with the body work team. Hear nothing for months so started to call the team. Every time the receptionist said she would get someone to call me back. I never had a returned call. And this went on for months. I rang each week to be told the same. Finally gave up. This problem still hasn’t been sorted. Recently had a message saying my car was due for a service. I took it back. After a couple of hours had a text saying that all this work needed doing to my car & to reply with yes or no if i was happy for them to carry this out. They sent me a list of what needed doing and quoted me £527.97 PLUS the 300 pounds for a service. I couldn’t believe it. I rang my other half who said to ring other garages before agreeing. Finally managed to book my car in with a local garage. & turns out none of this work needed doing other than my breaks!!!!! What an awful things to do. Still shocked.

Overall an amazing experience, great measures in place for covid. All employees were very pleasant and helpful, which stands out even more so in the current climate where we all have extra stress in one way or another!

Jono Alexander-Gould is an absolute star!
Just taken delivery of our new Mini Electric and we are thrilled with it. Had amazing customer service from start to finish and would highly recommend this dealership. From the moment we met Jono we knew we were in great hands - he's totally honest, very knowledgeable and just a lovely lovely guy. Thank you Stratstone Mini Derby, and look after Jono; he's fabulous and a real asset to your business.
Had been using this centre for about 4 years for servicing. Took our mini in for a £50 brake fluid service, came out with bill for £1600. Asked them to check for water ingress, told them we’d heard dripping from the doors. Seems door seals were only found to be “flattened and defective” once the carpet and all trim had come out and after two days of water testing. We weren’t told it would cost £1500 until the car was in bits. Their response to our subsequent complaint was utterly hopeless, completely disrespectful to what were loyal customers, and economically illiterate in that we will be purchasing vehicles and getting them serviced in the future, but cannot trust Stratstone for either purchase or servicing again. We will take the car to Sytner down the road in Nottingham - they have good reviews on this site. Beware using this centre - if something isn’t quite right you won’t get a good response from them...

I saw a used mini online and rang Stratstone Mini Derby to enquire about a test drive. Spoke to a salesman twice about the vehicle and he said it would be ready to test drive at the weekend. I arrived first thing Saturday morning and spoke to a salesman and took the car on a test drive. I loved it and wanted to buy it. I went back into the dealership to sort the finance out and was then told, in a rather blasé manner, that the vehicle had actually been sold the night before as someone had put a deposit down. I was never offered the chance to put a deposit down. I expected a lot more from a mini dealership. The worst thing was, they really didn’t care. Terrible experience.
