Called in January to get a replacement key, was passed around to multiple people to eventually be told I’d get a call back as everyone was busy. Called back 2 weeks later after no call back and was on the phone 20 minutes trying get a key ordered. Person on the phone didn’t really seem to know what he was doing but he told me it was ordered and when it arrives in branch, I would need to come in with the documentation required and pay for the key to get it booked in. Weeks later now in march I emailed to see if the key had arrived to which I was quoted and told it would be weeks to arrive. Rather than calling I decided to go in and speak to someone to find out they had no record of the order and it hadn’t been ordered, I would now need to place the order and wait another few weeks for it to arrive. I understand it’s an older model but something as simple as ordering a replacement key shouldn’t be so complicated and take weeks and multiple calls, emails and a visit just to get done. I’m currently waiting for the key to arrive and told it can be coded in an hour when I go back but considering I was there 40 minutes trying to order the key I’m not optimistic. The prices charged don’t reflect the service offered in my experience so far and have dealt with multiple instances of incompetence. One person I will shout out is Ella, she seems so far to have been the only one to get something done for me and did seem genuinely apologetic for my experience thus far.

Great experience from start to finish. I bought this car from 220 miles away just from a video and the first time I saw it was upon collection. My wife also bought a new Audi S3 and for ease, handed both cars over at the same time. Very relaxed transaction, easy to deal with “professionally informal” one big family and right on brand. A shame I do not live around the corner re servicing, but would definitely buy again. Tom Baker was great to deal with, no hiccups and very friendly. They made the day special and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend (actually I have already).

I booked my Porsche Macan in at Stratstone Wolverhampton for two new replacement front tyres. I arrived promptly at 13:00hrs as previously requested by the dealership it took them two and a quarter hours to do the work! When the car was finally bought back around to the showroom the walls of both tyres and the alloys were cacked in a white grease which looked very messy! Not expecting to be waiting for over two hours, I was now running late and therefore had to take the car as it was. Possibly next time I won't pay a dealership premium and I'll use Quickfit for both a quicker and tidier finish.
Update to the above: I wrote the above review without the knowledge of why I was waiting over two hours to change two tyres. No only were the tyres replaced but a comprehensive health check report was completed and the car was road tested. The dealership acknowledged that I should have been advised of the additional checks prior to me booking the car in. They have now amended their booking in procedure and as a gesture of good will they gave my car a full valet and presented me with a bottle of local fizz. All much appreciated. Thank you.

Great as long as you don’t want anyone to answer the phone, ring you back as promised, or even fix a 6 week old car that theoretically can’t be driven at all. We can look at it in two weeks time - wow! But we can’t fix it then, we can only look at it. You’ll have to leave it and we’ll get you an uber somewhere. Fantastic

We received a recall letter from Porsche for emissions update , so we booked our car in on 12th dec 2025,
We explained to them when booking it in that a coil light started to flash on dash board while de-accelerating occasionally.
Therefore we requested a diagnostic.
They did the diagnostic and told us it was a complex problem and further investigation was needed as the reading showed no fault codes and so they allegedly worked on our car or 4hours,
They then went ahead with the recall for emissions update .. which we received a call 4 hours later to tell us our car was no longer talking to them and the car would not start ..
Basically they fried the DME. (Ecu)
We then after not hearing for a week had to call them to be told our information for our car was being sent to Porsche uk and they would get back to us ..
again after a week we called again to be told Porsche uk could not find fault and the information was being sent to Porsche Germany ..
after a few days we got a call to say Porsche Germany said our car had been mapped and therefore no work would be carried out through them unless we paid the bill for them having fried our ECU .
We then requested proof of our car ever being mapped as we knew our car had never been mapped .. which they never showed us ..
we then went into the Wolverhampton shop and they still could not show us proof that our car had been mapped . They then admitted that after the first original diagnostic it showed nothing .. and they had not worked on our car for the 4hours they claimed they had on 12th dec which we would had been charged £300 per hour labour for. So they then said they would contribute 50/50 for a new ECU replacement. Which we declined and said they should fit the whole bill for the ECU as this was their fault as the car was ok and running when we gave it them originally.
So we then contacted Porsche GB ourselves and started a complaint through them.
After them having our car for 6 weeks of complaints Porsche Wolverhampton was told to replace the ECU as Porsche GB paid the other 50/50 of the bill ..
after another 2 weeks we was then told our car was ready for collection, however the original fault of the coil light was so there and they said they were 95% the fault is the fuel pump but they could not guarantee this .. and if we wanted them to replace fuel pump it would be just shy of £5000 ..
With this and the poor service we already had we said we would take the car away and take it else where ,
On collection day (8weeks later) they asked if we could wait while they wash our car and we said ok as they had our car for 8 weeks anyway .. another 30mins wouldn’t hurt . So after it was washed they gave us our keys , we went to our car .. started it .. the car shook, the revs are going up and down and stalled ..
we then went to drive off and we could hear a thumping noise coming from the boot, we got out , opened the boot to find our sub and amp was immersed in 3inches of water ..
We therefore went straight back into the dealership and demanded to know why our car was full of water and demanded they dry the boot out and replace our amp as they have had our car for 8 weeks all over winter and through their negligence our car is full of water.
after another 2weeks they called us to say they had dried the boot out and they had dried the sub and amp out piece by piece and there is no fault with it ..
we have taken the car away as they have had our car for 10weeks in total and just wanted our car back ..
we have found our boot to be not dried out at all .. we have had to take all the panels and foam insulation inside the boot out as they continue to be soaked and full of water , we are now on day 3 of drying the boot out ..
the sub and amp makes a thump noise when start the car up .
During the whole 10weeks of Wolverhampton Stratstone our service has been appalling .. not one manager would speak to us . Everytime we requested to see or speak to a manager we would be either told no manager was available or they would ring us back which they never did.
I have to say we regret taking our car for a simple recall as this has been so stressful and has caused damaged to our car.
We will never use Wolverhampton stratstone again for our car
Just an update 3weeks after writing this review so it is now 04/03/2026
Our subwoofer and amp is no longer working as I expected so I am now seeking professional advice as through negligence by statstone they have caused damage to this and should replace it .

Sold me a Taycan with major electrical problems that they were fully aware of and their own engineers had reported as impossible to resolve! The car was flashing severe error messages with 24 hrs of collecting the car and I even had all the screens fail on me whilst driving on the motorway, yet the dealership refused to accept anything was wrong.
6 month battle with the ombudsman and they were forced to take it back. Don’t touch this dealership with a barge pole or pay attention to the insincere apology messages that their customer service team copy paste into their responses to these complaints about Wolverhampton (and they are many). The management of this dealership knows exactly what it is doing and it’s about time Porsche HQ shut them down.

I bought 2 new cars in a 6 month period from Porsche Wolverhampton (Cayenne GTS and Boxster GTS).On collection of the Cayenne GTS it was evident the driver seat had a defect in the leather (excessive creases and wrinkles). I have photos from collection day.
I was advised to accept the car and if it didn't correct itself it would be fixed under warranty. I was fine with that assurance.
I returned the car after 2 weeks, and Porsche Wolvehampton attempted to iron out the wrinkles using an unapproved third party contact. It didn't work, and so a warranty claim applied for.Subsequently the warranty was approved and an eta given for a complete new seat base.
After a few months there had been no followup. I was then advised that the salesman dealing with the issue (Ben) had left the company and there was no record of the warranty claim or the defect.
The very abrupt service manager (Michael Rohl) then said it wouldn't be covered under warranty as it was "wear and tear"! After much back and forth and disagreement he agreed to strip in a single piece of leather as a “gesture of goodwill”. I disagreed with this as it wasn't Porsche standard procedure. Neither did it reflect previous communication on the matter.
I then contacted Porsche UK to intervene. Having seen all the evidence, communication and photos, a lady called Bethany apologized and said it was clear the seat was defective on collection and that an investigation would be conducted in the handling of this by Porsche Wolvehampton. Also that it would be covered under warranty and a complete new seat base would be supplied.
On liaising with Wolverhampton, Michael Rohl still insisted only a strip of leather would be inserted, ignoring Porsche UK.
After dealing with Porsche Wolvehampton for over a year and my seat still not fixed I gave up on Wolverhampton based on their utter shambles and disregard for any sort of customer service, and have taken it to another Porsche dealer.
Also: my brand new Boxster GTS had a puncture 3 weeks after purchase. I took it to be fixed but the secure wheel nut was missing. I contacted Wolvehampton and they said I must have lost it! A conclusion based on nothing but their own convenience. They did not help in supplying me with another so went to another dealership.
Having spent 260,000 pounds in 6 months with Wolverhampton I would have expected to dealt with professionally, courteously and with integrity. Above all in accordance with Porsche standards. However they do everything to make your experience painful and just exasperating. Don't be fooled by the glitzy showroom, croissants and coffee….the reality is quite different and I would not recommend it to anyone.
Ultimately Porsche cars are great but dealerships like Wolvermpton and incompetent staff let the brand down so badly.
