Horrible customer service

Honestly, refrain from buying from structube. I ordered 4 Houston chairs back in November, and started an exchange in December and you have to jump through hoops to explain why you need an exchange. I have been going back and forth with them since then and only a few days ago did they say it my fault because it wasn’t assembled correctly. They closed my ticket without letting me dispute or chat further. End of story, no empathy or kindness at all, now I’m left with wonky dysfunctional chairs. Avoid structube at all costs. Customer service is lacking, rather go to ikea or Wayfair because they have exceptional customer experience. I tried to leave a review on their product page about the chairs, and after submitting it says that it’s being under review. This just shows that they only publish 5 star reviews on their websites.

Horible horible furniture very…

Horible horible furniture very disappointed I bought 6 dining chairs it cost me 1,300 and after a year they are broken no one buys brand new furniture to last a year and that’s it. Caller costumer service I even requested if someone can come and fix them no nothing no refund no fixing nothing . I am very disappointed and I want other people to know and not be burned out like me and my family.

A Devastating Experience with Structube - A Loyal Customer Betrayed

I am writing to express my profound disappointment and frustration with Structube's handling of my legitimate concerns regarding the toxic-smelling BAILEY Velvet Dining Armchairs. As a loyal customer who has spent over $8,000 on various products from Structube, my recent experience has been nothing short of devastating.

Upon the delivery of the BAILEY chairs in November 2023, I immediately noticed an unbearable toxic smell, reminiscent of glue and chemicals. Trusting in the quality and reputation of Structube, I believed the issue would resolve on its own within a couple of weeks. Unfortunately, the odor persisted, and it became clear that these chairs posed a serious threat to human health.

My attempts to address this issue were met with disappointment when Structube's response, received on January 4, 2024, emphasized their 7-day claim submission policy. This policy, while understandable in certain circumstances, fails to account for situations where the true extent of the problem only becomes apparent after prolonged use.

I had trusted Structube to provide quality furniture that prioritizes customer well-being. However, the toxic smell emanating from these chairs not only undermines my trust but also raises concerns about the safety of Structube's products.

I have been a loyal customer since 2016 and have made substantial purchases from Structube, as evidenced by the extensive list of products I bought in November and December 2023. The BAILEY chairs are the first items to raise such significant issues, and I am deeply disappointed in Structube's failure to acknowledge and address the gravity of the situation.

It is disheartening to realize that Structube, a company I once believed in, is not a customer-centered seller. I had hoped for a resolution that demonstrated a commitment to customer satisfaction and safety. Instead, I received a response that prioritizes policy over the well-being of a loyal customer.

Terrible quality and poor service

I bought a couch in May 2023 for $2,300.
As soon as we bought I noticed that the pillows/cushions needed a lot of fluffing to retain their shape. In addition, we would find random feathers here and there.
Six months later, the cushions have not held their shape and when we sit it is hard. In addition, the feathers are poking through couch so much so that you feel them when sitting or laying on the couch. Mind, it is just me and my partner using this couch.
I reported it to Structube and they were very unhelpful. We were left high and dry with this terrible couch.

Extensive delays in waiting for a sofa…

Extensive delays in waiting for a sofa delivery - now at the 4 month mark and no sign of it arriving anytime soon.
We paid a hefty deposit for a sofa in September that we were assured would be delivered start of November, it then got delayed to December and subsequently delayed to at least the end of January....here's hoping!
In the meantime because we kept getting told a delayed timeframe for delivery at a few week intervals we decided to wait instead of buying another sofa from a more reliable vendor. I think Structube were dishonest and lacked transparency when they accepted the deposit day one.
They also should not have floor models or accept deposits for same if they cannot delivery them items within an appropriate timeframe.

Unmet customer needs. A close relative paid 4000. For an rust leater couch an needs a small leg and not one staff member was able to help get her one. She was willing to pay for this wooden leg 3 in

A 4000. Rust colored leather couch was bought and a 3 inch wooden leg was needed. The customer was willing to pay for the leg but the store manager or employees were unable to get her 1 3 inch wooden leg. Structube has lost business because of this.

I purchased two items in November

I purchased two items in November. Delivery dates have been pushed back twice on both products. Nothing ever is in stock in this store. Why is that? Doesn’t make any sense. I understand once but twice! This is unacceptable and agree with others customer service is terrible. I’ll stick with ikea from now on.

We recently purchased the Structube Andrew L-shape sofa for our living room, investing $2000 in the product. Unfortunately, within just three months, the cushions have significantly flattened, resembling more of a wooden bench than a comfortable sofa. The decline in quality became apparent within the first two weeks.Regrettably, our experience was compounded when we reached out to customer service. Their proposed solution involved a 50% deduction from the original purchase price, leaving us dissatisfied with both the product and the support received.This experience has led us to question the overall quality of the sofa and has left us wishing we had taken other reviews more seriously before choosing this brand.

What went wrong "this time"

What went wrong "this time"? good question. Third order in row, delivery dates delayed between 1 and 4 months. This is not clear when the items are purchased. A few days delays are acceptable, but months-delays means that the business is not making orders when we make them. Asked for the cancellation of my order and the agent just hung up on me. Now trying to talk to a manager and we need to wait for 3 days because of "process". All this is a scam, will escalate to the competition bureau.

Terrible customer service and no communication

Today I received a call stating that my sofa is not back in stock and may not be delivered until after Christmas.

This is 100% UNACCEPTABLE. I ordered directly through their Granville office as they said that the delivery would be much quicker than online.

I have sold my own sofa to prepare for this delivery and have family coming for Christmas and there is NOWHERE for them to sit. They expect my 72 year old aunt to sit on the floor?? This is crazy. Had Structube told me, I would have cancelled the order.

They have done this to me before and at that time I cancelled the order as it was going to take months.

I am afraid that their business model is unsustainable. Customer service is key today and they are failing miserably.

To rectify this, they should offer:

- a sofa that I can use over Christmas - I don't mind if it is a floor model, but I need something for my family to sit on
- please either reduce the cost of the sofa I ordered or give it to me for free.

No Customer Service and Shipping Takes Forever

I was told that I would be receiving my order by November 27 (2 weeks after placing my order) and it is now November 28 and no sign of my order. I called and they are saying that I may not be getting it before December 7... I then asked to speak with a manager and was told it would take up to 3 days to get someone to call me back. This is not a customer service focused company and please do not buy from them if you are in a rush to get your product... I regret having dealt with them... my friend did warn me that shipping is awful and would take forever...

Wont tell you what country their products are made

I contacted the company because I wanted to buy a chair for my father for Christmas. The chair was a bit of money so I wanted to verify where it was made to see if it was done ethically. I contacted them and they told me that information is not public information. I feel like we should be able to know where it came from. As far as i know they made the chair is a sweat shop.

Missing Holes in Frame

Horrible horrible horrible horrible. Do not buy from this store, I don't understand how they are in business considering all the bad reviews.

I bought the carme bed and not only were the instructions pretty horrible, there were 16 missing holes that I had to drill myself because it seems the manufacturer forgot to do it. I thought maybe I was over looking something but after doing some research I saw some videos and posts mentioning similar issues.

I would definitely never buy from this place again, plus the 7 day return policy is a joke.

Avoid this place, for the price point and quality just go to IKEA .

Stylish and Affordable

I actually had a very good experience at Structube. We just bought a cottage and wanted stylish but affordable furniture. Our salesperson was extremely helpful and guided us through the various options and made lots of great suggestions. We spent over $20,000 and all of our items except two were delivered in 1-2 weeks. A few items arrived damaged, I took photos and submitted them right away and put them back in their packaging. Within a week my new items arrived and all were fine. Structube is similar to IKEA in my opinion so I’m not expecting these items to last a lifetime. You also get what you pay for within the store. For example, a $299 bed frame is going to be cheaper quality than a $799+ frame. We bought mostly their most expensive items and all have been fine so far. We love the look of everything in our cottage and are happy overall with our experience.

Order a bed. Delivery slot to be issued 24hrs prior. No sign. They arrive and I missed it as I was at the shop. Went through >8 customer service reps, all absolutely useless and uncaring at the fact I was sleeping on the floor.
Cancel order and reorder same bed as it was going to take 3 business days to raise this issue to management who are totally vacant.

Had to follow up multiple times to ensure I knew the delivery timeframe for the 2nd bed (even though they said they would inform me 24hrs prior to delivery day-don’t listen to them when they say they inform you 24hrs beforehand as this is BS).

Bed arrives. Massive crack on the headboard-I was in a state of shock after the initial debacle and delay in receipt of my bed.
Rang customer service-zero empathy. Went through more reps to try arrange for the bed to arrive sooner as day 15 I am still on the floor. It took another 6 days for the new bed to come.
Bed arrives and exchanged for a functioning bed.

Never again will I darken the door of this establishment and their idiotic staff/management.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Sept 2023. Actually the rating is 0. I will not shop at Structube again & hope others do not as well. Ordered a sofa bed, which I quite liked. Impossible to assemble despite my having several people try. No help at all from the store or the head office. Policies are very rigid & staff are officious. Made me feel as though it was my inability/problem. Had to pay $50 to have the item delivered into my apartment - So-called “free delivery”.
That’s after waiting 7 weeks for delivery. Would not provide any help to assemble - not a service they provide. Returned the item & got a refund. They did waive the restocking fee of $75, which no one had advised me of. Not the $50 delivery. Thank goodness I had kept the box, which sat in my living room for 3 weeks. I had purchased a complimentary chair which came prior to the sofa bed. Would not accept a return because I had already recycled the box.
Never again will I darken their doorstep. Call head office was useless.

I am 58 went trough 2 centuries experienced paper and phone companies and electronic services as well
Don’t buy there my lamp has a defect, I bought the item 9 days before unpacking
No refund no excuse no nothing except: it’s 2 days after our policy

May as well be considered a scam

May as well be considered a scam. If a product of theirs is on back order, there is literally absolutely no guarantee that it will come. I pre-ordered a couch in July estimated to arrive sometime in September—OK sure, cool, a few days or weeks variance is fine. Then November—OK, annoying but I guess it's fine. Then early December—red flags going off. Then late December. Their customer service is absolutely sterile too, 0 points.

It's a couch. It doesn't depend on superconductor imports for crying out loud. If you can't stock it, don't sell it.

Will be requesting a refund ASAP.
