Excellent service by this company

Excellent service by this company. When the first courier failed to deliver our rucksack, Stubble and Co took the matter in hand and promptly resent a rucksack through DPD; who were excellent. I am delighted with the quality of the rucksack and can’t wait to use it. I highly recommend this product and company.

Excellent customer care

The bag hasn’t arrived yet but I’ve done my research and I’m not expecting to be disappointed.
However I wanted to comment now about the prompt, responsive and considerate customer care ( Daphney take a bow). I’d been intending to buy the bag yesterday when it was discounted but stuff got in the way and the sale ended. Daphney arranged for me purchase it today at the sale price and everything sorted within 10 minutes. Thankyou

Great product quality

Great product quality, my bag has been in daily use for 3 years and was the perfect companion until a zip failure but I can't fault their customer service even though the bag was out of warranty. I was offered a discount on a new Stubble as a replacement

Seriously good customer care

Seriously good customer care. That’s what separates a brand from others: Stubble clearly want customers to be repeat customers over many years to come. They treated me very well when I had an issue and with a seriously good product to boot… 5* all the way

Amazing customer service

My roll top bag had a zipper issue with the laptop compartment.
Wrote in to Stubble & Co. to enquire about warranty. To my pleasant surprise, Daphne the customer service rep replied promptly and quickly.

Thank you very much, you have made my day.

Regards,
Nicholas ;)

I had an issue with one of their backpacks, after using it for more than one year zippers started to tear, thus, I wrote to stubble support and they were really helpful and send me a new one because they couldn’t fix the old one (they said that they stopped producing it, thus sent a new one).

Good rain protection, but unreliable when running

I'm writing this review here because I didn't see it displayed on the stubble and co website when I submitted it. I only saw the positive reviews instead.

I have been using the 30l kit bag for about 4 months now. The bag itself is durable and sturdy. The rain protection is excellent.

The thing that degrades the experience for me is the straps. Since they can be tightened from 2 directions, they can also loosen from 2 directions. As a result, if you walk briskly or run, the bag gradually drops lower and lower, and requires constant adjustments.

This is quite unfortunate, because at every commute I have to adjust the straps 3-4 times.

Great looking bags, fantastic customer service

Only just bought the bags from Stubble & Co, so cannot comment on longevity yet, but the look and feel of the bags are amazing.

Customer service has been excellent - I emailed about a small issue with one of the bags, and it was dealt with very promptly. Shout out to Daphney for being super friendly and professional.

Worst giver of back pain - avoid!

Have been using their 30l kit bag for about 2 months - this is the single WORST design for the back, and has led to significant lower back pain as a result. There is no support or shape to the structure. I imagine if more people are using their kit bag, Stubble are going to be sued into oblivion in the future.

Hi George,

Thanks for taking the time to share your experience. We're really sorry to hear the Kit Bag hasn't been comfortable for you and that it's caused back pain - that’s obviously not the experience we want anyone to have with our products.

We really appreciate you raising this and will make sure your feedback is passed on to our product team as it’s helpful when we review and develop future designs. If you’d like to get in touch with our support team at hello@stubbleandco.com with your order details, we’d be more than happy to help find a solution for you.

Good bag, room for improvement

I switched to this bag after my Spiral roll top fell apart in under a year. I had read good things about the quality of the bags and the customer service, so thought I'd give it a shot, despite the high price tag. I have been using it for about 5 weeks, and here are my thoughts.

Pros:
- Stylish
- Roomy
- Good customer service
- Separate laptop compartment (I didn't like this at first but now I love it)
- Multiple pockets in the main compartment
- Water bottle holders on the side
- Waterproof

Cons:
- I need to retighten the straps every 5 minutes and every time I put the bag on, as they get really loose otherwise. This is very annoying and makes me feel like a child.
- No zip on the main compartment. I Understand this is to ensure the bag is water proof, but it limits the amount I can pack into that bag, and does sometimes means I have to bring an additional bag with me. If you added a zip people would have the option to fill the bag on dry days with zero compromise to the roll top function.
- The front pocket is small, so it only really big enough for my lip balm and staff ID. It's also on the wrong side for right handed people to easily get to.
- Nowhere to put my keys! It's winter at the moment so I keep them in my coat pocket, but come summer this will be an issue. The front pocket is too small and on the wrong side.
- Nowhere to easily keep my sunglasses. As a glasses wearer, I am constantly switching between my prescription sunglasses and normal glasses, and Spiral backpack had a large front pouch that I kept my keys and glasses in. I am currently keeping my glasses in one of the water bottle holders, but that's not very secure so I am waiting for the day they fall out and break/I lose them.
- My version doesn't have the funky orange inside lining.

In conclusion, I don't regret buying this bag, but considering the high price tag, I don't think I would buy another one unless they make it more functional.

First class customer service

I have multiple Stubble and Co products, the hybrid 30l, tech bag and cooler bag (once delivered).
Yesterday the buckle cracked on the chest harness of my backpack. Email sent to Stubble and Co this morning at 08:00, by 12:00 the issue has been resolved and a replacement pack is due to ship.
I cannot rate the customer service higher, the rep for me was Shem.
It is great to see a company that still prioritizes customer service, not something you see a lot of these days.

The products themselves are great, I love my hybrid backpack - waterproof, rugged, everything you need.
The tech bag is also awesome, enough space for daily essentials whether its for work or travel.

Waiting for the cooler bag to be delivered, I noticed it drop in the sale recently but missed out on purchasing before it went out of stock so I had to order from a 3rd party, but I am sure this will be equally as good as the other products as I have.

I didn't know a backpack could be so good...

I ordered a Hybrid Backpack 20L and as a new customer, I got 10% off. 2 weeks after I received it I noticed that they had a sale on, offering 20% so I cheekily asked if they could match the new price, and they did!

Aside from this great customer service, the Hybrid Backpack 20L is fantastic. I bought it after watching numerous YouTube reviews on backpacks in general which highly rated the Hybrid Backpack range. I looked on the Stubble & Co website and was very impressed with the features. As a commuter who has to travel 30 miles to work, a commute which involves a 20 min walk and 3 trains (both there and back), a backpack is not just a backpack. It becomes part of the weight my legs need to carry so it's important that it's comfortable. My old Fjallraven was really hurting my shoulders (which was strange considering one of its selling points was that it doesn't do this...) it was also almost featureless compared to the Hybrid Backpack 20L. I pondered getting the 30L but opted for the 20L to enforce a limit on the amount of stuff I carry to/ from work (bad habit of mine). Amazingly, I have actually been able to fit more in this than my Fjallraven and somehow, I have no pain in my shoulders. I barely feel the weight of all the things items I have convinced myself are essential (Do I really need 5 USB-C cables? Yes, just in case). I even changed my work coat to match the backpack because this purchase triggered a refresh of my 'commuting uniform', so definitely a life enhancer. I must get someone to take semi 'candid' photos of me on Thameslink or the Victoria line so I can see how smart I look.

If you are thinking about buying this, stop thinking... just buy. Your shoulders will thank you!
